This old man just put himself for wahala.. as it is now, nobody can help him. You're living peacefully with your family in a State where the people love peace but want to bring terrorists killing Igbos and destroying their properties into Lagos. I don't think he knows the kind of pacifying that happened underground after the EndSars destruction of Lagos by IPOBs and burning of Oba Akiolu's palace that made Lagos still habitable for Igbos. When elders that should be cautioning their wards are behaving like toddlers, problem upon problems is what they get. |
Okoroawusa:Don't mind them.. If they can show this much hatred for Asiwaju Tinubu that gave them positions in his cabinent as Lagos State governor, which Yoruba will they then spare? Everybody should go back and seek political offices in their regions.. enof of father xmas from Lagos Yorubas to ingrates. |
Mr Bayo Onanuga was right afterall.. 2023 will be the last year outsiders will meddle in Lagos State politics. The powers that be in Lagos have finally decided to safe guard our lands and heritage.. Next is to pass laws to protect rightful owners and start reviewing C of Os issued to outsiders. Any Igbo that wants to be politically active should go back to alaigbo and start politics from his village. It's that simple. |
I initially didn't bother about Emefiele till I witnessed first hand how elderly Nigerians were begging and crying for money during the naira swap period.. This Emefiele man na very wicked man o, forget all his pretence looking for pity party. The number of Nigerians that died during that period go pass 1 million. |
This one I'm seeing 36 -38yrs as Ministerial nominees.. aren't they too young considering the age range of civil servants they'd be working with?. The average age range of Directors and Perm Secs should be 53 - 60 yrs. |
With Russia now looking towards Africa, the former colonialists who don't want Africans to break free from their chains will be jittery. I mean all the resources are in Africa but someway, somehow African currencies do not have value and Africans are still largely poor. Maybe those with P.hD in Economics can explain to us better cos me I am not understanding the magic going on. |
@OP So what is your point?.. that you feel their parents are bad doesn't mean the kids can't turn out well. They are Nigerians with rights just like you whether you like it or not. |
Reno omokri rightly said it that South West is the economic superpower of Nigeria.. a Yoruba even without much education is far more wiser than profs. and doctors from certain parts of the country. Monday is 'ojo aje' in Yoruba culture so no way a true Yoruba will joke with Mondays to the point of locking their means of livelihood on Mondays. Contrary to the popular belief that Niger Delta oyel is what's feeding Nigeria from likes of Ankio Briggs,Yorubas are actually the ones sustaining Nigeria as of today. Check statistics of multi-dimensionally poor states in Nigeria and do the maths. |
Na now Kamala Harris day break ba?.. I thought she was happy snubbing Nigeria when she visited Africa. I guess she is expecting us to clap or go gaga over her phone call to President Tinubu. |
Kanu is gone.. so pe otilo. |
The first ever bloody Military coup in Nigeria on 15th January, 1966 was masterminded by mostly Igbo soldiers to seize power.. no matter how you plan to rewrite history, we the reasonable ones know Igbos planned the coup well for Aguiyi Ironsi (an Igbo) to become Head of State. Nzeogwu even admitted in one of the interviews he granted after the coup that killed Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Akintola and many others that Ironsi was his boss and that he was still very much under him. Having studied Igbo behaviour myself for a while now, I realize they do things without first thinking of the repercussion and consequences. How on earth will you go on killing spree of leaders of other ethnic groups and expect them not to retaliate?? We saw how the whole thing went down and the killings upon killings that followed. The position they killed others for, they still didn't last there. Ironsi spent just 6 months as Head of State before the Northern soldiers killed him in a counter coup. |
Source?.. Competence over ethnicity. |
Peter Okoye should carry Lola and the hybrids they have together back to alaigbo and let people rest.. He can't continue making waves in Yorubaland yet still be attacking Yoruba style of governance. |
Alex Otti a.k.a Tallest.. Why is Abia always looking untidy? |
EagleSquare1:I agree.. the Health sector especially is key. |
Very much expected.. Umahi is still one of the loyal APC faithfuls that stood by Akpabio. |
Cooly100:Kwara is a Yoruba state but Ilorin is like melting point for different tribes including Fulanis. There are other places like Edu in same Kwara state that house the Nupes (tapas) and more. Kwara is still very peaceful than any of your 5 SE states and that should be your main concern.. how a multi-tribal state like Kwara can be far more peaceful than your so much exalted South Eastern states. |
Na Wike nomination dey pain dem so.. H.E Nyesom Wike should sing "as e dey sweet us, e dey pain dem" on the day of his Ministerial confirmation. |
See my baby Oshoala.. It's a good feeling seeing her excel at world stage. Talents just full Nigeria anyhow. |
They should scrap Humanitarian and Disaster Ministry and return the workers there to VP or SGF Office. the top priorities should be Finance, Industry and Defense. |
Lord knows I won't rest till the two dogs turn cripple.. I'll make sure I break like 2 out of 4 legs they have. |
Makes sense.. H.E Nyesom Wike is a true Niger Deltan so he will have a strong hold of Niger Delta Affairs. |
I just like this Putin man, dunno why. The guy loves Russia and loves his people no doubt. If only African leaders can emulate him and stop acting like prostitutes to all and sundry. |
Niger republic people really had a swell time siphoning Nigeria's common wealth.. they should probe this Nigeria Air very well alongside the money racketeering of Emefiele. Anyone with questionable citizenship or ties with neighboring countries should forget presidency in Nigeria going forward cos it won't fly. PBAT should ask Niger republic to bring money for the railway entering their country else they forget it.. there are pressing issues that need money in Nigeria, not some railway to a third world country. |
For that to happen.. we need to redesign our access roads to have bicycle routes else those crazy drivers will end up knocking so many bicycle riders down on the major roads. |
Na people like Asari fit IPOBs.. those that will speak in the language they understand, not the overly soft ones in Lagos allowing nitwits to be derepping them in their own state. |
No Lagos?.. I see Mr. Ambode coming. The Jagaban of Africa truly knows politics. Congratulations to H.E Nyesom Wike.. From Rivers to Federal Cabinet to the World. The kind trips wey the man go enjoy for Federal ehnn. |
FFK most lilely opted out of Ministerial post.. there are other juicy appointments he can select from e.g Ambassador to one correct country where he'll go and chilax. The person I am really happy for is Wike, the man made a tough decision that has finally paid off. The likes of Ortom that queued behind Obi are nowhere near politics today. Big moral lesson.. no permanent friend or foe in politics, just interests, so don't go about hurting others over politicians. |
What are you people planning bayi?.. abeg let Igbos be, allow them breathe. |
helinues:Nope.. they are not. Government won't give you money but will put right policies in place for ease of doing business with the hope that the Nigerian workforce benefits on the long run. The livestock farmers have been looking for advantage other sectors don't get. They don't want ranching and don't want government policy that bans open grazing. I hope you can connect the dots. |
