There are Ijaw communities in Ondo state, Obasanjo forcefully added them to Ondo state to make SW an oil producing region. There's no crude oil in SW for now.

Some aspects of culture should be jettisoned including this one
Culture is an acceptable way of life of a particular people. Take note of people and acceptable in this context.

That's the most important thing. A foreigner can't decide or influence a particular people's way of life that doesn't bring harm to anybody.

As an elder, I'll never allow any child prostrate to me for whatever reason!
Culture varies. People should respect other's culture.

Who knows about the Zenith U15 team? Why not Nigeria U15 team?

Anyway, this was before the match.

Golden Eaglets Camp News : Players Demoralized; Top Scorer Punished; Coaches Harassed By NFF
Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that the Golden Eaglets camp is in disarray ahead of their crucial semifinal showdown against Guinea at the ongoing U17 Africa Cup of Nations and this has to do with interference by the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation.

A board member of the Nigerian Federation was recently in touch with the team and blasted the coaches for not recruiting the best players and taking substandard players to Tanzania.

If he has his way, the football administrator based in the country's financial capital has vowed to drop ninety five percent of the players named on the roster for the 2019 U17 AFCON and it has been suggested that he is preparing the Zenith Bank U15 Boys to replace majority of the players.

Heading into today's game, the players are demoralized because they have not received a single dime from the NFF as match bonuses and camp allowances, and they were also criticized for their lackadaisical performance in their first three games.

A top Nigerian Federation official who visited the team in Tanzania last week had promised the players fifty dollars per day as camp allowance.

Meanwhile, the Golden Eaglets top scorer in the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers, Olakunle Olusegun was dropped from the starting lineup against Uganda because the coaches wanted to punish him for missing several scoring opportunities against Tanzania and Angola.

The coaching crew led by Manu Garba have opined that he performed better when he came off the bench in the second half against Uganda.

gallivant:
I disagree. You are blatantly ignoring the facts about religious and cultural tourism. This is because Nigeria is not a very tolerant place even for Nigerians themselves.
Religious tourism simply points to the church activities in the South.

Is there religious intolerant in the South?

Nigeria hosts the headquarters of many big churches in the world and these attracts foreigners from all over the world.

Cultural tourism is active all over the country. There nothing like intolerant to foreigners in this regard. It's just imagination.

to be honest with you... i am even happy that they lost this match....
Manu Garba and his crew can now go back to the drawing board...
they need to make this lads watch every match and show them their mistakes and what they
need do next time....
draft in fresh players who are good offensively..
have them camped with these players..and then pick the best (least selfish amongst them)
Lateef should be called back in the fold...the dude decision making is better than so many of these players who made the team
Well, it's good he sees the mistakes now and makes amend else we get disgraced at the world cup due to selfish individualist players.

He should also show them the 2013 set that played for each other, and even Amunike team that was not selfish.

Garba should play Adrian and that goalkeeper and let us examine them with our own eyes.

I agree with that we should reinforce the team. Lateef and that Emmanuel Ekong of Empoli should be called to the camp.

This team is full of self glory seeking players.

Manu reason for not playing that Chelsea kid is dicey...
Exactly! There are some attributes scouts want to see. It's not all about goal. But this team came to just market themselves and are letting us down.
