One of Tinubu’s friends from the north said he was around when Akpabio came to offer to lead the impeachment plot against Saraki. The man said that Godswil Akpabio said he is ready to do anything Buhari and Tinubu want him to do. Akpabio said he has started talking to his senate colleagues in PDP to remove Saraki and install a Senate President Buhari will like to work with. Akpabio told Tinubu to give him two weeks and he will see the trouble Saraki will start to face from the Senators of PDP. Akpabio said that he supported Saraki for Senate President because Buhari did not show interest for anybody at that time. Akpabio said that he is ready to join APC immediately. He pleaded with Tinubu to talk to Buhari to stop the EFCC probe of him. He said that his hypertension is getting worse and his wife is in comma in a London hospital because of EFCC invitation to her about her school and hotel in Uyo. Akpabio begged Tinubu to help him because his children are very young. He said that he has pleaded with EFCC to collect his loot like they are doing to others, but EFCC has refused. Akpabio ran to Tinubu after Rotimi Amaechi and APC leaders in Akwa Ibom State refused to listen to him because he is a green snake. He started disturbing them and pleading to join APC in March. Akpabio pleaded with Tinubu to arrange a meeting with Akwa Ibom APC leaders for him to beg them first for forgiveness and to tell them that he is not joining APC to take control of party structure. Meanwhile, one of the PDP senators in Akwa Ibom State told his supporters in Uyo that they will not follow Akpabio to APC and will not join him to impeach Saraki. Unknown persons gunned down a boy in broad daylight at about 1pm, today, at Titogate, along Kashim Ibrahim road in Makurdi, the Benue State capital. Eyewitnesses say the boy was earlier seen talking to three unknown faces who surrounded him before the loud sound of gunshot was heard. The boy was shot in the head and died instantly. The killers, were on foot and took advantage of the pandemonium that ensued to mix up with the crowd and escape. Benue.com.ng gathered that the deceased was a resident of an area behind NUJ house notorious for cult activities and that the killing may have been a reprisal attack. Suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly raped a 15-year-old girl to coma in Owukpa, a suburb of Ogbadibo LGA of Benue state. The victim, who is said to be a daughter of a certain James Odoh better known as Okito from Efu-Ikeri was on her way to Ankpa from Eche-Ememema Secondary school in Ukalegwu alongside her two other friends when the gunmen accosted them and rapped her repeatedly. An eyewitness said after the herdsmen were done with her, they abandoned her in the pool of her blood and fled to the bush. The girl was rescued by a passerby, who took her to a hospital in Aho Ogbo. Unknown gunmen have kidnapped two Indian nationals in Gboko local government area of Benue state. According to reports, Sharma and Srinivas were travelling to Dangote Cement Plc Plant in a car from their residential quarters at around 7.20 pm on Wednesday when a group of armed men kinapped them at a traffic signal. The wife of one of the nationals said her husband is a civil engineer and has been working for Dangote Cement in Gboko for the last three years. “I tried to reach my husband on Wednesday but could not contact him. I called up the officials of the Plant this morning and they informed me about kidnapping,” she said. After suffering for months, on your first harvest, you took to market five solo bags of pepper that fetch you #58,000 at this time that even civil servants are crying of hardship. The following day you go to the farm only to see that your pepper crop have been destroyed with herbicide. Pls what will be your next reaction haven tried all your physical abilities to identify the wicked person that destroy your crops out of jealousy, bt to no avail ? What should he do |
