Which one is local technology? How efficient and safe is?
Clown what we have is illegal refineries using well know oil distillation process which is available to Js3 chemistry students in our secondary schools, its not rocket science.
The only reason those illegal refineries are in business is becos they do not pay for the crude oil, they break pipelines and steal crude to refine, that's the only reason they are still into business, not becos of any local technology.
Fools like you just come online to talk trash to sound smart. Take note of the word "formalizing" . Illiterate. |

Then there's is M.Thuram who will be a good addition to squad depth. Imagine after signing all these sporting directors & still we ain't moving at a good pace in this window , it's sad . Onana na world class. With our pressing game and build up from the back, he is the best for the job. Boy too good. |

charlesemeka85: English Premier League (EPL) clubs have been granted the freedom to directly sign young Nigerian players without needing prior national team involvement or work permits, Soccernet.ng reports.
According to the FA updates, the Premier League clubs, which include Manchester United, Arsenal, and a host of others, have been granted permission to sign 18-year-old players directly from Africa or Asia or North America.
This means that the June transfer window will begin using the new Governing Body Endorsement Criteria for foreign player visas.
This historic decision opens up exciting opportunities for Nigerian footballing talents, allowing them to showcase their skills in one of the most prestigious leagues in the world.
The exemption from work permit requirements for EPL clubs aims to level the playing field and ensure fair competition with European counterparts.
Previously, strict regulations disadvantaged English clubs, leading to inflated prices when acquiring young talents who had to fulfil national team obligations first.
Nigerian players have long been known for their exceptional talent, flair, and athleticism, captivating football enthusiasts worldwide.
With this new ruling, EPL clubs can tap into Nigeria’s rich pool of young football prodigies, providing them a direct pathway to the global stage.
The likes of Charles Agada, Jude Sunday, and other promising Nigerian talents could soon be gracing English stadiums, thrilling fans with their skills and showcasing the vibrant spirit of Nigerian football.
The impact of this decision extends beyond the individual players. It has the potential to transform Nigerian football by inspiring aspiring players and raising the profile of the sport in the country.
Exposure to top-level training facilities, coaching expertise, and the opportunity to compete against world-class talent will propel Nigerian youngsters to new heights in their footballing journeys. Link |

Grayoso: 100% correct. We cannot seek to go from a third world country to becoming a developed nation without embracing fundamental reforms.
I for one, always frown at how most complex civil engineering projects in Nigeria are handled by foreigners.
The truth starring us in the face is that this situation is so because we do not train graduates who are as good as other in certain disciplines.
Now imagine, as you hinted, modern reforms of our University sector that will mean it can produce the sort of civil engineers, as good as any worldwide, who are competent and skilled enough to handle major projects in Nigerian and in other African countries?
We really need to begin looking at the big "teach a man to fish" picture instead of remaining a lazy and unambitious people only interested in being fed inadequate and miserly portions of fish forever. That's it. Quality education that will translate to infrastructural development and economic development. No more using money to buy handouts for grade or bribing lectures for mark because Lectures and professors will earn more salaries that will enable them to concentrate on teaching and carrying out research instead of money to pay house rent, their children schools etc. This is time to embrace this policy. Universities should generate funds by themselves to develop themselves. No more strike which will boost the image of our universities to foreigners outside Nigeria and those expatriates that send their children abroad due to our low quality of education. In Ghana, expatriates educate their children in Ghana instead of sending them abroad. This will create competition and expose our youths to foreign cultures. Those running to uk or abroad will reduce knowing you can graduate at the appreciate year without being disrupted by consistent strikes. |

Flets: Government to compel employers when fuel and diesel price have ran most small and medium organizations out of business? Do you guys really think through these things you say? Do you know the challenges of running business in Nigeria?
What is obtainable in most countries are not obtainable here. Your manufacturing sector is dead...... where do you want to manufacture these employments from? That is what is obtainable in those countries Nigerians are running too. Actually, before starting a business that will make you employ workers, you must provide salaries for period of time or months you think your business can start profiting enough to pay salaries. If not, run your business by yourself. |

Flets: Please which jobs will pay Nigerians per hour?, government provided jobs or private sector?..... today's Nigeria has unemployment rate at 35% but you make policies and assumptions that does not reflect Nigeria's reality
Every sector in Nigeria has immense corruption going on but you expect the universities to get more money and utilize it properly without looting? Which planet una come from sef? ....... Government universities with more money at their disposal are not same with private universities managed by its owner, watch out for the level of looting in Nigerian universities going forward. I said the salary should be reviewed to pay per hour. The law must compel employers to pay employees according to the minimum wage per hour. Whether public or private sector. This is obtainable in most countries. Here employers are profiting big time but pay little. This must change. |

SalamRushdie: We told you Student loan was just trick to get you to accept unaffordable tuition..Many of you are about to never get university degrees again. Will the loan be limited? That's what is obtainable in the so called U.K and American universities Nigerians are running to. Once the standard of education is sustained in Nigeria, we can attract other African students to bring their money to study in Nigeria. Our Universities must be well funded by generating funds through tution fees to attract foreign students. Of course, I expect government to also create scholarship schemes for genius students. This system adopted by FG is ongoing in U.K, America, Brazil, Canada etc but you think Nigerians shouldn't adopt it because they will be poor forever. The next step is to review the minimum wages to per hour. That will enable students to pay their dept |
