actually it is so funny when a typical nigerian refers to 'royco' as
'Maggi'

ok lets go straight to the point; below are some funny memes of a typical nigerian regarding goods and branding.

1. *MAGGI* - many nigerians refers to any seasoning cube as maggi not knowing that the likes of royco, onga knorr, Mr chef etc are all brands of seasoning cubes.

2. *OMO* - this one 'de tire' me. Imagine someone will come to your shop and say, 'give me OMO' when you give them omo they will say 'noo give me that other one' , pointing at a different brand of detergent.

3. *CLOSE UP* there are are about different brands of tooth paste, but i don't know why people like referring to them as close up.

4. *INDOMIE* hmm... cheesy

girls go sabi this one wella... I think we have dangote noodles, indomie noodles , minimie noodles and what have you. Indomie is a brand and not a General name, noodles is the general name so girls take note wink
