I see alot of people dwell on 1 or 2 particular places of work. Despite all the connections they just want to get a spot at the particular place because they hear this and that about the place. No doubt some of this places you mention here are good and pay well. Not to mention names . But we all know the few names of offices that are always mentioned here. Are you aware that there are offices that people don't really know or rather talk about that have money and nice packages than all this place some of us are all dwelling on?

@Flowcool is correct. This issue was on ground before the appointment of Dr. Zacch Adedeji as the Executive Chairman of FIRS. It includes renaming of FIRS. Some of those agencies will then focus on their core mandates. These were ideas documented by the Renewed Hope Policy Committee before May 29th, 2023. Thank you.

To burst your brain, this agenda is from Mr president, while the chairman and members of the committee agreed with Zacch to merge all revenue generating to FIRS during the budget approval and deliberation.

The Committee asked Zacch Adedegi to consult the Senior staffs of FIRS and come up with a way of making this merging a Success to stop Tax leakage in the country.

More 300 staff under way. FIRS will be over 20.000 staff in the next 8yrs of Adedeji because that was what he did in Shuga council. He multiplied their staff strength on arrival.

Zach can employ for Africa. Lol. Mrs. Angel (Director of HRM) screamed for the 100+ that was recruited recently. You know what they told her? They said madam relax, more new staff still still coming in weeks or go to Shuga Council and ask about Zach and recruitment. Lol.

But if the proposed merger worked, I can now lobby for FIRS. Lol

The new chairman reviewed and brought back all bonuses and upfront allowances.

As the grading level is not much.

New entry staffs are given Level 10 and it reads downwards to level 1 which is the FIRS chairman.

4 years × 8 that's 32 years. Not everyone will make it to level 2 and 1 that's the superiority there.

Years of service is 35 years.
If you have Age on your side surely you shall rise to the highest rank.

FIRS mandate you to resume immediately you receive your deployment letter.

Those state Branch has zero powers to assist.

I remember when I served as a Corper and the admin at FIRS office was upset that they have no powers or chance to take their people but Headquarters will be sending new faces to them every year.

1. Determined, consistent and prayerful: I will photocopy my credentials including application letter and attach my certificates, I’ll submit my application directly at chairman office and I will collect the stamp acknowledgment copy. At least they will allow me access. After wish, I will constantly go to the chairman visitors room waiting to see the chairman. At least someone said one can see the chairman from 5pm. I don’t care if it takes me 2 months to see him. I will wait since I have no direct connection. Connect doesn’t fall from sky, you pray and make it happen, be determined if you have no direct connection oh…Otherwise eh…5Yrs you will be hoping on one man that has used your information to empower his people.

I heard during the time of Fowler, a woman usually goes to the Airport everyday to wait just to see Him.

1. Getting FIRS slots is getting tougher recently. He doesn’t pick calls from the senators, HoR or any stakeholders or politicians especially if he doesn’t know you one on one.
2. Their internal posting ongoing. Once they are done, new list will be invited.
3. Your connect can actually go directly to chairman office and be ready to wait over 2hours without guarantee of see him, then go back again until you see him and your problem shall be solved automatically.
4. The new list will be ready in weeks.

I hope my information helps direct someone on how to go about it.

I heard during the time of Fowler Documentation and APL at FIRS was done and shared in a week.

Until NAMI came and changed the process causing such delays.

The New chairman Zacch Adedegi is coming with his own way of doing this recruitment.

Zaach is simple and direct.

Budget got approved on 28th February he called for documentation just in a week.

In Nigeria? Is this supposed to be difficult? Normal normal FIRS normally conducts induction which takes around a week or so for the new intake but we've seen recently, during the last EVC where new intake were absorbed immediately without any induction, in fact you learn on the work, infact there were people that did documentation in Kaduna, away from the head office, some were posted and were told, once you get to your respective state of posting tell the TC you were transferred and not a new staff, so IN NIGERIA, DONT RULE OUT ANYTHING >:

It's possible FIRS Documentation commence today 6th to 7th March.

But what I am not certain about is them sharing FIRS APL to resume work this same month, Has it happened before in previous replacements?
