Reports of a leaked sex tape involving a popular female VJ and an unidentified man have recently trolled the internet.
The story which was over the weekend reported by celebrity journalist Abiola Aloba of Maestro Media who claimed to have watched the sex tape, clearly gave hints on the female participant, who according to him, is a ‘popular hostess on a cable network, hosting a musical show who always holds her audience spellbound by her delivery’.
He took the pain of describing her physical features; ‘…Not too tall, very shapely with big eye balls, she looks like an angel’, her name, ‘…she sounds like ‘champagne’, we are not talking ‘Brut or Rose’ and even her family ties, ‘…and seems connected to the family of a former ruler, at least by her second name’.

Even a fool would easily match Aloba’s description with popular Soundcity VJ Laura Monyeazo Abebe better known as Moet Abebe. She is the daughter of John Abebe, the brother of the late first lady, Stella Obasanjo.
The 23-year-old returned to Nigeria in 2011 after studying Law at Manchester University, UK.
Moet, an aspiring model well known for her impeccable command of English Language, has featured in a couple of music videos including Lynxxx’s ‘Alabukun’ feat Banky W, Show Dem Camp’s ‘Getting you’, Wizkid’s ‘Pakurumo’. At Soundcity, she currently hosts the ‘1 on 1’ with Moet show and covers routine events.

Who owns the car you post on your Instagram account?
It is actually a Chrysler 300, all pimped out. That is my recent baby. I call that car my baby because I love cars a lot. I got the car in 2012 and it cost me about N4m. My next car is going to be very crazy, I am going for a monster truck. I’m just living my life like my mentor, Mudi. If you know him, he has crazy cars. You would just see his number plate on one flashy vintage car. Now he just got a 505, 1958 model, very crazy. I love crazy stuffs. I used to drive a vintage Ford. It is a pimped out Ford. It was just two of us that own that edition of Ford in the whole of Lagos. They know me with that car, it is like my brand. If you see that car, you will know that Yomi is coming. What I want to go for now is a monster truck; the ones with the really big tyres. I just want to make a statement with that truck."

What is it like being AY’s brother?
Being AY’s brother has affected my business positively. Everybody knows me with AY. If you see AY, you see Yomi Casual. I am about the only designer that has his advert on DSTv. She is from Warri, Delta State. She knew me when I started, when I was still an artist, then I used to do hand-made cards, signboards in Warri. We met one fateful day while it was raining. She helped me with an umbrella and that was how we met.
How come you are still together?

She actually published the post on her blog and it was kinda touching so I decided to share it with you all...enjoy!
It's my mother's birthday today the 9th of may and I am so grateful to God for her life.

I call her my Amazon queen because of who she is and what she stands for. "May" as my late father would call her and "M.T" as her siblings would call her, is a very strong willed and determined woman, who through her life stood up for what she believed in.
I remember the stories of the Biafran war she told me. Hmmm that made my respect for this woman sky rocket. Hers was so inspiring and amazing that I had to think of ways to preserve her story.
She was one of those women who were told that her husband had died during the fight in another state but refused to believe it or back down. Instead, she carried three children on her body, one flask, one wrapper and walked from the east to the mid west in the middle of the war.
Her love for her family kept her going and gave her hope that no matter what the soldiers told her she refused to accept the information they gave her so she walked and kept walking till she got to his own village from her own, in the middle of the war.

My mum has a way of making you feel that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.
She worked in the bank from the time I was born till the time she retired and one thing that always got me smiling every morning was her dress sense. I don't know if I have ever said this before but I used to beg her to come to my school for very silly reasons just so that I could show her off to my school mates. I don't know how she got her own clothes but they always looked custom made. Her skirt suites and extremely classy high heeled shoes. Different colors and designs and plenty of it too. She would never wear an outfit twice.
May was too beautiful to be ignored when she walked past anyone because she was very light skinned and her hair was so looooonnnnnggggg, thick and dark (color 1). Her eyeballs were lighter than that of the average African and the way she walked with her heels was so eye catching that I would put a book on my head just to see if I could walk like her. Church and God, she never joked with regardless of what your personal beliefs or preferences were. She would let you do what you want to do but only after you have gone to church and prayed to God.


My parents were married for forty years before my dad passed and throughout their marriage she was a strong pillar of support to my dad and all of us. They understood each other so well because my dad was also a banker from the time I was born to the time he retired.
One thing we all knew was that if you want to win a battle in my family you better get my mum on your side o hmmmm if not it will not be easy. Lol!
I am grateful to God and my mother as well for who I am today.

You see, my mother was the first one to recognize my talent and made sure I was a part of all the school plays. When we travelled to her hometown, she would make me sing in front of a crowd. One of those times after singing, her own father, my late granddad called me, I think i was five years old; he said "Oby my princess, you will be my star please don't stop because I want to see you up there when you grow up". I ran to my mother and told her what he said and she smiled at me and said " he sees what I see all the time". I was so excited that when I got to school I could not wait to tell my music teacher to sign me up for the school band.

My Amazon Queen is my number one fan and I love her to bits.
When I have issues and can't talk to anyone, she is the first one i call. Strange as this may sound she has been my best friend through the years. I tell her things that other people will never tell their mother's but that is because she never judges nor condemns me. She speaks to me like her friend most of time and tells me where I went wrong and how I can fix it. She used to call me CC which meant constant companion. I love that name so much and I miss those times that I would stay with her and chat with her all day.

Growing up and moving on has changed a lot of things in a lot of lives because now we have responsibilities our own homes and families and work. Pphheewww! Where did the time run to?
I could go on and on with fun things to say but I can't end without saying "I love you mummy and I am so grateful for all you did for me and taught me. I know I am not perfect but you have loved and supported me through my trying times. I pray that God will keep you in good health, so that you will enjoy the fruits of your labor to the max. You have been an inspiration to me and a prayer warrior. The best mother anyone could ever ask for. Daddy is in heaven now smiling at you and saying "May thank you for keeping the family together and for keeping the fire of love burning in our home". Last week, I met up with my cousin who just moved back to Nigeria and he came with his friend. We had lunch at Soul Lounge at the Palms mall in Oniru, V.I and we had a long talk. We gisted about all sorts and the topic that took the longest of our time was “women”.
Apparently, his friend that came along just got married to a girl he’s been dating for three years. They never had sex before they got married because the chic was a virgin and she had always told him that the best wedding gift she could give her husband was her virginity.
On their wedding night, they decided to do the “do” it didn’t go as he had expected. What shocked him about the whole act was the fact that he didn’t see any “blood”.
This episode made him question whether he really married a virgin. He asked for my opinion and I tried to explain to him that it wasn’t in all cases that you’ll see blood when a woman looses her virginity. I even went further to tell him that her hymen may have broken ages ago if she was active in sports but he was hell bent on believing what he believed which was- She fooled him into believing she was a virgin.
What surprised me the most about our conversation was when the guy said he regretted not marrying his ex-girlfriend. I was quite surprised I was hearing this from someone who got married barely four months ago. So I asked him why he didn’t marry his ex-girlfriend, he simply said “She had been with too many guys.” The look of shock on my face made my cousin chip into the conversation “Err…Ariyike, he meant to say she had been with too many guys before they started dating and he just couldn’t marry her and live with the thoughts”.
It got me thinking about a friend of mine. She’s been with about 5 different men and each time she started dating, she believed he was “the one”. At each point in time, we always thought she would end up with the person she was dating but somehow, they always left her until she finally found genuine love and this happened when she wasn’t even searching. Now she’s married with kids.
Marrying a virgin or marrying as a virgin is a good thing in fact it’s the proper thing to do but we also must remember that we are all human beings. We’re not perfect and our imperfections make us who we are. The fact that a girl has been with a lot of guys in her past doesn’t mean she can’t be a good wife and the fact that a girl is a virgin doesn’t mean she’s going to give you all the happiness and satisfaction you desire. For the lucky guy, she may be a virgin and still make him happy, that’s what you call a “total package.” Why do guys even date girls that they feel have been with “too many” guys when they know they don’t have good intentions for the girl? This brings me to my second question. How many is “too many?”
During the course of our conversation, I asked him if he was a virgin when he got married and he said “ofcourse not” and we all laughed. I went ahead to tell him that life is not as serious as we take it, if someone makes you happy, you shouldn’t care if she’s a virgin or not, everyone has a past and we all must respect that fact. His ex girlfriend made him happy but he left her because she had been with too many men, a fact he already knew while they were dating.
A lot of men can be selfish, most of them like to “play” around but they don’t want to know that anyone has ever “touched” the one they love. No man wants to know that his woman has ever been with another man even though he has been busy frolicking with other women. Men that have been with a lot of women are referred to as “Gs” or “Bad guys” while women/ladies that made mistakes in their past by dating different guys are called the worst names. Some of these ladies did not intentionally date several men, a lot of them were naive back then, most had misplaced priorities and as they mature and grow older, they become focused and begin to know what they want out of life.
A guy once told me he dumped his 23 year old girlfriend because she told him she had been with 27 guys. In his own words “If she’s only 23 and she’s been with 27, by the time she hits 27, she would have been with God knows how many”. But like I said earlier on, that may not be the case.
Let’s all remember that we’ve all made mistakes in the past and no one is perfect, some have made more mistakes than others. However, it’s helps if you can learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others in order to live a decent life and for the virgins out there, you are like diamonds in this our generation so keep shinning.

1. How many men should a woman have slept with that qualifies her as being with too many men?
2. Men: Would you want her to tell you the names of all the men she’s been with? Women: would you tell him how many men you’ve been with?
3. Men: If she says she’s a virgin and you marry her, you penetrate and don’t see “blood”, are you going to think she deceived you into believing she was a virgin?

For sometime now, it's been rumored that Actor/model is having an affair with Uti Nwachukwu, that is, gay partners.'
Alex in a recent interview with Bellanaija had this to say:

"I don’t care and I am not bothered. Nigerians have what I call the crab mentality. Have you seen a bunch of crabs in a bucket? When one is trying to come out, the others pull it down. If these insinuations were true, by now there should be a picture to prove it. Look at most successful Nigerian entertainers, they were either tagged gay or Illuminati which I find weird. You see some girls acting their lives away on TV and people tag them as “runs girls”. Almost every young, successful entertainer has a negative tag and it is disheartening."
