With the present scenario that turns the indigbos into a pathetic pets appealing for recognition with the incoming government in the face of glaring abandonment that might befall them due their reckless electoral decision in the past election, one needs to learn that making enemies all around and being control by hate subjects a man to a ridiculous pitiable.

A house built on deceit is finally crumbling, I see the total collapse of the party call PDP (people destroying people). The politicians should rise to form a new party that will give a formidable opposition to the ruling APC.

Family › Re: Wife Insisted I Greet Her After She Have Given Me Food by focus7: 6:13am On May 01, 2015
Babyblues:
Its just simple manners, and a way to acknowledge her
I grew up watching everyone say a big thank you to whoever prepared and served the meal, from daddy to kids.

Its not a big deal to me,however if she grew up with this.as a huge part of her life its easy to understand that she may feel unappreciated for all the effort she put into cooking and serving.

I wonder if you'll die if you say thanks darling for the wonderful food.It would also encourage the kids to say thank you as well..there's no harm in it and it's not asking for too much in my opinion.

If she's insisting,it means a huge deal to her..You can choose to indulge her or keep quarrelling.

Say thanks and with time her ears won't be seeking it out because she already knows you appreciate her without plenty words.Blow her a kiss and she will be satisfied.Rub your tummy and give her a thumbs up and you will see her smile.

Simple things
This thread am sure is not for kids, so wait until you are married before you can make an opinion.
Family › Re: Frustrated by focus7: 5:57am On May 01, 2015
Take charge of your marriage, women are not remote control that you expect to pick up, press a button and expect a response. Sometime you just have to make your woman do things the way it should be done without hurting her in the process, with time she will come to live with the reality that you are in charge.

Barcanista is becoming pathetic by the day. The effort you are making to modify your previous post so that they won't be able to make reference to it again is futile since you can't modify the copy. You appear to be less important that you were considered to be.
Family › Re: What Can Be Done To A Troublesome Sister-in-law? by focus7: 9:45pm On Apr 30, 2015
I blame your sister's hubby for the whole things. A man should know how to draw the line between his commitment to his family and his wife and ensure that one does not encroach the other. In the case of your brother in law he has allowed the interest of his family to encroach your sister's interest. What he should have done is to allow the sister go when she treating to pack out or should have sent her out. It is true that it is going to generate tension for his family but it would have serve as opportunity for him to send the message to them that his wife is not meant for the family to rubbish anyhow, him been able to stand to defend and protect his wife at a time like this would have earn him and the wife more respect from his family, whatever tension generated may linger he should stand his ground in protecting his wife, the family tension will douse down and be resolve but then the poor lady would have earn her respect. My opinion is based on my personal experience with my family, today my mum and my siblings regard my wife and she regards them.
Family › Re: Wife Insisted I Greet Her After She Have Given Me Food by focus7:
I don't like it when a spouse is arrogant and a bully irrespective of whether is the man or the wife, whatever we share in marriage should not be compulsive. If it is a must that you should greet him for taking her time to cook which ordinarily should be her obligation with pride, who greets you for taking your own time to source the income for the upkeep of the family. Abeg, me I no dey for this wife bully thing.

Politics › Re: PDP defectors will come back with empty stomach -Jonathan by focus7: 5:22pm On Apr 30, 2015
This is where Jonathan miss it, to think that politics is all about stomach and the few people that surrounded him thus encouraging them to loot public treasure as a way of keeping them, this very idea is what made him lose the sight that the power to chose who rule is with the populace he's not paying attention to. He has calculated that since Buhari will not give room to the defectors to loot they will become hungary and return.
