PrideofLincoln1: BS i say. Do you know how many countries have rabid hatred for America. So we should occupy all the countries that have rabid hatred for Americans starting from Iran, Yemen, Afganistan, North Korea and many others. Don't fret because we Americans ain't scared of any country because we have Military and Financial wherewithal to deal with our enemies. America is not afraid of any terrorist groups and if they kill one American, hundreds if not thousands of their people will have untimely meeting with their makers. You can best your last $ on that statement. Semper Fi, Always ready. And then a simple pandemic will come back to avenge all those thousands you killed for the crime of one man. If in doubt, check the total casualties of the Iraq war vs total covid fatalities |

The idiot, just like millions of other similar idiots, is probably one of those that condemn Nigeria at every given opportunity. Now that you have an opportunity to travel to "saner climes", the best thing you could do was to disgrace the nation. Sizzorkay: See this silly guy, just jumping to conclusions up and down, lol, random person, in my world, you are irrelevant, hey give the man some pako to chew on, that's a thing too no? no shoes, with pako in his mouth, now that's a pic to frame. You seem pained, I'm typing in English, as do you, yet I'm a Western worshipper? See how daft you are. I was born and raised in that same Nigeria, but i won't curse you in Yoruba, no point. Kid, you got my attention for 2 mins, i don't do groupies and ain't got no social media you can follow, now kindly fvk off and have yourself a wonderful drug free day.
I guess having our kids running around butt naked is also cultural?, get the fvk outta here boy. Up your standards, perhaps we might actually get a little bit of respect around the world, decency matters, and we can practice our believes in a more dignifying ways, there are a million ways we can preserve our cultures without doing things so low level., a governor during an official visit is without shoes, while meeting with a victim of terrorism, and you are telling me that's okay, well it's not. Look at a picture of Buhari in his residence also without shoes, pictures like that shouldn't get out or ever taken. There is another culture out there on the continent where young boys consume semen of Adult men, which is like their own right of passage from being to boy and becoming men, is that also another culture we should respect, or is that not some disgusting sh!t. Bottom line, let's evolve how we do things while preserving our cultures, both can coexist, or get stuck in the stone age, all good But hey, my 2 cents, my bad if that hurt your precious feelings. Indigenous culture, really? . my bad Bye now. What respect are you talking about? We want the world to respect us for our development (which we have not done greatly) rather than for wearing shoes or following EVERY western standards that you think is ideal for humans. So much fuss over someone not wearing shoes. In case you don't know, eating meat and eggs is also very barbaric if viewed from the point of view of other cultures. Go and impeach them if you are that offended. |

abbey621: Surely the jargon you wrote only makes sense to you. Did EndSARS attack government buildings or our Congress? That particular Nnamdi Kanu tweet I reported it myself and it was taken down after several others reported it including those in government. His post was taken down and he created another including several other profiles, stop saying what you don't know just to justify your points. You reporting DJ Switch when millions more were in support of her makes no sense, Twitter will always side with the masses and majority of people on Twitter supported the reporting and are against the actions of the government. You just shot yourself in the foot with this nonsense. How is the attack on your congress any more serious than breaking hardened criminals out and back into the society, destroying livelihood, killing tanker drivers, burning police stations, killing policemen, stealing, arson, etc? There's no way Twitter will aid such a movement in the US without Jack being roasted by the US parliament. By your post, you have admitted that Twitter sides with the masses (in other words, profit) even if they are wrong and dangerous, yet you expect the government to sit back and watch like a helpless child because it's democracy? Lol. What happened to their rules on false information then? Does the need to follow the masses supercede the importance of their rules and the peace of Nigeria? They exercised their power and the government exercised theirs, and its a very beautiful response to corporate tyranny. They should take their madness elsewhere. |

abbey621: Show me the official Twitter account of Nnamdi Kanu and the tweets showing he threatened anyone. Same goes for Trump, anytime Trump had said something remotely close to violence, the tweets were either deleted or his account shadow banned. No system is perfect and you're still missing how Twitter works. People are banned most of the time because their tweet was reported, so rather than being angry at Twitter, ask yourself what could make people so angry about Buhari's tweet? Remove the cobweb from your eyes and perhaps you'll see more clearly. Nothing happened to his account after this tweet and no, Tweets aren't only deleted when reported. That applies to average users like you and I but for someone as high profile and verified as Donald Trump, a report isn't necessary. In the case of Namdi Kanu, many people reported him but no action was taken until after their asses were banned. I also remember many of us reporting DJSwitch for peddling false information but nothing was done and no 72 bodies were found! Even as EndSars was degenerating into chaos, looting and jail breakouts, twitter maintained its support but they took an EXACTLY opposite action when the capitol was attacked. Isn't that hypocrisy? Nigeria can burn but US shouldn't? Their action is a typical example of tyranny. It's the best thing this failed government has done in many years.

Even Islam did worse than the crusaders in the olden days but the difference is that christianity dropped all those things and came out reformed while Islam is still wallowing in violence up till today.
And Reno is here capping trash. Islam did not do worse than Christianity. Go and read. The casualties of Christians in America and Canada alone outnumbers all victims of Islam from the time of their prophet to this very day of Isis and boko Haram |

What I'm yet to understand is how this relates to Boko Haram, etc killing people unnecessarily in this age?! These things started changing when the powers started drifting away from your scriptures. Lol, these religious folks and their stupidity is unlimited. There's no justification for killing people because of faith. Moreover, the Christians even killed minors and adults before they could have a chance to accept the inexistent Christ. abbey621: I don't think you fully grasp the problem here, imagine every social media platform design one set of rules for normal citizens and another set of rules for celebrities/ government officials etc, how would you feel? There's no case of tyranny here when it comes to Twitter, if you went on twitter and directed hate or violence towards anyone you run the risk of being banned, the more popular you are the more the scrutiny because one word or sentence could start war.
Twitter simply stated their platform does not encourage hate, violence or abuse towards ANYONE! If a celeb/governemnt official feels too big or important to conform to their rules then bye bye to jati jati.......The unfortunate thing here is that your government decided to use you and other Nigerians as Twitter's punishment. In a sane world, this would be the bigger issue but in a zoo like 9ja, we have folks like you and the other sule defending your government's action.....Your last sentence really exposes you, I suggest you don't repeat it among intellectuals or the developed world because Nigeria has yet to officially label IPOBS as terrorists . They don't condone threats to anyone right? Very good. Then why did they allow Namdi Kanu's numerous threats to stand? (And only acted after Nigeria's sanction) Why did they allow Trump threats against North Koreans to stand? They only went against him when he started saying things that their ears didn't want. Likew They did what they had the power to do and the government also did what it has the power to do. Why then are you crying? Twitter claims to value freedom of speech but asking a single question about the Holocaust or talking about American atrocities in the middle east can get you banned. They are just tyrants who run to hide behind human rights when faced with superior tyranny. |

Vado: After America dropped A-Bomb out of the blue, many countries have also learned to keep their game changers close to their chest. Nuclear bombs aren’t the greatest cool thing right now. Israel wouldn’t even admit they have one. All these show offs doesn’t make any nation the best. Iron Dome wasn’t unnecessarily shown off but when the time for action came, we all saw what it could do. Every country shows some off and hides some just like Israel. And the Iron dome hasn't really been tested (with decent missiles). |
