When you have money in Nigeria or indeed in Africa, 99% of these "issues" are taken care of.

One of my former pastors used to say that there are demons that money can bind. I never knew the meaning until I started stepping into the realm of financial overflow.

Where my house in Abuja is, light has not blinked since Sunday last week. Most people cannot afford to pay rent there. I also have a house in an African country where I spend half the year and I pay the rent there in US dollars. Even the police in that area know that I am not the typical native they see everywhere. When they see me jogging or taking a walk past their checkpoint, they greet me with respect.

These are things that money can do and knowing my circumstances and how they have changed in 20 years, I can compare both sides and tell you categorically that with money, life in Naija can be paradise.

Money has an odour you cannot brush off. You do not even need to be as rich as Dangote to enjoy these things. Just make sure you have at least three to four income streams that bring you 6 figures a month and you are good to go.

it has nothing to do with the skill you got, but with the difficult covid-19 times, everything is saturated.

In that case, when global economy returns to normal, international flights resume and economy of countries resume once again, then the covid-19 induced competition on Upwork will reduce right

A) anyone who wants to open an Upwork account should ask google, they can easily find the solution there, instead of paying 5k for it.
B) unless you have a skill to offer, registering on Upwork is useless... and believe me, in these difficult times, there are countless of people bidding for work, so you better be good at what you do if you want to get work. nobody will pay you if your job is rubbish.
C) just by having your account approved on Upwork, certainly wont automatically guarantee you 300K monthly. you will have to bid for jobs (to bid for jobs you have to pay, it aint free), and if these bids are unsuccessful then thats money down the drain.

so again, unless you have a PROPER skill to offer, dont waste your time on Upwork.

I realised that writing gig has become over over over saturated. Geez I can't even stress the saturation level.

For a mere 10$ writing project that is posted, there are over 12 bids in 6minutes. I wonder if it is so with other skills? I mean that tight competition.

What other skill on Upwork do you think is not saturated, but well paying and worth learning?

Also, should an aspiring writer still be enthusiastic to join upwork
