the fact is society differs. Undoubtedly, punitive measures are meant to make the student a better person. The whites put you in detention so you will have enough time to think about what you have done wrong. On the other hand, the blacks either beat you blue black there by making you a bully and self-destructive. The blacks also throw you in the bush to cut grasses or big tress. Good morning I heard Nairaland does a lot of wonders when looking for people.
In 2009 I traveled from Kwara State to university of Maiduguri for Post utme exams. After the post jamb exams, I decided to wait and worship at the Catholic church on the campus.
At the parish that Sunday, I met a lady whose name I can't remember but we talked a lot and she told me she was from Kaduna. She had a special way she talks that I find very hard to describe. She asked me if I had a phone and honestly I had non then and I even forgot to collect her number too.
I was hoping I would gain admission to the school and would see her again but I wasn't admitted. Later graduated from the University of Ilorin.
