Arabiandude: Ighalo first season with Watford was in the championship and he scored 20 goals. Sadiq in his first season with Almeria has scored 16 goals already with more assists.
Ighalo first season in Laliga 2 where Sadiq is playing now was with Grenada and he scored just 4 goals.
Ighalo has only had 2 good seasons in his professional career playing in the whole of euro why Sadiq has had 4 good seasons already, also playing in the same Europe Where did Sadiq get 4 good seasons? |

ChrisKels: Only in your world was Ighalo's best days as good as, or even better than Simmy's. Simmy is the best Nigeria has ever had in a single season in any of the Europe's top five leagues since the Nigerian national team was formed. The other day you said that Ikpeba scored 26 in a single ligue1 season which was a total lie because Ikpeba's best for Monaco in the ligue1 was 14 goals scored in the 97/98 season.
Now back to Simmy and Ighalo;- Ighalo's best season for Granada was in the 11/12 laliga season where he scored 6goals in 29 matches and a total of 13 goals in 3Laliga seasons, compare that to Simmy's crazy stat this season alone. While playing in the segunda division, he could only score 4 goals in over 20 matches, compare that to Sadiq's crazy stats this season in the same league
In the championship, his best was 20 goals, same as Simmy's in the Serie B. In the EPL, his best was 16 while Simmy is already on 19 and counting this season alone, in the serie A. In fact, Ighalo could on score a total of 17goals in four seasons in the EPL, while Simmy already has 19 in a single serie A season. Do you want to know Simmy's total so far in the serie A? So tell me, how Ighalo is as good as Simmy. 1. Simmy is having a better season than Ighalo and he deserves the applause. But has Ighalo’s best days includes his golden boot at the AFCON. Has Simmy added that to his C.V? Until then. Anything can still happen. 2. Best player Nigeria ever had in a single season or best Nigerian highest scorer in a season? Decide before I respond. 3. Is Simmy the highest Nigerian goal scorer ever in an European top league? No way. Owobokiri still remains the undisputed Champion in that category. Sorry. 4. Where did I say Ikpeba scored 26 goals? Ah! You are a liar oooo. 5. Ikpeba scored 16 goals in Ligue 1 to emerge the 3rd highest goal scorer. 6. Ighalo’s best season was 17 goals in all competitions. 15 goals in EPL and 2 goals in other competitions. 7. Ighalo scored 20 goals in the Championship which is the same level with Sadiq’s league. 8. For your information, Simy played in the Portuguese league but his goal stats wasn’t as good as expected. |

Arabiandude: Point of correction, the EPL isn't the best league in the world, it's not even the most competitive, it's just the most organized and has more viewers. Else how will you define Man City been a runaway leader in the EPL while same can't be said in Laliga. Now to Ighalo top flight stats which you want to base your argument, Ighalo has scored 38 goals on 148 matches playing for Udinese in Seria A, Grenada in Laliga, Watford and Man I in the premier league. Ighalo highest goals return was in the Championship where he scored 20 goals playing for Watford, the next season in the premier league he scored 15 goals and after that he scored just a single goal for Watford, and he had to leave to China. Ighalo has scored about 140 career goals and most of these goals were scored playing in Norway, Udinese playing in Seria B, Grenada playing in Laliga 2, Watford playing in the Championship and obscure leagues playing in China and Saudi Arabia. Ighalo scored just 4 league goals in Laliga 2 and Sadiq has scored about 16 in the same Laliga 2, Ighalo best season in top leagues football was scoring 15 for Watford, Simy has scored 19 for crotone. Ighalo played about 73 Laliga games for Watford and scored just 13 goals, that's about 1 goal in 5 matches and that's poor for a striker. He also played more than 55 matches for Watford in top flight EPL and scored 17 goals, that's also about 1 goal in 4 matches and that's also poor Which of the aforementioned players are playing in Laliga? None Apart from Simy who scored 19 goals so far this season, which one of those players done what Ighalo did in the best league in the world? For your information, Ighalo scored 17 goals in all competitions in Epl. Which one of the aforementioned players won golden boot in AFCON? None They are not yet in Ighalo’s level. |

It takes power to impose your will, at present, we know where the SW starts and stops, please respect other tribes and cultures. You are making a big mistake. There will be nothing like SW if Nigeria disintegrate. What you will have is people identifying with their people. There was nothing Ighalo did that even Simy hasn't done better in club football and won't do better at the NT. And how many years did it took Ighalo before he achieve ANC top scorer? Not that he is a regular and prolific goal scorer. Or have you forgotten the 2018 WC and Ighalo performance? That should tell you his goalscoring at the last ANC was a fluke Did you say at Ighalo’s best he is not better than the aforementioned players? Ask yourself again after answering the question, is a second Division player better than an Epl player? Have the aforementioned players scored 15 goals in arguably the best league in the world(epl ofcourse)? |

We may just see this thing differently due to our historic understandings. I'm Fulani and have been educated on history by family, I assume you were educated by your family or other sources, which is fine.
I'll do more research on the topic, and encourage you to do so as well, thankyou for your time. I was not educated about Nigerian history by my family save the family history. However, it’s not about you seeing it or being thought. Based on Nigeria’s history, Bornu, Hausa and Yoruba, non introduced Islam to each other, rather got it willingly from foreign traders. At around 1500, Mosque was built in Oyo Empire and worshipers and the religion were referred to as Imale and Esin Imale respectively. Esin means religion while Imale refers to Mali where the religion was introduced to Yorubas. These are known and verifiable facts. |

NaijirianKing: Let's not insult each other, but be thoughtful in our words.
Islam has been in what eventually became Nigeria long before Sheik Usman Dan Fodio came into Nigeria. However, what Dan Fodio brought was the Emirate system employed exclusively by the Fulani. Anywhere you see an Emirate is a former Fulani stronghold. Bornu Kanem had a different system of using "Shehu" or Sheiks instead of Emirs. Hausas originally had a different system before Fulani came into the Hausa states. Igbo had the Igwe system, and Yoruba had the Oba and Alaafin forms of rulership.
Thus, in the North in many places we still have the Emirate system brought by Don Fodio. One such place is Kwara. Fulani didn’t introduce Islam to Yoruba, Hausas and Bornu hence it’s not the Northerners religion. As a matter of fact, Yorubas did not get Islam through any parts in the Northern Nigeria hence they are not practicing Northerner’s religion. Kwara state is big and comprises of many towns and villages. How many are operating Emirate system apart from Ilorin? For your information, the British government signed agreement directly with the Balogun instead of the Emirate? Why? Because as at the time the British came, the Baloguns were totally incharge of Ilorin. Please, be informed. |

NaijirianKing: Yoruba governors are allowed to win because Fulani are not tribalistic. Same reason you have Hausas occupying such seats in Fulani dominated states and areas. This only shows how accommodating the Fulani can be, despite the recent media slander being put out against Fulani and the North.
Kwara has always been the southernmost fringe of the Sokoto Caliphate. So there is a mix of ethnic groups; Fulani, Hausa and even Yoruba, but it is actually Northern in culture, religion and history.
However, of course due to close proximity to the SW, there will be plenty of recent and not so recent migrants from the SW, but it is a Northern state. Is Islam is Northerner culture? What an ignoramus. |

We were bad in all games except last 30 minutes vs Korea and our group was much weaker Nigeria was not bad against Greece and Korea. We controlled the game and scored a goal from the start till Sani got red card and Taiwo got injured. Even Echiejile that replaced him got injured and we were forced to use a makeshift player on the LB. In fact, we had two clear one on one chances with the goalkeeper despite the red card but the striker blew away those two chances. Against Korea, the ball wasn't just going in. Yakuba and Martins missed the golden chances . Luck... Luck I said was against us. |
