Nigercity: Lolz... Afonjas and imagination Y not tell me the name of the estate as big as the one I mentioned above in Ibadan?
Anyway since you want us to start listing estate Drop your list with website first (optional), and I will list the once in Enugu Let's go!
As for the ph matter, you don't even need to doubt it, infact in next 10 years Aba will have more estate than Ibadan, cos the amount of estate been built Along ph/ABA Express road, replication of Lagos/ogun is currently happening btw Aba and pH the 2 cities are fast joining each other, with more companies building there factory and estate in Abia axis becose of cheaper taxes and expansion,(just use goggle map and view ph/Aba boundary) Bodija is bigger than what Enugu has to offer and it’s almost the size of Owerri. |

BKayy: LOL. It is either you like deceiving yourself or you are talking out of ignorance. Anybody that have travelled round Nigeria must have noticed that when it comes to number of cities (Nigerian Standards) SE edges other regions out. Coming to livable cities, SE still edges others out followed by SS then North before SW.
I am not talking for arguments and if you read everything I type here you won't see any reason to reply or challenge it. Let me explain the difference for you. What you call cities by Nigerian standards is what an average Igbo town has (working market, health care, basic amenities like schools etc) Moving from the south to the North one notices something like moving from walled houses to those without walls. SE and most parts of SS don't construct buildings without demarcating with walls and gates. This is not something you can see easily in SW or North (though unrelated in development but shows differences in living conditions and quality placed in where one lives)
Now let's go to sanitation and hygiene. I don't mean to insult some people but anyone that have visited or lived in different parts of Nigeria will know that SW in general place little or no importance on Personal hygiene. Hygiene like building toilets and maintaining houses is something alien to SW and North. In SW it is very difficult to see shops selling tissues especially in Ibadan because the people don't use it Anybody that have lived in Ibadan will attest to the fact that is is very difficult to see houses with toilet. Though the North also fall for the same thing but in SE it is considered as a taboo. Other Nigerians visiting SE always say the people place too much importance on where they defecate.
If we are to be honest with ourselves and talk from what we say ourselves not media propaganda, SW and the North are no where near SE. And also SW is no where near North in livable cities as well if we want to be honest with ourselves Ibadan alone has more estates than any cities in Nigeria besides cities in Lagos and Abuja. Keep fooling yourself. |

Yet you keep dancing around Lagos as if without Lagos nothing else exists in the SW. Now, I ask you, what is the difference between Abuja and FCT?
I'm done with you abeg, it's obvious you've lost the argument. Next please! Lagos belongs to SW and it consist of many cities. You can cry about that. Ife, Iperu, etc are far more developed than those villages. |
Politics › Re: Between South-East And South-West, Which Region Got More Cities?? by forgiveness: 4:59pm On Oct 31, 2021 |
Biafrarep: That we call them villages doesn't necessarily mean they're villages in the strict sense of it. Many of them are already towns so yes, go ahead and name any Yoruba town/village that can compare with those Igbo towns I listed.
Saying that Awolowo contributed to the development of Lagos is crap, because Michael Okpara also contributed to the development of P.H and that city is owned by an Igbo speaking tribe yet you don't see us throwing it into the mix.
Forget Lagos, it's a national heritage developed by all. Ikeja is the capital of Lagos State. It’s not Lagos city. If you don’t know anything you can just learn today. Lagos is different from Lagos State. We have many cities within Lagos State. Ikeja and Lekki are one of them. Do you understand? |

unless if Lagos is among what we are comparing, but if not...... juxtapositioning of east cities to West cities........ The east has it more. And even more developed SW 1 Lagos 2. Ikeja 3. Lekki 4. Ibadan 5. Abeokuta 6. Oshogbo 7. Akure 8. Eko Atlantic 9. Ado Ekiti 10. Ota 11. Mowe ( RCCG camp) 12. Ijebu-Ode 13. Sagamu 14. Ilesa 15. Ondo 16. Ogbomoso 17. Ikorodu 18. Badagry SE 1. Owerri 2. I challenge you Yorubas to name any village from the SW that can remotely compare with any of these SE villages below and I will transfer 10k to your account.

Owerri vs Ikeja ( this city was developed from the scratch by Awolowo not federal government) Onitsha vs Lekki (this city was developed by Jakande and latter by Tinubu from scratch) it was never under or part of Capital of Nigeria. Nigercity: South East has more cities than South West
Most places they call cities in South West aren't even popular outside South West
But everyone in West Africa knows about ABA and onistha (which aren't even capital cities in the east)
Go to the northern part of Nigeria You will really understand that they only popular south west cities are Lagos and Ibadan, I was surprised when I made mention of Ado ekiti in Kano They all thought I was referring to a location in the east,
1)ANAMMCO (a car assembling company) 2) Nigeria breweries have there largest plant which is also the biggest breweries in West Africa (Google that) 3) Ivm (another car production company) 4) Stan industries LTD (if you have ever had of zinox wire b4) 5) cocola bottling company 6) A.c pharmaceutical production company (the produce different varieties of drug) 7) peace mass car production/assembling industry
nalin paint production company 9) Lopa energy limited (a well respected oil and gas firm) 10.) lolite company (the are into production of nuts, bolts, washer e.t.c)
I can go on and on (the list is endless) The problem with you folks from South West, is that you guys don't travel You think the world starts and ends in your imagination Have you ever been to emene industrial layout emene Enugu hell no! You just stay in your Brown roof and be predicting nonsense

This is a no brainer to anyone who has traveled to both regions. Talking about livable cities between both regions now I will give you the options so you can compare on your own.
Owerri vs Akure Onitsha vs Ogbomoso Abakiliki vs Ado Ekiti Enugu vs Ibadan Aba vs Ijebu Ode Abeokuta vs Umuahia Oshogbo vs Awka Oguta vs Iragbiji
Except you're the devil himself, you already know which region that is far more livable than the other.
Only SS can give SE a run for their money in Nigeria in terms of lively cities. SW is out of the equation, it's just that Lagos tends to hide the rot in that region. Owerri vs Ikeja Onitsha vs Lekki Abakiliki vs Akure Enugu vs Ibadan Aba vs Ota Abeokuta vs Umuahia Oshogbo vs Awka Oguta vs Ijebu Ode |

How can you watch Osimehn this season and Ndidi and say that we don’t have players in the form of mane and Salah?? You’re indirectly showing lack of believe in your players Which of our players is like Salah and Mane? Some people here even claimed all our strikers are better than Ighalo and from what I deduced they believe those players have surpassed Ighalo’s achievements. I couldn’t but shake my head and move on because I no wan waste my time arguing. Meliforme: It is very clear that Chidera Ejuke and Samuel Chukwueze are a class above Victor Moses when concerns are fixated on wing forward play. There are obvious reasons enough for this conclusion. However Victor Moses is a maestro in wingback play.
For most of the coaches i have studied, Victor Moses will never displace these aforementioned players in their natural positions, that is, if these coaches will consider employing his services.
In Super Eagles, Victor Moses enjoyed the quality of John Obi Mikel and Ogenyi Onazi in addition to better tactics and approach. Now that Salisu Yusuf is back, let's patiently observe the unfolding of events. Oga! We were almost crashing out of AFCON despite Mikel in the team but from the time Vicmo was brought in, he singlehandedly won games for us. Besides, Vicmo was brought to limelight as a winger during his days at Wigan. |
