Meliforme: Let me show you this one as i believe his decision not to mention Ejuke's name as the player that created that scoring opportunity is somehow a mistake.
Please first read my response to his post, then you can make out my point. I watched the match on NTA. The camera was poor and I could barely see. Though I watched the replay but I didn’t see the one who passed the ball. In fact, it was not part of the point. What is your point? |

DrKlever: Yen yen yen. Ighalo at what age? Osimhen is a young player still learning his rope. At Osimhen's age, who knew Ighalo? There are only few complete strikers out there. Trust me when he starts putting in all his chances, he is gonna be scary but for now we can only demand more from him, that doesn't mean we should condemn him or compare him to a prime Ighalo when he just started his professional career and making waves in Europe. What does that guy mean by Osimhen is hyped. Is Osimhen a bad player? At 22 Ighalo was already a legend in Granada and was playing in Laliga. |

In a nutshell, Ejuke had no intention of passing the ball. My man wan score em own goal. |

Patson Daka wouldn't have ballooned those balls Me know know that one ooooo. All I know is that he is a monster machine. Jokes apart. The boy don tire. Rohr should have removed him but I can see that he doesn't actually knows how to read a match. drDoom3: These are the type of games Onuachu excels in at Genk. His aerial prowess and excellent finishing could be useful in this game.
Musa needs to be subbed off. The left wing with Collins is too weak in attack. Bring in Ejuke and put him on that wing, Bassey to support. The game plan is to pass the ball as quickly as possible and create space for the players. That was why Ejuke was rightly dropped. He seems to be holding unto the ball too much. This game is not for him except we are satisfied with the scores then we can bring him to entertain us. |

lloydtruth: Don't be deceived by the 2 goals lead, this team still lacks cohesion and creativity. Though a lil sharper than the other day, I am still disappointed. Musa as number 10 has the vision but la is passing accuracy. CAR parked the bus but they still found a way to score. This match is way better than the one in Lagos. |

Napoleon55: Iheanacho was my best player for that game, anyone who said he didn't do anything in that march is not sure what he is sayin.
Osimhen usually bury that kind of chances, i don't know y he was in rush to shoot instead of pushing forward a little bit. I'm sure he must have taken correction Iheanacho did very well. I don’t know what some people are saying here. Honestly, I was surprised he missed that chance which was the best chance created by Iheanacho. I hope he has taken correction because such doesn’t come many times against some teams |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by forgiveness: 2:11pm On Oct 09, 2021 |
There was a through ball Iheanacho passed to Osimhen leaving him racing into the CAR box 18 with only one CAR defender chasing beside him but Osimhen blew it away. I don’t know why he didn’t try to cut across the defender in the box 18 which could had fetched us a penalty peradventure the defender commits a foul on him or leave him facing the goalkeeper to beat.
That was the replica of the exact positions/situation Awoniyi scored two goals just recently.
However, Osimhen also had a clear chance to score in the second half when his ball hit the post (not sure what actually happened) but it fell to one player before it finally fell to Awoniyi whose shot was blocked.
The coach should show the clip of the match to them and tell them what to do when they find themselves in such circumstances.
An experience striker will definitely get something out from that Iheancho pass.
In short, I don’t want to hear Iheanacho didn’t do anything in that match. I beg to disagree because he gave a through pass that freed Osimhen in a perfect and comfortable position enough to do the damage.
Hence, I recommend we play 3-4-1-2 with Iheanacho occupying the 1 in that formation.
I believe we will score goals. |

humility33: I apologise for the way i talked to u the other day But of A truth most persons will rate Oshimen ahead of Taiwo at the moment not easy to be the Seria A player of the month and also he has contributed more so far in taking Napoli to the level they're currently in the league and UEFA he has been involved in penalties that ensured their come back from goal down and even scored whopping goals in one of the most defensive disciplined league in europe but still Tiawo have been excellent too Apologies accepted but it doesn’t mean if you misyan again I will not pay in kind. However, nobody stops anyone from rating a player over another but it should be done with presentation of facts on ground and not with prejudice. How can he lie Awoniyi is static and slow etc? How come most of you looked away from that fallacious statement? But you all were quick to attack me when I tried to put things straight. I believe you all agreed to that fallacious statement due to prejudice and sentiment. However, we call this thread Super Eagles yen yen. Who is fooling who? Some people are just deceiving themselves. |

He is not as fast. He is better at finishing, but he doesn't bully defenders. His press is not as good as Osimhen's. He is also very static. |
