Iphones are unique for a couple of reasons and these reasons make them valuable thus they do not depreciate like other brands.

1) its os is strictly for its phones only. Apart from being awesome. It makes it exclusive and this adds value to the product. Unlike android.

2) Apple hardly make significant changes to next in line models. Most times they are exactly physically the same with only slight tweaking of internal hardware to boost performance at max 30% better than the predecessor. This is usually lower most times. This contributes to retaining the value of the former model.

3) All Iphones are premium phones and solidly built which is the reason no much significant difference are between immediate next in line models anyway. And they dont make so many models. So naturally it makes it expensive. Although its still overpriced.

4) Apple took advantage of its exclusivity. To build an ecosystem across its range of products, the icloud. This adds value to its products mostly to those that are already hooked.

And ofcourse the Apple factor.

Good day great. People. I have always visited Nairaland as a guest, but I am presently in a serious trouble. Please i need your advice.

I am a married man with a good wife who has been in marriage for 8years, but eith no child. Anyway, I finished my assignment in Nigeria and returned to the US. We kept chatting and for like few weeks, she was complaining of fever. I advised she visted the hospital. She said malaria test was negative and she was advised to do a pregnancy test which came out positive. She said, for the past six months, no man, including her darling hubby has tourched her. Invariably, she says I am responsible for the pregnancy. She called me and she was crying. She told me she had to go for abortion and she was afraid. Can't i see the looming trouble? I said well, she told me she was already planning a divorce so I do not see this causing any problem for her, it will only fast-track her decision. I said as for me, she should leave my side, I would manage it. She said there is no way she can have a baby for me when she still in a man's house and she does not even beleive I have any feelings for her.

Anyway, we have been on this for about three days now. I told her if she decides to abort, she should go ahead, but that would be her decision. For me I would want the baby to be kept. She keeps crying and begging that I should agree to her decision unconditionally. Deep down within me, I do not want to have a child from outside, not even from a married woman. However, I feel something is wrong with this her pregnancy story. I just feel I am been set-up. The reasons for this I do not know. She never demand for money from me. I am just confused about the whole stuff.

From your story i dont think its a set up. Women are extremely hor*ny when they are ovulating they can do some pretty surprising things for the di*ck. Besides what will a married woman with kids gain by telling you that you impregnated her, other than condemnation for you both. Again you said yourself you are a ladies man. You probably made her dream of many years come true.

I think you guys are currently infatuated with each other. For the moment you are physically attracted to each other and also both satisies each others present needs. Trust me, it will wear off.

That woman is married and not just married she has four kids. Even thou she might be having problems in her marriage, it would be morally wrong of you to encourage her to quit , you only know one side of their story and she would definetly spin it to assuage her conscience and also so you would not think she is an indescent woman. Marriage is complex and it is only the parties involved that know exactly what is going on, i am sure you can relate because you are married too. Again dont try to be selfish because you now have a baby you spoil a union because of it.

That said. Understand that if she eventually gets divorced and finally agree to keep the baby, you would not only be connected to her but also her four children and their father for the rest of your life. Consider this carefully.

Finally i think you would be better off if you found a single woman to have a baby for you if this accidental incident has brought new thoughts to you. That way it would be properly planned and it wont bring much problems and pain for people involved. Also the baby will come in a more stable environment.

My wife started behaving strangely immediately I lost my job in April 2017. She leaves home to her mum at the slightest disagreement without even communicating or making to express her feelings; and to worsen it, her mum gives her a great welcome with a room and parlour for her to stay, without even calling me to discuss what the problem. My wife literarily destroyed my image before my in-laws to such an extent that I can't even visit them again. Several lies against me that I did not allow her travel out, I don't give her money, I told her not to have another kid, that I told her not to work, her mother has decided to keep her with her as I speak without even calling me to discuss, even despite all my appeals. She has been with her mum now for almost ten months(my wife is a fully grown legally married faithful woman of almost 40 years)

All these disrespect, probably cos I lost my job two years ago of which I fulfilled all responsibilities to the home. i don't drink, i don't smoke, don't womanise(even till now) I have never beaten her, I never another child out of my matrimonial home, and never impregnated another woman.

Rather than resolve her marital problem by discussing with her husband, she takes it to her family claiming emotional abuse. Fine, I agree I get provoked cos of her persistent shortcomings, and of course, frustration which leads to unguided vocal utterances towards her, but this could have been resolved easily without having to involve her whole family. Now what she keeps telling my family is that her family said she should still hold on at her mum's place. This is the 10th month since October 2018.

The last time my mum went to her mum's house precisely June last month, she was asked if she was still interested in her marriage, and she said yes, that she does not intend leaving her marriage; but we should give her time. Her mother practically told me to go and do something meaningful, and that there is time to marry, separate, reunite and hustle. If the answers to the above questions are yes, then you should realize you married a materialistic woman. Women dont like effeminate men. If i were you. I would stop bitching around. I will call her and tell her that even thou i am down temporarily i will still rise again stronger. I would tell her that her actions now is what would determine her place in my heart when i stand again. I would tell her she should come home now that i need her. Then i would take my mind off her matter and concentrate all my energy on pulling myself back up. If she comes back great. If she doesnt, i'll be pained but atleast i'll have known the type of woman i married.
But whether she comes back or not. I'll stop whining about losing my job and how things were when things were good and i will put all my energy into getting out of my present predicament.

One last thing.
Brother even if you are 56 you are still a young man and can be with any woman yo desire. Your wife at 40 would be lucky to get a decent man.
