1Please is there any one who did nysc with gtbank that has been able to get a reference letter from them

2.I also did a graduate trainee programme with a multinational but when i got the reference letter it was not useful see below.

3.My husband's eca with the redeemed bible institute didnt get a positive evaluation because wes claimed that the college is unrecognised so he is back to only bsc and he wants to apply for eor with BC.

4. I have 2 or more degrees with a good ielts score but work experience is my issue.

a. I served with gtbank during nysc( but the hr guys are proofing difficult)

b. The multinational i worked with as a graduate trainee gave me a work reference which i already posted.

c. Other places where i had worked were for 3 months, 4months.

d. My birthday is 22nd june.
e. If i have just 1year experience, my crs will be 442

Please any help or suggestions are welcome

I called Wes just now regarding the ACCA stuff. After getting off the hold, He said he can't really give a definite feedback. That I'll have to send the credentials for evaluation. I explained to him about someone having F1-F3 as 1year and another as 1semester. His response was that various factors could have resulted in that. So he can't really assure me of anything.

For those that did the evaluation for F1-F3, did they both complete the professional ethics module?

There is a cima qualification called

Cima certificate in business accounting.
4 papers cbt mode

Wes evaluates it as one year college certificate.

Another alternative to Acca.

You are lucky he even accepted to register and write the test. You need to read several reports here of wifeys who will give arm, leg and do vigils to convince their dear husbands (DH) to sit for IELTS or evaluate their credentials in order to boost CRS. These men are scared of leaving their sweet pay and certainty and jump on a ride into uncertainty.

"8777" IELTS maxing out is not the minimum, people strive for that golden score nowadays in order to boost CRS in this era of high-end draw cutoffs. If other factors such as a Msc, age, french test, sibling in canada etc are in place, an averagely good IELTS score will just be OK to do the CRS magic.

Only him can answer that question with total conviction. Other things to consider? Who did he write with? Ielts or MOD? The timeframe of 12 weeks versus a week or so of remark comes in here. Cost implications etc
Who is the principal applicant? His score is actually fair for an accompanying spouse. All this should help you decide.

He is the PA. He wrote with bc. He writes very well but i think He didn't master the ielts trick.

The annoying thing is that while he was preparing, he didnt allow me coach him neither did he accept my advice of using ieltsliz or jay or whatsoever.

From all the results i have seen today even from the ielts thread, 6.5 in writing is the norm for IDP.

My advice to potential test takers :

BEWARE OF IDP

the devil you know(bc) is better than the angel you are trying to know(IDP)

I'm not forcing anyone. One year with possible strikes and project defense, missing results? Most folks on ACCA are doing it for migration points. If u know what french learning entails eh..

As in, after 2 sections with alliance francaise, i disappeared joor, class starts 9-4pm(weekends) . Stressful. You will need to learn close to a year before you can be confident of writing TEF sef Wanted to go through quebec route then.

In my opinion, acca f1-f3 is still the BEST route ( i have written 14 papers in acca f1-f9, and the 5 Ps so you can trust my advice.

I have been following you guys silently ever since I started encouraging my younger ones to apply and come over. Your suggestions are the "bomb" and always on target. I salute your resilence and sometimes wish my siblings have such tenacious approach to this journey. I guess they will read this thread later because I introduced them to it yesterday.

My younger sister knows basic French and I want her to use it as way to boost her scores, she is currently at 439 (based on IELTS max simulation). Does anyone here have info or link on TEF approved centers in Nigeria? I asked Google but not sure of the websites I saw.

Keep pushing guys and all will end in praise.

There is a center at ikeja (Alliance francaiz) beside vinning anglican(use Google for correct address)

Congrats to all ITA Choppers! it is well with you. Based on the information here, i decided to submit my ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1- F3, I had exemption in F1) to WES for evaluation. My evaluation came out as college-level certificate (one semester) and i contested it but they still said its correct. I am now trying to look for alternatives to improve my CRS score after maxing out IELTS because that is not eligible for Two or more degrees. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

If possible, write to acca that you will like to waive the exemption and write f1 for knowledge sake. You can even call them on the phone now. Then reassess with wes. Let us know what they say on the phone.

How many other papers have you written?

I am not a kill joy but will like to state this concerning the pof matter.

The reason for asking for pof is for a Canadian immigrant to have SOMETHING to fall back on when He/she gets to canada especially in circumstances where it is difficult to get a job.

I have personally accessed my 25% pension 3years ago and according to the law, the remaining 75% cannot be collected until retirement age.

So it is difficult to access the whole 100% even if one leaves Nigeria.

Waive means not accepting the exemption and then writing the papers so he meant writing 2 papers

At times, it take 2 - 3days for the completion date to show on profile (this happened in my own case)

I was expecting 2-3 after verification for my spouse too and it came exactly on the verification date.

Simply because your bank needs to pay salaries of your friends and relatives who are bankers

I got a very dissappointing result for my ielts. This is my third attempt and i really prepared for the exam but to my dissapointment the result is worse than the previous ones.

I had Listening 7
Reading 6.5
writing 6.0
speaking 6.5

i have wept my eyes out. Please i think something is definitely wrong because i studied hard for this exam. i used the jays youtube session, studied with ielts buddy and ieltsliz. i am thinking of applying for remark. kindly advise if it is really worth. what is the cost and process. thank you.

Dont be sad. One of the people we all celebrate here told me personally after he got his ppr that he wrote ielts 7 times (imagine that)

This is what you will do:

cry out(for emotional release)
Then calm down
Strategize on how you will approach your next exam
Go to youtube to practise in order to improve on your weak areas

I personally think you need an overhaul on your English in general as your range is around 6.5. And you need to move to a range of 8 - 8.5 in this canada voyage.

Listening :practise on you tube with cambridge materials(google mistakes people make in ielts listening exam). Also take note of generally mispelt words in ielts

Speaking: (get samples of questions and answers and practise them before a mirror or someone with listening ears (i will also attach a pdf of questions and answers for you. (i couldn't attach as promised but i have put the screen shot here so that you can search for it on Google)

Writing (try ieltsmaterials dot com) they have lots of various styles of writing ( i enjoyed using their materials

Reading: (take note of true, false or Ng question types. Practise with academic module and later on the general module and you will discover how easy is it to pass reading exam

Go to Nigeria open university and register for a postgraduate diploma of any course of your choice . Application and payment closes on the 18th of this month. I read here that if you choose to complete a pgd with them, one stands a chance to finish by december.. This will add additional marks to gain 2 or more degree s

Not the Wes I know. I doubt whether Wes would respond positively to such query. They may ask him to submit an application/transcript for evaluation, after which they can deduce what his fate will be. Aren't they in business as you and I? Telling him/her what the outcome will be without seeing transcript will be tantamount to guess work. No serious organization does that.

Anyway, you can do them an email before burning cash! I understand where Elfmann is coming from.

Thanks i didnt pay additional fee, i simply modified the assessment by adding the diploma to it on the wes account.
