My thoughts exactly! its better you quote no one or you quote EVERYONE that voted for you, so that it won't look like some peoples votes are inconsequential. We still have the option of voting more than one person, other people i also voted for has been mentioning and showing gratitude (not like i need it anyway), even when flow1759 is the first I'll mention because I'm voting just because of him anyways. Summarily, don't mention anyone at all or you just mention everybody because no one can give you 2 votes.

Mr Ugochukwu Tobiloba Akande really discussed all what not with Miss Lolade b’reastina Nonyashtina.


Her gigantic b’reast was giving my elbow varicose-muscles as it bounced on it whenever the bus galloped. At some point, I thought I had caught muscle pull. I just thought.


“Soon we were at Ore and Lolade spoke Yoruba to me thinking I would respond because I had told her I could speak lightly.

“kini?” I responded.

“je ka lo jewun” She said. The way she pronounced the “je ka lo jewun!” I thought she was insulting my father.

“koni da fun iyalaya e!” I dared not said, lest she attacked me with her "milk missile".

I stretched my elbow as I came down of the bus and we both headed hand in hand to the canteen.

“what will you eat?” She asked.

“Nothing! I am filled” All thanks to Gala, and his elder brother Okpa.

Okpa not Ekpa. Okpa is a “moi-moi look alike” but as thick as a rock menu, it has it origin form Enugu.

Legend has it that One Fifty naira Okpa in the morning could fill one’s stomach all day long.

And there I was with Hundred naira Okpa in my stomach seated.

And there I was sat with Lolade who was offering me a plate of fried rice at the detriment of her purse.

I told her what I needed at that moment was soft drink. Chilled soft drink!

I no know when Orijin com become soft drink oh!

She offered me three Cans of Soft drink,…. I mean Orijin, and I forgot my state of Origin.

“you said your mum was from what state?”

“State?”

“yes! What state?”

“Ok! Enugu state!”

“Enugu? But I thought you said Imo State?”

“yes na! Her father is from Imo and her mother is from Enugu!” Orijin was speaking.












In no time we hit Lagos.

“can I have your number so we can chat up?” I asked the famous question.

“yes!” I don win was what I said in my mind.

“zero eight zero………………………………”


“two what?” I couldn’t get the last two numbers.

“two fvart” She replied faintly.

What she said sounded like “two eight” according to my left ear, it sounded like “two five” according to my right ear, and “two two” according to both ears.

“what did you say?” I asked.

“I said two favrt!” I thought I heard “two six!”, and that was what I typed.















I didn’t call Lolade until I came back to Port Harcourt.

“Snow e get one fine girl wey I sidon near for bus as I dey travel go Lagos” I said.

“eehnnn! where the girl?”

“she dey Lagos na!” I answered, “na Yoruba girl”

“which part of Yoruba?” he asked.

“Yoruba get two part?”

“I mean which State?”

“mehn i don forget oh, but e be like say na Ibadan girl oh!”

“guy you get mind oh! So you wan chyke Yoruba girl?”

“wetin do Yoruba girls?” I queried, “in fact make I call her now!”






“The number you are calling does not exist! Please check the number and dial again!!”

“I checked and dailed again, it still does not exist!”

I replaced the last number with eight and it went through.



“Hello! Lolade! Guess who is calling!”

“hello! o bu onye!” I heard a hard voice from the other ended spoke.

“sorry! Wrong number!” I hung up.

I replaced the last number with two and the number was switch off.

“you sure say no be wrong number the girl give you?”

“she dey craze, na her papa she give wrong number!”











Next day 22 June, at night.

“who give una this soup wey we dey chop so?”

“na Papey!” Junior said.

“Papey again!”

“wetin do Papey?” They asked.

“that beans wey him give us before i travel no podge una?”

“podge us as how?” Junior said, “e no podge us oh!”

“e podge you?” Snow asked.

“no oh! E no podge me oh!” I lied.

“why you com dey ask?”

“nothing oh, I just dey ask!”






“eheeen! Tomorrow na my birthday oh!” I announced.
