chrisooblog: Bro like you i agree that Alampasu and Lawal should have been fielded but at the end of the day it's the coaches discretion who he wants to use.
The point about Akatugba is little bit unfair. Oma like any other sports journalist from time immemorial highlighted a talented player it will then be left to the coaching crew to assess if he's good enough.
Alampasu should have been fielded if only for the main fact that he was invited and friendlies are meant to test new players. If Alampasu hadn't been invited i would not have had any issues but his call up is telling me they feel he has some qualities so why not let him showcase it? even if he messed up and we ended up losing isn't it a friendly? anyway what is done is done.
Alampasu himself should continue to improve and get more game time cos playing barely 10 ten games in 5 years for small clubs for that matter is not good enough Alampasu didn't play 10 games in 5 years. Not true. |

IDENNAA: Awaziem and Omeruo understanding is top notch. Omeruo has added class to his quality. Nice movement with the ball and confidence. I will play him ahead of Eking for now.
Awaziem is beautiful to watch. He is good with the ball in his feet, give decisive passes and knows exactly when to track back. Right now , he is ahead of all the RB in the team including Ebuehi. It beats my imagination why Rohr started Akpoguma in that position ahead of Awaziem.
What a coach! Awaziem is not better in that RB position. |

smartsmith0907: Okay fine no problem these are negatives and it will be sorted out in the subsequent match remember this is just a friendly and we've been out for months let's just hope for the best. With torun and tosin paring in the defense we should have a strong center halves and ehzibue is coming we have a strong midfield with ndidi and aribo and 80% of those that played yesterday are bench warmers so why you fusing This is just friendly but Rohr and his cohorts refused to let us see other goalkeepers and players. Tell him his sack and all his coaching crew is near. |

smartsmith0907: See bro it doesn't matter there are positives in the game we all know now that ekong ,omerou, Ajayi are carpenters. Balogun is back in form, we now have a good GK in maduka I must honestly say am impressed also zaidu will surely nail his spot as a LB...ejuke too is fantastic these are positives. We can be in major tournament and we won't have a CMF probably as a result of injury et al...we are always preparing for the worst. #soareagles Are you kidding with the bolded? You don't know anything but speak via sentiment and prejudice. Ajayi is better as a CB. Rohr should do the needful. If it was Alampasu that conceded that goal yesterday I am certainly sure tbaba1234 will come here and be talking about how he was out of position but behold his goalkeeper knowledge suddenly vamus because na em favourite. What prejudice. |

I don't understand why this coach didn't play Agu instead of Ajayi. Ajayi not good enough for the DMF.
Akpoguma is no good on the RB position. He should fight for the CB but seeing Omeruo and Balogun perform well in that position, I don't think he can start games.
He has to compete with Awaziem, Ajayi etc for that position.
Awaziem is good at passing the ball but not good enough for the RB position, he should bring Aina back. He is far better.
Aina, Ebuehi and Ezihubue should slog it out for the RB position.
Zaibu is not better than Collins. Dude looks ordinary for now.
Omeruo and Balogun na boss. I really enjoyed both yesterday. I think they should be starters.
Wow! Ejuke na baller. We need that kind of player in the national team but how can Rohr bring him in just 19 minutes to the end of the match when some players are obviously tired? We wouldn't have known he add something to the team if Rohr didn't play him. The same way he didn't play the goalkeepers.
Iheanacho has improved. I love almost all he did yesterday. Pressing, defending, joining the mildfield etc. Like I said before, I will use him behind the striker.
He should have passed the ball to Desser instead of shooting the ball.
Moses has improved greatly. Obviously the best winger we have now.
Chuks!? I think that coach in Villarreal has brainwashed his brain from taking a shoot. I think Rohr should advise him to try score sometimes when he has the opportunity.
Okoye is a good addition to the team but I don't believe he's better than Alampasu and Yakubu. All I see here is favouritism.
Iwobi was good yesterday. Love the way he tried to protect his mate and make the Tunisian got a yellow.
I don't know why Rohr refused to entrust the DM position to Agu instead of Ajayi. Is Rohr insinuating Ajayi is better in that position? I disagree. Rohr is just biased and prejudice.
Musa. Hmmm
Dessers showed an instinct of a striker with the way he turned and created goal scoring chance out of nothing.
Bring Azeez back to the team. |

Presenters in Brilla Fm said he doesn't understand why Rohr didn't give other goalkeepers to prove themselves.
Rohr is a sentimental coach. Imagine trying to retain some players in the national team because their place are under threat. He then start converting them to makeshift players.
What a joke of a coach.
It's good he experimented with them and we can see they are not good enough. |

smartsmith0907: In his last match for Fulham he was a massive flop guess you didn't watch that I hope you were not blind when musa scored a brace in his first day in training Akpoguma was the best CB in camp and a makeshift RB he played as a Rb to cover up for semi in the middle thats why in the course of the match he dived to the middle We need a defensive FB aina won't give us this rather he will expose our RB so what the hell are you talking about If not for injury Colin won't have played sanusi was not replaced he was displaced as a result of injury. Awaziem and akpo are the only two defensive fullback we have and awaziem has been awesome for boavista this season. Aina didn't flop in that match. Stop lying.

smartsmith0907: For people criticizing rohr; it not easy like you guys thought they was huge mistake in the team selection we needed a CMF but didnt go to the friendly CMF we told the likes of onyeka could play makeshift CMF but fumbled so we had to improvise to a new formation we only tried out once in training and decided to go for it ...like I said Semi is the backbone of the formation thats why his mistake was glaring apko was started to dive to the middle and support ajayi while chuks track back at first it wasnt really working coz they were pressing hard and we needed to get hold of the possession to play our style. But we thank God we played partially well with our team maduka was fantabulous now youve seen why yakubu and alampasu is not needed Overall we were average there are positives for the game so 4-1-4-1 is the official second formation of the team ...it worked very well we couldn't have done any better ....till we meet again in November friedden to y'all As far as I am concerned, Okoye is not better until we see dem play. smartsmith0907: lemme give you an indepth analysis of these players
1. Uzoho ( APOEL) plays in Cyprus which is rated 16 by UEFA league rating:- uzoho came to the limelight in 2017 after becoming the youngest foreign Goalkeeper in LA liga and he consistent over the years from his move from deportivo to Elche to anorthosis and now APOEL he has been playing continuously have never heard Uzoho been out for months without playing unless he is injured
2. Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam) plays in Netherlands which is rated 10 according to UEFA league ranking ...okoye is the most undermined player here and damn underrated who ever says Okoye was invited coz he was commenting of NFF post that person is a nonentity and he is BALNTANT liars coz Okoye earned his invitation and was merited lemme give his synopsis He started in Bayern Leverkusen and moved to Fortuna in 2017 he came to the limelight whe he SINGLE HANDEDLY save his team from relegation( oberliga ) making 5 appearances with 4 clean sheet and conceding just a goal who ever follow regionaliga will tell you how difficult it is to concede a goal in 4 matches vonsidering the scoring spree in the league this was when rohr discovered him In the 2018/2019 season, he became the club regular goalkeeper. He finished the season with 15 appearances, conceding 25 goals and keeping 3 clean sheets. this stat is very impressive considering his age and exposure at that time now he is in Sparta Rotterdam pushing for a No.1 spot
3. okiki LASK playing in Austria Ranked 12 according to UEFA league ranking :- I have a kinda close link with him coz have been following him since age 8 during his days in Asko donau linz he came to the limelight in 2017 when he broke into LASK junior he went on 46 game spree and went to wels having 8games on his belt now he is in LASK first team playing a UEFA Competition and he will soon be their first choice considering his performance in his last match
now compare these players with alampasu who has played a total sum of 6 games since December 30 2015 till date international match included https://www.footballcritic.com/dele-alampasu/profile/65554 and played for ventspils which is currently 36 according to UEFA league ranking so my broda the trio has been consistent over the years and are playing right now in a better league than alampasu I understand you're a fan but his time will surely come You are a bloody liar. |

To my surprise, a German four tier league player was called and now that he is just a second choice goalkeeper in his club as the case was with Alampasu then, they want to use he plays at the top club to discredit a player even when they set the standard by themselves. The situation was not different from that of Alampasu and Uzoho. Alampasu was the second choice goalkeeper in a Portuguese league while Uzoho was playing in the Spanish third tier league then but Alampasu was dropped because he was not having game time while Uzoho was having game time. Game time was emphasized but what changed suddenly? Fast forward. Game time is no longer important but being a second choice goalkeeper in a top league is now the criterion. What double standard!? |

Are Okoye and Okiki the first choice goalkeeper in their respective clubs? When Alampasu was the second choice goalkeeper in the Portuguese league, he was not preferred neither was he called because they claimed he was not playing but fast forward, Okoye who is a second choice goalkeeper is preferred to a goalkeeper who is starting for his club.
