males have being in nursing since time immemorial. I grew up to knw many male nurses getting retired, so its not a new trend. I guess its cos people refer to them as 'doctor'... Emancipate ursef frm mental slavery man

Am a Male Nurse, based in Kogi, From experience I can only say I face those gender challenges during my schooling days when a female patient says cos you are a male (student) nurse, you can't touch or see them, but when you are out in the real world and u are the only one on duty and. A male nurse, let the patient who doesn't want u to touch her remain there unattended to...and die.. Trust me they have no choice.. I work in female Ward in a hospital in Ayangba...

Nothing is wrong with male nurses...my course mate who was to be operated on his abdomen was not properly shaved around his John Thomas area ånd the hairs were so grown to the abdomen where the operation will reach.. It was a female nurse who was asked to come do the shaving before the start of the operation.. ånd the way she was holding,twisting,ånd rotating that joyystick while shaving as if she dey change motor gear... So if a lady çån do so to a man,what will happen when a man do same to a lady?

Very true with Nigerian doctors so ineptitude in their duties. I once had a mallet finger injury to my little finger.

Went to Lagoon Specialist Hospital and having spent like 2 hours there to see the doctor, they couldn't tell me what it was. Doctor rather requested an x-ray and see a consultant following week.

The doctor never for once recommend using a splint to properly it up until I angrily asked why and it was done.

Cut Story Short, I ended up treating myself by buying a specialized splint on Amazon less than $10 as the hospital or Igbobi the consultant called couldn't do any better.

Sad but I most times feel safe in my own hands than the hospitals. Even for governor Akpabio despite building the biggest hospital in Africa still dodged to UK after his James Bond driving accident RIP ChazB.

LOL... Come and get me...... I will do it again again and again. I don't bloody care. I was just happy seeing him dying gradually. The funniest things is that when the guy had cardiac shock which needed me the do. Cardiac pulmonary resuscitation. I was doing it gently but when is it time to give him oxygen I would not direct it into his mouth but rather on his neck. I did it twice till I made sure the doctor came and certified him dead. I weeped alongside with his mum but that was just a crocodile tears. I entered our dressing room and laugh out in joy.
