Please has anyone evaluated a diploma from redeemed bible institute. After the programme, post graduate diploma in theology with merit was written on the certificate. Does it qualify for a diploma with wes. The transcript is about to be sent to wes but we are contemplating registering for a diploma with open university all in a bid to qualify for 2 or more degree. |

So does it means that 11 months of Nysc can be calculated as 1 years(coy didn't want to include camp month) stonecoldcafe: You have gone on and on about this question. Why not do what's truly in your mind and give yourself peace. If you feel like declining the ITA, please do. 450 is a high score anyway. You'll probably get invited again in the next round.
In my case, by March 5, I clocked 2 years at my current job. I had 1 year at a previous job.I got into the pool February ending with the exact months I'd worked which was like 2 years and 11 months. I had it in mind I'll update my profile by March 5th to reflect 3 years.
Guess what, same day CIC calculated my score with 3 years. End of story.
[s] I understand your fear though, mine was a matter of days while yours is 3 months. Please follow your heart[/s] |

KayVann: I was also asked to provide tax clearance for my business for which I had not remitted tax, I payed for the 3 years on the same day after an ADR was requested for, i have my gotten my ppr. So to answer your question, I don't think it matters as long as you can provide your TCC. Thanks. Please i also use my personal account for the inflows from my customers. Do you think this can suffice or will it pose a problem? I use a business name for my cac not limited liability company |

bigfido: I don't think you need to submit corporate tax clearance. Your personal tax is equally important. That was hat I submitted. For corporate account, I submitted 1 year account. I also highlighted payments from my corporate account to my personal account as monies earned. @bigfido i want to claim 3 yrs of self employed but i am yet to pay for my personal tax for the 3 years in question. If i pay it now, will it be obvious to cic that i just made the tax payment or it doesnt matter. |

XX01: They will. You will end up having to do it twice. If the school is in Enugu and they have been receiving others from Enugu then yours emanates from Lagos. It will raise a red flag. Well according to wes they know there are times the school gives the transcript to the applicant and so they have explained on their site what to do when you are given your transcript. I dont think the location of dispatch is relevent. If you are in doubt, contact them Well check the screen shot

olajide21: Good explanation....
Amazingly though, there is a particular lady in part one (would love if anyone could refer us to the particular page) who only had almost 90% of her PoF transfered to her account days before the expiration of her application. She did not submit any LoE nor SoA and she got PPR in record time. Bottom line, pray for Gods favour as you strive to do the best within your means. IRCC has a set of requirements for all documents required, once fulfilled you are good to go.... #Godsfavourisparamount #unpredictableIRCC Check posts by feygbe |

BlackMimir: Guys, How true is the claim that immigrants struggle to find work in Canada despite their qualifications? Apparently, due to the lack of Canadian Experience, immigrants settle for survival jobs. I'd like to know so I'd weigh my options between Aussie and Canada. cc @XX01, @Canadianfly, @vcole, @zandora, @optionese, @40manlappy It depends on a lot of things Your flexibility :how ready you are to embrace change in career. Nigeria being a developing economy, has some jobs /career that fits its thriving nature while those kinds of job will be a mismatch for a Canadian economy vis a vis the labour market. Solution :before you travel, research on your career and see if you need to change path and if possible, inquire and certification that you can start even while in Nigeria. An example of this is business Analyst roles. If you have this certification, you get a job on time as compared to being a civil engineer Bridging programs:even if your career is on high demand in canada, you might still need to take some courses, diploma, etc(like a back to school approach) so that you can gather the Canadian school knowledge and if possible volunteer to gain on the job experience no matter how little. ]CV layout :you do be surprised that the way we nigerians jam pack our cv with multiple experience is a far cry to what is deemed professional in the Canadian labour market. If you learn the ropes on writing a cv the Canadian way, who knows how fast your offer letter can come. Entitlements : the total package for child benefit is set to be increase by 200 cad and 500 cad in 2018 and 2019 respectively. (money is important) Family ties: Australia is at the far end of the world and one needs to consider how closely knitted the nigerian society in Australia are. When you consider the way this thread increases, a time is coming when you will see a large population of nigerians in canada. For me sha Canada is the way forward |

TEECANN: Merci @Kontagious...
Beautiful thing you and I and alot of people here know the bolded above...that you don't need to have a financial degree to write and qualify for ICAN and also people make career switches...but the question is: Will the Oyinbo VO understand it they way we do here?...
Their system is different...maybe they can relate with the career switch argument but how do we explain that you are working with a professional certification different from.your 1st degree in a totally different field from day1 after graduation?
That's why I want to ask you will it be still "oversabi" to include the ICAN certificate (though earlier uploaded to them), ICAN transcript along with the philosophy certificate & transcript with a Letter of Explanation (in XX01 words) in "short and precise" words.
Why all this? The reason being I fear to give the VO an opportunity to slam NOC/Education mismatch on my application under the guise of a flimsy reason as this. He will be quick to forget that I have an MBA and ICAN if I submit Philosophy certificate and transcript to him and firstly he goes straight to view my NOC and says this doesn't jive. (These Oyinbos can be unpredictable and funny at times)
All the same, I'll go with the general consensus. This is my e-family...family watches out for family Yes oyinbo man understand. Even in ACCA, an engineering graduate or Anatomy graduate or whatever degree can register and after having satisfied the major requirements of the certification, affiliation or membership status is conferred on the individual. Kapish! |

Please how do i correct this error whilst trying to register for ielts?
I didnt include my middle name while filling the form thereby thereby making the name on my passport more than what was registered on bc database.
Should i just let the 5 days of cancellation take effect (ie cancellation if payment is not received)
Or i should fill another form with different email address
I have been calling their office but couldn't get through |

cochtrane: I don't think there is. If you feel you've made an error, you should raise a CSE instead. @cochtrane @ There is a method. I saw it on a whatassp forum try this. 1.log in to you cic account 2.go to check submitted application 3.look at your url or adresss bar in browser 4.you will see the link as.... DocumentTosubmit.do 5.replace only these words with applicationChecklist.do The rest of the url will remain the same. 6.press enter.
