Two person sustained injuries when a container body fell on them along Owerri road, by Obodo Ukwu junction, Onitsha, Anambra State on Monday October 21.

Spokesperson of the Anambra State Police command, Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the incident said no fatality was recorded.

"However a woman who was passing by sustained injury and was taken to the hospital but now responding to treatment. Scene was cordoned off by Police patrol teams and effort is ongoing to clear obstruction to enable free flow of traffic in the area.” said Mohammed

Recall that Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo, is seeking a N10m redress from Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, following allegations of rape levied against him, well Kemi Olunloyo, controversial investigative journalist, has shared that two lawyers from the singer wife’s team have resigned.

Speaking via her Instagram page, she further shared that the two lawyers have called her and want to speak with her.

A few years ago, Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel was embroiled in a contractual dispute with his then-record label, G Worldwide. The issue was his desire to breach the terms of his contract and exit the label without fulfilling the terms of his contract.

As a result of the dispute, an injunction prevented him from performing throughout the festive period of December 2017.

It also led to him changing his name from ‘Kiss’ to ‘Kizz.’ G Worldwide has trademarked the name, ‘Kiss.’ While on G Worldwide, he released his critically acclaimed and commercially successful Headies-winning 2016 debut album, New Era.

However, starting in 2017, he was able to release music again through his own record label, Flyboy Entertainment and even released his sophomore album, No Bad Songz on the label. But now, G Worldwide has slammed him with another lawsuit totaling N500 million.

In a matter filed by originating summons G Worlwide and its counsel, Dr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), it seeks legal redress for breach of recording contract against the artiste and infringement of its intellectual property rights by the artiste. The matter is before a High Court sitting in Lagos.

However, when the matter appeared before the High Court on Monday, October 7, 2019, the claimants prayed the court for a stay of proceedings so it can settle the matter via the alternative dispute resolution method, arbitration – a stipulation of he contract signed between both parties.

Another prayer before the court was for an amendment of originating processes. The label also seeks N200,000,000 in general damages and N179,499,957.00 in special damages for breach of contract and N150, 000, 000 for contract exit fees, among other reliefs.

The matter has since been adjourned till January 21, 2020 to hear the Label’s application.

Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria's former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections, has spoken on the importance of food security.

The former vice president said it is important "to promote mass food production, food security and large-scale commercial agricultural production".

Atiku disclosed this via his official Twitter account, @atiku, to mark the 2019 World Food Day which is annually celebrated by Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) on October 16.

A primary school pupil identified as Ekhator Lucky is one of those Nigerians with skills. The little boy was celebrated for his skill of making things with scraps of metal.

We came across Lucky's story after a reader identified as Hope Harrison sent photos of the generator and blender built to Legit.ng Facebook inbox. The boy builds the items using scraps from plastic.

Harrison revealed that the little boy is a primary six pupil, who stays in Egor local government area of Edo state.

The reader also sent photos of other things that were created by lucky using some plastic scraps he gathered.

England supporters have been involved in violent clashes with local police in Prague.
The ugly scenes erupted just before 7pm local time when some Three Lions fans began throwing bottles towards armed officers in riot gear.

A recorded warning was played in English before the Czech police advanced on the fans, who had taken over a small square in the city's Old Town.

Stun grenades were fired by police as fans were forced back through a small archway as bottles continued to be thrown.

About a dozen men were forced into a corner and made to lie face down, while another was seen being pinned to the floor nearby as officers secured the scene.

A Czech police officer told MailOnline: 'The England fans were very drunk and started throwing bottles at us.

'We fired the stun grenades to ensure they dispersed quickly. We detained 10 England fans and they will now face the Czech legal process.'

It comes after England supporters descended on Prague ahead of their team's Euro 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic.

Until night fell, there had been little trouble in the city, with police involvement limited to telling fans to remove flags from buildings.

Hundreds of fans took over a small square in the city's Old Town, chanting and drinking.

One local resident fought back against the noise, producing a megaphone to protest from his second-floor window.

Almost 3,800 Three Lions fans bought tickets for Friday night's clash although more are believed to have travelled.

The late kick-off time of 8.45pm and the city's party reputation led to fears of a repeat of ugly scenes witnessed on recent trips to Amsterdam, Dortmund and Porto.

The fixture also coincided with a national day of mourning for the country's most famous singer, Karel Gott, who died last week, and travelling fans have been told to be respectful of mourners.
