Hello guys check this out. Uyo wants to become a city like lagos and abuja by all means. You need to see the kind of roads in that city , I could even say they are better than the ones in lagos. There are building their CBD and the pic below is the second skyscrapper under construction. The governor said that once this building is completed so many foreign companies and local ones would flood these new city .The buildings is a smart building and it absence has chased alot of investors away. No wonder the governor built 12 lane roads for them and is currently building an industrial city (it would equally house skyscrappers ) and so many hospitals. He even built a dubai like cineplex for them and want to build a light rail like lagos. It just recently bought 2 aircraft without the FG assistance and it is building it international airport. The governor believes that lagos is what it is today because of it port and he is building a deep sea port that is 2x bigger than what lagos have currently. .

These is it second skyscrapper (21 storey)under construction
What do you except? grin

Dem get money. grin

I heard Ogun state government is also working on building skyscrapers in the newly created CBD. Two or 3 high-rises are already completed.

TheGoodJoe:
The slowed down footage clearly shows the ball deflected off Llorente’s arm before hitting his thigh and ended up in the net.

AS’s resident referee Iturralde González commented: ”It hits his hand first then his hip and the UEFA instructions are clear: you can't score if it hits your hand, even if it’s involuntary. It doesn't matter if the elbow is tight to the body. If it happens to a defender it's not a penalty, but if it's an attacker it has to be disallowed. Rossetti has told the UEFA referees.”

He added: "Irrati (the VAR) - the number one VAR official - advises Çakir because he's seen a hand. When Çakir comes back from seeing the images he tells the players 'I didn't see anything. It hit his thigh.' They didn't play him the view from behind where you can see it hits the elbow. The error from the VAR is not showing the two key images. Why? The question is getting it right, not how long it takes."

AS’s resident ref's conclusion: "Manchester City are out because the VAR wasn't used properly".
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.givemesport.com/1469129-fernando-llorentes-handball-v-man-city-slowed-down-footage-emerges%3famp

TheGoodJoe's conclusion: People in the VAR room had the luxury of having multiple angles and clearly saw that the ball hit the arm of Llorente but refused to show that screen because there was an agenda already.

Finito.

See your life, You were insulating that Olayinka was playing in the wings that was the reason for his goal drought

But when I said he must be shitty to be playing in the wings you are now saying he is better in the wings

(A striker who is better in the wings) grin

Stop trying to defend the indefendable it makes you look foolish
You lack basic comprehension. How can I help you?

When did I say Olayinka was playing in the wings and that was the reason for his goal drought?

Peter Olayinka before coming to Slave Prague played mostly as a winger.

Who now looks foolish?

forgiveness:
5 goals and 4 assists. Played mostly as a striker. Like I told you, he is better utilized as a winger.

98% of those goals and assists came from playing on the wings despite playing more as a striker.

Aubameyang scored 17 goals playing mostly from the wings

Besides if was good he would have been played as a first choice CF for Slavia Prague

You no get excuse abeg grin
Hahahaha! You are very funny.

The fact that Aubameyang can play and score on the wings doesn't mean Peter can do the same.

Can Onyekuru and Chukwueze score goals as a striker the same way Aubameyang did? Aubameyang is not Olayinka mate in football. That's not a fair comparison.

Besides, Peter Olayinka is better as a winger than as a center forward. He has played more on that is favourite wings and performed better before coming to Slave Prague.

This season, he started 13 or 14 games out of 31 games from what I saw but he didn't play only as a striker though he has played more as a striker.

Slave Prague of this season will easily defeat Galatasaray even Villarreal will not be spared.

It seems you didn't watch Slava Prague in the Europa League.

Peter Olayinka Nigerian Striker with one of the WORST records in Europe

Nigeria’s Peter Olayinka couldn’t help Slavia Prague avoid elimination on Thursday in the Europa League at the hands of Chelsea as they fell 4-3 on the night and 5-3 on aggregate in the quarter-final.
Olayinka came on as a second half substitute and though the Czech Republic side dominated the second 45 minutes, the forward fired blank making his 9th appearance in the competition this season.
In fact, Olayinka might have one of the worst records as a striker in Europe’s club competitions, in the last four seasons.

The 36 Lions FC Youth Academy product has made 20 appearances in total in Europe’s continental club competition since 2015/16; a total of 1288 minutes, but, he has failed to register a goal.

https://www.brila.net/unlucky-nigerian-striker-with-one-of-the-worst-records-in-europe/
I didn't follow him this season but I saw the highlight of the match he played against Seville and I saw both matches against Chelsea, I can tell you he played a bigger part in those games.

In the first leg against Chelsea, he caused them lots of problems with his movements and passes as soon as he moved to the wings.

In the second leg, he came on in the second half and created lots of space for others to score. There was a chance he created that could had made them leveled the game but unfortunately the player fell eventhough he had only the keeper to beat.

The truth is, he played mostly as a winger in most of those games and he is known for given assists than scoring goals.

Peter is not a selfish player and he is better a team player.

The conclusion is Peter Olayinka is best utilize as a winger though a utility player.

I am not holding any brief for him anyway.

Sure. He's jumping, his arm is by his side, it's not outstretched... yeah, it's accidental. But I thought IFAB had determined that accidental handballs that lead to a goal would be punished with a free kick ...

They did, albeit with certain caveats. In fact, one of the law changes says that it's a free kick if "a player gains control/possession of the ball after it touches their hand/arm and then scores or creates a goal-scoring opportunity." Another one says it's a free kick if "the ball goes into the goal after touching an attacking player's hand/arm."

Llorente's situation was between the two scenarios. The ball touched his arm, but then it hit his hip as well before going into the goal. And you can't really say he gained control of the ball after the touch with the arm, but he did benefit from it as it then hit his hip. The thing to remember is that what you just read is irrelevant here; these rules will apply from next season

From your article, it is clear the person is dribbling around the fact. The point is simple. Llorente's accidental handball led to a goal and should not stand. Simple.
The bolded said it all.

i think kenya has better tourism potential than Nigeria. Nigeria is not a tourist destination even though many tourist attractions are abound but we don't take tourism serious here.

I guess the reason we had a big receipt is because of some yearly festivals, carnivals and sport competitions. Those are d only thing or major things that attract international tourists.

Not forgetting religious tourists worshipers too. cheesy

I don't know about Kenya having a better potential than Nigeria, may be if you just talk about safari tourism only. But if you take tourism as a whole,Nigeria can do better than Kenya.
Yes, you are right. Nevertheless, Nigeria makes money from events (cultural, music, etc), exhibition, religion and business tourism.

We want to develop our national parks, museums and beaches. Once that is done, we will make more money because we have many things not seen in Africa.

But security and light is our major challenges.

That is when you are debating if it is a penalty. It is unfair when a defending player is not making an attempt to stop the opposition from scoring a goal and the ball hits his arm. Especially, if his arm is tuck close and does not make him bigger. In this case, Llorente was the attacking player and use his hand to aid a goal.

The VAR drama there was to check for the possibility of a handball and they refuse to use the angle that clearly shows this. Llorente's arm played a role in scoring the goal. Handball any day. Even the referee knows.
Llorente didn't use his hand to aid any goal. The video showed his hand moved away from the ball. It didn't move towards the ball.

I respect VAR but what we saw that night was not VAR. That was corruption and a conspiracy to oust City caught on tape.

The VAR crew had the footage that clearly showed it touched his arm. We had already seen the footage before. They refused to show that angle because it was clear they wanted City out.

I respect VAR but what we saw that night was not VAR.
There was a moment during the match the ball touched either a Manchester city or Tottenham player in the box but the referee didn't give penalty.

That is you being dishonest as much as the VAR crew that night. I wonder how people are happy seeing someone cheated. I do not have a drop of that in me. That is one of the reasons I stopped supporting Manchester United.

Back to the topic. As long as it is handball, saying moving away does not add. You know it is handball, the referee and the VAR crew members knew it was handball and the goal should not stand.

What beats me is how people like you can keep a straight face and try to defend cheating another.
It was a pure and clean goal. grin

My respect for Ferdinand increased after he was the only one in BT studio who had the guts to admit the ball hit Llorente in the arm. It is a pity that the World is filled with so many fickle people who wants to see the better person cheated to suit their inferiority complex.

Majority of the EPL fans were happy that one of their best was getting robbed a chance to win the trophy. Either way, we march on.

‘That’s off his arm for me. That’s hit his arm. Watch the skin on his arm, it moves,’ Rio Ferdinand said, to which Lineker replied: ‘But even if it just flicks the arm and then goes onto the hips that’s not… is it?

‘I’m just saying the ball’s hit his arm and then it’s up to the referee to determine whether its a handball or not,’ Ferdinand said.

‘I think its handball personally I’ve got to be honest.’

As soon as I saw the replay I agree it was a goal. Llorente tried to move his arm away from the ball"s direction.

There was a slight touch but it didn't influence the direction of the ball. The hip had to do all the job. grin
