TheSuperNerd:
To be frank Ehn.... I don't think Nigeria needs Akpom.

Check out Nigeria's Options in the centre forward position:

(present and near future)

-Odion Ighalo

-Brown Ideye

-Isaac Success (yet to be capped)

-Victor Osimhen (we saw him at U-23 level)

-Sadiq Umar (yet to be capped)

-Aminu Umar (some don't even know he is a CF)

-Kelechi Iheanacho (anytime any day a whiz player in the CF or SS or false 9/AMF roles.. beast player).

-Aaron Samuel

-Fanendo Adi (yet to be capped)

So how is Akpom ahead of any of the above listed players?... The NFF should not waste time with Akpom please. Can they just focus more on Odubajo, Dominic Iorfa, Ehizibue, Ebuehi, And even Adarabioyo and Kigbu?

These are defensive options and defence is Nigeria's archilles heel now. We are well stocked for the next 10 yrs plus in attack and more will still rise and keep rising.... wink

Besides, he didn't consider us all this while till now because he knows he got no chance with England in the long run.

Akpom may eventually agree to play for us but he finds himself behind so many of the above listed players talents-wise.
Please, give Akpom benefits of doubt. Who knows if he could turn out to be better than those players you just mentioned.

We can't judge him now until we see him play after 2 - 3 years. Peradventure, we can access his capabilities as a player but before then let us cap him first before it is too late.

Ajagun says he's ready for Panathinaikos fight

Ajagun

Former Flying Eagles captain Abduljaleel Ajagun has told AfricanFootball.com he hopes to reclaim his place at top Greek side Panathinaikos in the new season team after he played on loan at the second half of last season.

The former Dolphins midfielder featured on loan for Levadiakos, where he played 12 games and he has now said he looks forward to great new season with Panathinaikos.

"I finished my loan deal at Levadiakos, I am back with my club Panathinaikos and I am looking forward to getting playing time when the season gets underway,” Ajagun told AfricanFootball.com

“I am ready to put in my best for the team as usual."

The 23-year-old player, who joined Panathinaikos in the summer of 2013, has two years left on his contract.

He had a great start with the club playing 27 games and 28 games in 2013/2014 and 2014/2015, respectively.

The bias coach turns blind eyes to this player for his mediocre players ko. Imagine Mikel Agu on the list ahead of Abdul Ajagun and Michael Olaitan?

Well, maybe they are on Siasia's list but I am not aware. Anyhow I want to see the full list, before then I must speak out against mediocre, nepotism and na my brother choice of selecting players for the National team.

Nigeria to cap Akpom, Odubajo in September reveals top official
[/size]
https://africanfootball.com//bp_images/2016/06/gp6bhetbq8431e51w9nd2j4f8.jpg
Arsenal Striker Chuba Akpom

Nigeria could cap Arsenal youngster Chuba Akpom and Hull City defender Moses Odubajo as early as in September ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers the following month, a top official has hinted AfricanFootball.com

Both players have represented England at age-group levels, but they are eligible to play for Nigeria at full international level now.

Nigeria will play a final qualifier for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations on September 4 at home against Tanzania and that could be when both players will get their call-ups.

The NFF earlier this year got Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria, and is set to do the same with Odubajo and Akpom.

“We are close to getting Moses Odubajo and Chuba Akpom to play for Nigeria,” the official told AfricanFootball.com

“We are especially excited at the prospect of Odubajo, as he plays in the right-back position which has been a problem for us over the years.”

Odubajo, 22, plays as a right-back or right-forward for Hull City and helped them return to the Premier League at the close of the last season.

He has represented England at youth level, but he is yet to feature at senior level for The Three Lions, making him eligible for Nigeria.

It is a similar case with Akpom, 20, who is with Arsenal but spent the last season on loan at Hull City.

The striker has played for England at youth levels, but is yet to be fully capped at senior level, which means he is eligible for the Super Eagles.

Deceivers trying to distract people's attention from asking why Odubanjo is not included on the list to the Olympics football game while they secretly include their players on the list. Can someone tell me why Muhammad and Ekpolo should be called ahead of him?

They told us initially that Ekpolo Elohor is not on the list but before we say Jack Robinson Ekpolo Elohor is already training with the Olympic team. Na who dem wan deceive?

Siasia u wan play nepotism and na my brother for National team? Ok na, I no dey observe again, I don dey full ground to expose and critics dis............ lipsrsealed

You are a pathetic liar. Nobody pays 35m for house rent in Nigeria. Not even in Abuja.

That being said, Cocaine village is not close to being the most expensive place in PH. Where I stay in woji (which is not a high brow area) I know two people paying over 1m. You have G.R.A old and new and most especially Eagle island where only commissioners and politicians can afford.

Port Harcourt comes after Abuja and before Lagos. In Cocaine Village by Rumuogba Two bedroom flat is above one Million. The same goes for Peter Odili Road, Abuloma. In Most areas, you get 2 bedroom flat for as LOW as 600K. Now consider what 3 bedroom flat will cost in these areas!!!!
If that is the highest rate obtainable for a two bedroom flat in P/h, I am sorry to say P/h na small pikin for were Lasgidi dey for rent.

This is one of the reason we may remain where we are till tomorrow because of brain drain and some people trying to unsettle the country through sponsoring of militancy, terrorism, tribalism etcetera in Nigeria. Because they know once Nigeria overcomes its differences, they will become world power influencing and spurring other African countries to aspire and replicate the same. And we know what that means. Freedom. But unfortunately we are not intelligent enough.....

As long as politicians send their own children to study abroad at the detriment of the schools under their jurisdiction, Nigerian education will continue to nosedive.

I am not saying he is wrong but believe me many will still send their children abroad while in government.

Laws should be made to foster and compel government officials holden elective offices to enrol their children in made in Nigeria university. That's all.

you are talking crap, how can you say unizik and imsu are the best in the east when you have UNN, futo and Umudike?

Imsu is actually one of the worst schools in the east, while Unizik is just one of the best
Hmm! Unizik is second best university in that zone behind UNN. grin Na fact na. Maybe I should have said one of the best universities.

Nevertheless, it still buttress my points when you go through those factors. As you can see UNN no be for unserious students hence the low numbers of applicants.

Students no wan read but want to have certificate. grin

Ilorin is Fulani caliphate, even a newborn baby know this.

Meanwhile, wetin consign ranking and most sorted after, are you high on osogbo weed?
Ok, out of your most sorted only one made the list and the rest are no where near it. What does that tell you? grin

1) these universities(the ones you listed) are the only best in that region no second choice while in the West the best universities are numerous. If you no go UI you fit choose OAU, Unilag or Covenant Uni. All these are at the same level and are far rated highly than the ones you listed.

2) The cut off mark of these schools are higher and it takes only the genius to study in those school. No settling of lectures which... #cough grin

3) Admission is strictly by merit and not by the highest bidders. grin

These factors... grin

Con-federalism is only on paper. 10 Downing street controls all other countries in their so called con-federal system.
I thing that system will be best after doing some adjustments to suit our own heterogenous country.

mikolo80:
Malaysia has 4 million hectare of Palm oil worth about two trillion naira. Only goodness knows how much it makes with value-added. (soap, food additives etc)

How does railways concern states planting food and cash crops.

Is dangote using nepa? Yet states cannot build industrial estates ?
Only oil is in exclusive legislative list?
We sell oil 100 a barrel and oyinbo beer value 1000 dollars a barrel.

You foolishly ignore the opportunity to build refinery and earn 900 and instead focus on 100 lazy no investment dollars?

Do you know what ignorant means?
Can you fiNd it in dictionary or even google?
That's how handicapped you are?
Mentally handicapped and yet you think you sound knowledgeable but you sound retarded insulting someone who did not insult you.
I insulted someone who chose to insult me FIRST.
SO YOU CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE A BASTARD slowpoke FOOL.
Well, I think you tailored your point to leadership which I think is very important but you neglected the other side necessary for electing good leaders.

Let me first of all answer and ask questions from what you wrote above.

You said the land is there for cultivation, right?

Please, tell me I pray you, how many states have 4 millions hectares of land to plant Palm oil?

What about states that do not have Land for industrial agriculture such as Bayelsa, Lagos etc, what should they fall on?

How much does it cost to go for Industrial Agriculture?

What is the federal allocation of each state?

How much will remain after paying salaries, spending on capital projects etc?

Or do they just forget about paying salaries and other important projects and focus only on farming with the Federal allocation?

With such investment, who protects or secures the investment, I hope you are are aware of the herdsmen, kidnappers(you must have heard about Olufalaye) etc?

Is it with the Federal government police that got paid by the Federal government money and that has no stake in the investment, whether the investment fails or succeeds, he kwonchin them?

Who will invest in such hostile conditions?

2, About rail, Don't you know what they call economic right, in fact fundermental human rights (freedom of conscience and thought, right to some measure of economic well being and a good standard of living) where you are free to think big and dream bigger?

Is it a sin to think big and excersice your right or execute your dream?

Don't you think it is a way of improving the standard of living and the economic of a state?

Does the government gives total freedom to build and run a railway system in a state?

Does the other states desires to have such system?

3, Who built Ikeja, Ilupeju, etc industrial estates in Lagos and Oluyole etc industrial estates in Oyo State?

Under which system of government where they built?

4, Can the state produce its own light?

Who frustrated the Lagos State government under the leadership of Tinubu from building one? Why?

Can generator or whatever Dangote is using to power his private business be commercialised?

4, whose duty is to build refinery some years ago and why?

Can the state build one considering the amount left after paying salaries?
