Abohboy: We knwo you have more stadiums and larger stadiums as well. But we have to honest, South Africa has host had to host more things. And they need these stadiums fr make sports whereas Nigeria mainly has football, so we don’t need a lot of stadiums for all the different sports. Unlike South Africa where there is cricket, rugby, hockey and football. So you would obviously need more stadiums. They didn't have stadiums until the 2010 world. |

rvp20182: Had to check it again,
The rail is mere 150kms - maybe because it's double track.
It was re-awarded to CCECC by another president, Goodluck Jonathan, in 2012, but again failed to start.
Also I get this.
The Jonathan administration oversaw the construction of new railways in the country, including the Abuja-Kaduna railway, Lagos-Ibadan railway and conceptualised high speed rail projects If we go by your logic, Obasanjo started the project on pages of newspaper but nothing to show on ground. Sorry, we don't count such projects here. We only acknowledge those who execute projects here in Nigeria. Thanks |

Abohboy: Someone’s very sad, what about dead konza with one building. And construction of buildings only started 6 years ago. Before then they were sorting out water, electricity, and drainage services, so in 6 years we have two Eko pearl towers, three azure peninsula towers, one afren towers, one amni tower, one Eko corporate tower, and one A&A towers, you do the math that’s more than one. You have omitted 3 Eko energy estate towers. The bolded are still under construction though. Including 29 floors Lagos Sky tower and Eko village.

vankelvin: You've not said anything different here, just ranting.. Around 2012 or so I got to know about Eco City,. I watched a documentary on it and I saw them reclaiming the sea and how those molded concretes where used to support and all that. Later I watched another which showed the whole planning, constructing roads, sewage system and all that. To cut a long story short, I have been monitoring the whole show of ECO City so don't think you are giving me any new information I didn't know. Even Abuja, I watched documentaries of it.. Calling ECO Atlantic a city doesn't make it a separate city from Lagos because it was build within Lagos City. Abuja and eco are two separate things so don't mix it up.. You are an ignoramus. Maybe you be the mammy water wey live inside sea on where Eko Atlantic city stands. Sorry, Eko Atlantic city is now a NEW CITY in Lagos state. That's the koko and you have been schooled disgracefully. Swallow your pride and move on jejely. |

vankelvin: You don't have sense so you've never made a sensible comment.Never. Abuja was not established ''within'' another City mumu. Moreover, the case of Abuja is different from ECO. A puppet in 21st century they believe whatever they hear from a Politrickcian. Even if there were settlements where Abuja was established, I am sure they relocated those people before Abuja city was started.. Get the difference here,, ECO is the same as Victoria and Banana Islands so soak your brain with some knowledge okay First of all, I am a partial indigene of Lagos state, born in Lagos, grew up in Lagos and currently live in Lagos state hence a novice like you who only learnt about Lagos state on the pages of news paper knows nothing. The place you are talking about is called bar breach in V/I and it was full of shanties for bar joint, bukker, etc before it was demolished by the government. Not far from it is the ocean view, a club, where I used to relax back in those days with boys. I know that place very well and I can tell you the place Eko Atlantic is currently located in just a tiny fraction of the whole place called Eko Atlantic city. That place didn't exist as at the time I went around that area except you want to tell me that you are one of the mammy water living in that place because it was a SEA. A sea that drowned and killed people anyhow. Yes! It was a SEA nobody could live in but the goverment decided to reclaim and turn it into a city on its own. The same way the government decided to turn Abuja into a city from a bush. So, what is a foreigner like you business if they decided so? Abi you be our government? Someone like you who is a nobody in Ghana can't come and tell us how we decide things here. Go and contest for one tangible position in your country before you start porking your noise in what is beyond your reasoning. Get this into your brain. Eko Atlantic city is not under any city in Lagos state. Now see how Eko Atlantic City came to be in pictures.

rvp20182: Ibandan-Lagos line began in Goodluck Jonathan regime. In meantime, we built 750Kms of railway btw 2014 and 2019. And not only that - we built two dry ports, and have made them operational. And we had to dig some of Africa longest tunnels. How did you know? Were you the contractor? You are such a novice. You know. |

rvp20182: More on ICUS beds.
Uganda has 55 beds. Kenya has more than 500bed Nigeria 120 beds - GIANT
http://www.rfi.fr/en/africa/20200403-lack-of-covid-19-treatment-and-critical-care-could-be-catastrophic-for-africa
According to McKinney - 5k Nigerians every month travel abroad for basic treament- annually that is 60K - spending top dollars on treatment.
By way of example, Nigeria has 0.9 hospital beds per 1,000 people, compared with a global average of 2.3 beds. Moreover, it has only 120 intensivecare-unit (ICU) beds, equivalent to 0.07 ICU beds per 100,000 people, compared with Kenya’s ratio of 0.3 ICU beds per 100,000 people. One of many consequences of the lack of infrastructure is that an estimated 5,000 patients a month travel abroad to seek healthcare, 60 percent of them needing treatment in cardiology, musculoskeletal, hematology, or oncology. Medical tourism—much of it to popular destinations such as India and South Africa—incurred costs totaling more than $1 billion in 2013.2 This is 2017 data for Nigeria you bloody liar. This is 2020. |

rvp20182: Nothing show Lagos is outside Lagos city. It's reclaimed part of Lagos city. The idea is that in Lagos state - and not city is crazy. If Lagos state is Greater or Metro of Lagos - then it still crazy - because it's right there.
Now I can tell you Two Rivers is not in Nairobi but in Kiambu county and Nairobi Metro. And so is Tatu City and Northland City.
Konza city is further in Makueni County (not even Kajaido or Machakos) and is part of Nairobi Metro. Just keep quiet and learn. That's how decide things here. If you like make Tata city dey Mombasa or Kilimanjaro, e no change anything here. |
