With you as PA, LRWS;8777 and your spouse 7777 and both Masters degrees accessed; you have 450 CRS points.

With your spouse as PA and applying the same parameters, you guys are at 435. Adding TEF will definitely boost this but why waste that money?

I think what to do now is for both of you to write IELTS, whoever has the better score should be PA. If he has the better score, he can be PA.

Another advantage of him being PA is that you guys can try out the Quebec EE. Their POF requirement is less than half of what Federal is demanding

But for the Quebec, it might take 2-3 years before you finish. They are as slow as the snail.

Good evening all, please I do need an assistance to the following query.
If I put 2 jobs under work history for a principal applicant and also 2 jobs under work history for the spouse, will I be asked for references for the jobs?

Be ready to provide work references for all the jobs you put in work history as a primary applicant.

But as a spouse, ordinarily, you shouldn't be asked to provide work references for your jobs(no point is even attached to spouse years of experience except if it was acquired in Canada) but some visa officer can ask for it just to corroborate your stories/application

To avoid this buhaha,

When filling your profile before ITA, fill only work history for the principal and none for the spouse. Then when you receive ITA, you will then fill that of spouse under Personal history

Please house what's the tie breaking rule? Make una no vex o biko

I have an existing EE profile that will expire next month cos hubby initially wasn't keen on the canny stuff and did not do ECA or ielts and my score was low based on age and low ielts. But I've aced ielts now, hubby too has done ielts, waiting for ECA which will give us CRS score of 441.

My question is, do I withdraw the existing EE profile and create another one or should I wait for it to expire next month then create it again?
Or, should I just wait for hubby's ECA to be ready before diving into the pool?

Thanks.

Tie breaking rule explanation

If I have a profile that I opened on the 20th of June and at present my score is standing at 441 and the draw holds and the draw score is 441 and the tie breaking date is June 21, since I entered the pool before 21 June, I will receive ITA, but if my friend with the same 441 score entered the pool on the 22nd of June, he will not receive ITA.

Sooooooo.dont delete your profile, the next draw date is September 5, so update your profile to reflect your present situation. Keep your fingers crossed and wait for the profile to expire on its own.

I hope you understand my explanations.

Yes, since there is proof of marriage between your wife and you(marriage certificate) and you are an accompanying spouse, there is no issue

Please I need your help. I had already started my certificate verification with WES before I realized ACCA diploma could help my points, infact WES has already sent the verification letter to my school already. Please how do i get them to verify my ACCA diploma also?

I have sent them a mail for over one week now asking how I can include my ACCA diploma certificate for verification but no response. I'll appreciate your advice. Thanks a lot.

Go to their 'contact us' page fill a Request for what you want, you can also call them and they will let you know if they had seen your earlier mail sent to them.

Include your BSc certificate when you wanna submit (post-ITA). Merge your BSc certificate, MSc certificate, IELTS result and ECA certificate as a single PDF file and then upload in the education placeholder.

Can one use the online eca in pdf form or must one wait for the physical eca document from wes when one is submitting application.

You have mistaken the certificate in business accounting (cert BA) for operational module level. There are 4 stages in cima

1. Certificate in business accounting
2 operational module
3.managerial module
4.strategic module

What we are discussing is certBA. (there are prices according to tiers, africa falls into tier 3 and price is £55 per paper

Dont go and register for another module ooo

Those that wants to write CIMA certificate in business accounting, 4 papers

Registration fee £77
Exam fees£55 *4=£220
Total =£297 ~N143,000(confirm your self)

Materials are sold but expensive : around £960 for the 4

But i found this site www.astranti dot com. He has summarised notes, exam kits and mock questions all for free.

You must be ready to dedicate time and be ready to read and master the exam questions techniques and even the syllabus.

I think paper f1-f3 in ACCA is easier than this cima. But it seems the hard way seems to be the only /fastest way for now.

The exam is administered by pearson vue centres so you can write your exams at any time you wish.

Physical calculators are not allowed as only the onscreen calculator is being used.

But if you are an efiko, you can do it in record time.
If you want to land in canada on time, you can do it.
If you read Economics or anything related, Paper BA1(first paper) will be a walk in the park.

I have personally tried to attempt some of the mock questions. Not bad in my opinion.

Just dedicate time to it.

All these info I got from Google including the snaphot of the husband claiming his wife got 1 year college certificate evaluation from wes.

The trick is that if a qualification is uk / European based, there is a high probability of positive evaluation from wes.

Hope I have tried?
Oya you too press google grin

Thanks jare. My children decided to follow each other so i had another one in 2013. Then followed by the need to stay back at home to help one of my boys with developmental delay. So i went to learn how to sew. Registered a business name in 2014. I tried going back to full job in 2016/"2017 but i didn't stay for long. In one company i stayed 3 months. The owner was verbally abusive so i left. Then got another place in January 2017. I stayed for 4 months then later went to face my sewing business squarely.

I have tried seeing the angle of using delf employed but sewing falls under noc 6342 and my customers pay into my personal bank account which will be difficult to proof to visa officer that it is really a business. . If only jan 2017-, 2018may. that is 1year plus.

Yes cos service dates in GTB won't be up to one year. NYSC is one year, but one month is spent in camp/ settling into PPA and service year ends one month before the documented end date. So longest time you could have spent in GTB is 10 months.

What did you do immediately after December 18 2012? Did you by any chance go and work in one of your uncle's companies?

Also, any possibility that the break between 2011 and January 2012 can be interpreted as unpaid maternity leave?

That one isn't even the issue. The issue is the fact that we haven't seen NOC that matches it. Also, the one year experience is not continuous. My take is that the GTB experience is her best bet. @flosk can you go the route of doing a notarized self-declaration of your job duties? People abeg comment on this abeg. Let's proffer a solution.

Cic has a direct link to the hr in gtb. If the dates on my notarised letter don't match with the response of gtb hr when contacted by cic, there will be issues. Something similar happened to some gtbank staff last year and cic banned them for 5 years (their supervisor did a notarised letter for them which didnt match with that of the hr response

I'm just seeing that. Where did they get the idea to provide NOC for you? Wetin concern them concern your NOC? Do we use NOC in Nigeria? Can't you request them to edit that out of the letter that it's inaccurate information? Otherwise an LOE should cover this, that we don't use NOC in Nigeria and the person who wrote the letter is not properly informed and so put a code that doesn't match your job duties.

Only the applicant can determine their NOC, even the people in charge of NOC will not impose any NOC on you.
Requesting for a new one without noc 1111 is not the issue but the real issues are:

1. The job description doesn't match any noc (can you think of anyone
2. The one year as a total is split between 2 periods( ie 1 month in 2011 and 11 months in 2012.

The letter looks good to me. It contains all the required information, non? Maybe I'm missing something?

442 as CRS score also looks good to me at least till September when scores will start their end of year ascent. Get in the pool ASAP because of tie breaker and your birthday. Or is there also some reason I'm missing why you haven't already entered the pool? Since 442 would have long gotten you an ITA.

What was in the letter didn't match any Noc plus the year I entered, they discovered i was pregnant so i spent a month in 2011 then they told me to come back and join the next batch in 2012. You can check the letter for clarity.

Good morning all.
This is just a suggestion. Please don't crucify me.
Can someone please use IQAS or ICES OR ICAS to test this ACCA, F1 - F3 matter.
I know you all are running away from the long processing time.
However, it is better to get a good evaluation in a longer time than use WES and get an unfavourable evaluation. (Lawyers who used WES for their LLB can testify).
WES and this ACCA matter is making this thread move fast. Its 217 pages already.
Have a blessed day.

Iqas does not evaluate professional certificates
