Anyone with idea of NOC code to use for the position of an IT support officer in a bank ? Though the closest to this seem to be computer hardware engineer; just wanted a second opinion from someone with experience or otherwise.

Check noc 2282 or 2281

Hi Flosk,

Marvi isn't self employed ooo. ....His LVO was London & they check EVERYTHING! So they found out his Facebook account had 'self employed' (you know how you don't pay attention to some things if you're not so much into social media)....so they asked for explanations, alongside his tax clearance and co, just to be sure.....

@ Marvi, you owe me undecided grin

Waoh, thank you so much @toyogirl

Investment dates I meant.

On the GT's reference letter. How did you request, emails or hand delivered letters? Let's wait on those that got reference letter from GT to weigh in though.

For the NYSC, I would have assumed the letter will cover period of NYSC (that which is on the NYSC certificate). @Feygbe, can you please confirm date stated in your reference letter.

Thanks @kontagious, i have been talking with someone in hr and was like they dont give such a letter to ex corp members

@kontagious congratulations
Please about your pof, was it the investment date or the value date on the treasury bills that you meant when you were referring to in your long post.

2.Nysc experience is not up to 12months because of the orientation camp period. How have people been able to calculate their nysc perood?

I did mine at gtbank and i am finding it hard to get a reference letter from them

Please how can i go about it

Thanks

Just finished school, hoping to get my certificate next year so that I can put things in perspective. thanks though.

I have read your story and other people's contribution.
My advise to you is this :go to the Canada express entry column and read up .Canada permanent residency program makes sense but you need to have at least 1 year of work experience to be qualified. It might take a while but keep working at it, one day you will get to Canada which in my opinion is way better than USA.

At this point you will need to start saving money for you to complete the processing.

Business / Re: Money-saving Tips For Surviving The Recession by flosk: 5:51pm On Sep 05, 2016
1. Change from your Brazilian hairs and extensions and buy weavons that are fairly priced.some are sold for N800 and the trick is .... You still look good.

2. You can plait your hair in adimole and buy wigs (800, 1000, 1500 etc) and change your looks as you desire

3.you can buy moderately priced perfumes instead of expensive ones

4. Learn to shave your beards yourself without having to visit the barber every now and then. Or better still , learn to have your hair cut yourself by investing in mirrors in your bathroom so you can have a total view of yourself while you cut.

5.it is not compulsory to buy every Aso ebi being offered to you. Always learn to say no especially when it is likely to strain your pocket.

6.instead of buying imported fruits like apple, kiwi, strawberry, grapefruits, patronize indigenous fruits such as orange, carrot, etc the more you take this the healthier and cheaper it is for you.

6.learn to cook the amount of food you can finish . In this period, wastage is not allowed.

7.for parents , you can look for moderately priced schools around your area if you think you can't afford the present school fees of your children. Remember that when the economy is much better you can always change to grange, international schools and the rest.

I was able to submit my Quebec application, I logged on 11 minutes before 1.30 with a google chrome browser and was assigned queue number 547. Though I had earlier logged in 14 minutes before 1.30 with Firefox .I was assigned 25,000 + .

Summary- God did it for me.
I guess their server allocated numbers randomly.

Hi Iphie, I got misinformed. I have gone to confirm what I wrote about declining an ITA and found out that There is NO NEGATIVE effect on such action.

This is an extract from cic website

[b]Declining an Invitation to Apply

If you decline an invitation, you will be put back into the Express Entry pool of candidates (as long as you still meet the minimum criteria) to be considered in future rounds of invitations.

You may have to take steps to be considered again for the pool. For example, if you got additional points for a job offer but the job is no longer available to you, you may need to get another job offer. Or, if you got married or entered into a common-law relationship, you will have to update your Express Entry profile.

There is no guarantee that you will be invited to apply again. But, if you choose to re-enter the pool, declining an invitation will not have a negative effect on whether or not you could be invited to apply later.

If you do not decline an invitation and you do not apply within 60 days, the invitation will expire and you will have to complete and submit a new Express Entry profile and be accepted to the pool again to be considered in future rounds of invitations.

To re-enter the pool, you must complete a new profile and meet the minimum criteria.

I just didn't want you to miss your ita.

Iphie pls confirm. I read something about declining an ITA. That if one declines an ITA, that one cannot get another until after a year.

Check for the info on cic website.

One or two months salary is the maximum amount that should settle my yearly accommodation obligation. When I stay in this limit, I will not be financially and emotionally stressed few months before it is due for payment.

He simply meant that that the federal government should do something fast about them so that they won't bud and spread.

He said some times ago that this was the way bokoharam started and that The government of the day then treated them with kids glove.

Don't always be biased in analysing what anybody says. Either Apc or Pdp. keep an open mind.
