hope you see how...they're doing every thing codedly. ...if it were the Queens Boys...by now..it would have been all over the dailymail.....metro uk and telegraph etc...

and i tell you Germany unlike stingy England won't even be bothered....because they have talents abound and moreover they're not as callous as england who have no plans for this kids....

I tell you....most of these young Anglo Nigerians...will end up not having an international career...not because they were not talented but poor decisons and the English system...

most of the English born players you mentioned...have parents who are highly respected and are of repute in the Nigeria society.....just a simple meeting wit pinnick especially those from Delta state like onomah.....will change everything....

you see these children are still obsessed wit playing for England....I tell you.

it won't be easy...for now...pinnick know the UK terrain better than rohr....I think the deal was for pinnick to take his sojourn to the UK to convince this lads...and rohr go to Germany being a national of that country....he knows the terrain and the system better.....

while pinnick effort prove useful in getting Aina and Iwobi the recent Tammy outburst really calmed him down recently....

we just pray for a good world cup outing...that I believe will change the mind i many....reason why I want Aina,Moses and Iwobi make the world cup list....

Aina presence will help us get Tomori...and should we be able to get Ejaria after the world cup....that will help us get the others in Liverpool....

Well, average players do come out of their shells to do some extraordinary things on rare occasions. We saw how Osaze won the player of the month award twice back-back a feat achieved by few at the time. Also winning the best African player that season.

How Ighalo became the highest goalscorer in the EPL 2015.

The coming together of average players with an hunger to succeed would be a team to beat.

All we ask for is that recognition be given to average players who've done some extraordinary things.
Is Osaze average? I don't think so. He was the second highest goal scorer in ligue 1 at one time.

Is undoing was not going to Juventus to win trophies and that could had brightened his chances of winning the APOTY.

I think his goal scoring record as a RW is better than Kanu Nwankwo who played as a SS and CF.

Many people are scared their players will not make it to Russia. Sentimental beings..

Even my favorite player Victor Moses, needs more competition. There is no room for laxity. Every player must fight till the last day in camp to deserve a place in Russia. Let the invitations keep coming. Competition will get stiffer, players will raise their game up. It is for the good of the team.

Having said that, the defenders I want us to invite include:

Tosin Adarabioyo
Dominic Iorfa
Kingsley Ehizibue
Jordan Torunarigha
Felix Uduokhai
Kevin Akpoguma
Efe Ambrose
Nura Abdullahi
Kenny Otigba

Yes the players who do not finally make it are ever welcome to fight another day #QatarInView

All those saying Echiejile's place is guaranteed. You are defending a guy who since his move from Portugal has not been able to cement a starting spot for every club he has moved to. Una really like mediocrity. Not like he is even shining in the GWG. His days are numbered in SE.

Modified
Even Musa Yahaya (for RWB) as training material. Yes I said so
Out of the CBs in your list only Iorfa is ready to play for Nigeria nau nau though I pray we convince the rest.

March is still far and anything can still happen.

However, I will either go for Ukpobai and Adarabioyo for the remaining slot for the CB position (if possible both) and will bring either Torunarigha or Deji Beyreuther to replace Echiejile in LB position but I think Torunarigha stands a better chance because he can play CB in 3 mans defence.

Ehizibue, Nura and are top talents. They can also play as a RW.

Hull’s Odubajo Set For February Return After Long Injury Lay-off

Peter Oriaku
Nigerian-born former England U-20 defender Moses Odubajo has set his sights on returning to full training in February after being sidelined with injury since 2016. Odubajo, 24, has not featured in a competitive game for Hull since the Championship play-off final win over Sheffield Wednesday in May 2016 after suffering a freak injury on the eve of last season.

A dislocated kneecap initially ended plans for a Premier League debut but two further setbacks have since left the right-back sidelined for a total of 17 months.

And according to Hull Daily Mail Odubajo who is still qualified to play for Nigeria as he has never been capped by England at senior level, is now hopeful he can get the green light to resume full training at the end of next month.

“I’m due to the see the specialist at the end of January and hopefully it will be good news for a return-to-play date,” Odubajo told Hull Daily Mail.

“From here it’s all pretty straightforward if things go to plan.

“I’m doing some training outdoors now which is good and I’m always around the boys again. Over the Christmas period there’ll be a little bit of rest but then get ready to go again in the New Year.

“I’m only looking forward now and fingers crossed I’ll be making my return before the end of the season.

“Only time will tell but I’m optimistic. I just feel like it’s only a matter of time before things go my way.”

Hull who also parade Super Eagles defender Ola Aina are currently 19th on 22 points in the Championship.

Can he make it? If he comes out of injury and he eventually displaces Aina, then I know he is good enough for the WC.

My Son Won’t Play For Nigeria – Father Of Bundesliga Rising Star Torunarigha Tell Rohr
May 15, 201703620

Former Nigeria youth international forward Ojokojo Torunarigha has confirmed his son Jordan Torunarigha is not interested in playing for the senior national team of Nigeria.

Torunarigha is rated as one of the upcoming defenders in the German Bundesliga, where he scored his first senior goal over the weekend in their 2-0 win over Darrmstadt from his role as a left back.

He is presently with the U-20 team of Germany, and his father confirmed Nigeria have approached his son over a switch of allegiance as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, but he told them his son is not interested in playing for Nigeria.

” I always say to him play like you can play football, and you can see it has helped him progress from the youth team of Hertha Berlin to the main team, and also for Germant through U-16 and now U-20. We were approached by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

” They wanted my son to play for Nigeria but I told them he is not interested “, said the father who played 12 matches for Nigeria and also represented Chemnitzer FC in the 1990s.

Presently he works at Hertha Berlin as coach of the U-10 of the Bundesliga side, and aside Jordan his other son Junior plays for Dutch second division side Fortuna Sittard, who are coached by former coach of the Nigeria national team Sunday Oliseh.

http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/15/my-son-wont-play-for-nigeria-father-of-bundesliga-rising-star-torunarigha-tell-rohr/

However his father Ojokojo who played 12 games for Nigeria in the 80’s revealed he told Nigeria that his son is not interested. A claim which Jordan has now confirmed.

Jordan is yet to team up with the Germany U-20 team at the World Youth Championship in South Korea due to the club duties, and he reckons progressing through the ranks at Germany is his aim.

“ I was told of the interest from Nigeria by my father but as someone who has played for Nigeria in the past, he advised me to focus on progressing through the ranks with Germany instead of considering a switch to Nigeria “, he said.

Whether he said it or nor is inconsequential to me because me I still want us to get him but for clarification sake, you can read the reason he has not pledged to play for us.

Oga stop getting too heated up about the issue. Adarabioyo deserves an approach. But hey don’t forget Rohr did not make a move on Tammy.
It looks like there has always been an intermediary that has a relationship with the player of interest. Rohr is in the best position to talk to the German trio for obvious reasons.
Na who tell you I sm getting heated about the issue?

I am only pointing out the hypocritical and bias analyses of people here.

The point is the three German boys have rejected Rohr's advances and they did it openly thesame way the Queen's boys did but nobody is against or in objection against such move. Why?

But why are they against or in objection of those Queen's boys? grin

Is that not double standard?

Some people are not here to scout better players for the team all they want is their brothers in the team but me, I no go block my sense of reasoning with sentiments else I become a daft headed being devoid of critical common sense grin

That's why I don't bother if a FB rejected us at first because I know the heart of man is designed to change hence my open heartedness towards any naija player both home and abroad.

Your write up is supposed to be in reference to my post, which is essentially about KC in Leicester city.

However, you moved away from the main subject to carry out a number of negatively prejudiced presumptions that have no substance what so ever. So let’s break it down as if we are in the classroom and a misguided student is leading the classroom astray.

Consider the absurdity of the presumption you have make that I holistically specially undermine Nigerian players and continuously do so is implied in your rhetoric. First counter question, when and where huh please state. I have been advocating, advising and enabling Black African origin including Nigerian players in English football for donkey years. So that is total balderdash.

But I will stick with recent times, I have been advocating for into the English EPL and or as quality players that can add quality to the SE, such as Mba, Etebo and highlighted as well advocated the qualities of Ighalo, Enyeama, Ighalo, Obagoal, Joel, Ambrose, Aluko, Mikel and many others are these players from India and China huh. So that makes your unfounded prejudiced proposition nonsensical.

What is apparent is that your write is not about the main subject of my post but your negative misguided impression about me. I have definitely and continuously highlighted Nigerian origin players that in my opinion can still cut it and could bring additional quality to the SE. I am involved with English football primarily, so I have in depth specialist knowledge. If that is your definition of bias its wrong.

There are two main groups with regard to KC on this thread, the emotive, sentimental he can do no wrong group and the constructive realist group that says he needs to up his game. Excellence is achieved from hard work, realism and constructive criticism.

You seem not to understand basic subtlety and figurative speech, “you are only as good as your last game”. This implies that each game either pulls you up or pulls you down and football has always been a short-term profession, as a result time is something you do not get a lot of.

Then the next thing you did was to comment on things you really have no idea about but rely on hearsay and what you read in the papers. KC was considered by a number of different clubs true, but Leicester was the only club willing to accept the terms City offered irrespective of how unreasonable they were. You may call it desperation or whatever on the part of Leicester and also on the part of KC, who knew he wasn’t going to get game time in City.

You talked about one of the biggest scams and financial flops in English football Andy Carroll. The manager of Liverpool Kenny Dalglish had an interest in the agency that negotiated the deal Andy in turn sacked his legal agent two weeks before the transfer was made.

In football actions speak louder than words, I have known too many managers to learn this very valuable lesson. Marco is simply speaking up a player he has no time for and does not rate and needs to still make some money on. And you misguidedly use that as a basis to say success is quality. Indeed, he may be but with his attitude and approach I would say the EPL is not for him.

Finally, in your comparison to players playing in the lower tier, I will say it’s better to be an outstanding player in a lower tier of the league than a dead one that doesn’t even warm the bench in a higher tier of the league. Meanwhile the gap is not as huge as you may think Bristol city have just proved that in the FA cup after beating Man U.

Finally, finally i talked about the rise of Demerai Grey from bench warmer to first man on the team sheet and that was from initial training not games. You cannot accuse both Managers of bias that's simply not being true. I will not bother talking about Danny Ings who I see almost day to day and the others you mention.

You need to move away from the emotive to the objective, upgrade and download increase your knowledge base learn from those who are informed on this forum. And don't just be a fan that thinks the loudest shout wins the game.
@bolded is accepted by me.

Torunarigha – My father told me to shun Nigeria for Germany

EMMANUEL OKOGBA
21 MAY 2017

Highly rated German-Nigerian defender Jordan Torunarigha has confirmed his father Ojokojo Torunarigha told him playing for Germany is best for his career than representing Nigeria.

As reported, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) approached the 19 year old Hertha Berlin left back to switch allegiance to Nigeria from Germany where he has played at four different youth levels.

However his father Ojokojo who played 12 games for Nigeria in the 80’s revealed he told Nigeria that his son is not interested. A claim which Jordan has now confirmed.

Super Eagles forward terminated his contract with Konyaspor

.com

Dec 22, 2017 6:52 AM

Super Eagles forward, Imoh Ezekiel, has officially terminated his contract with his Turkish outfit, Konyaspor over breach of agreement according to reports.

The 24-year-old Ezekiel who has one cap for Nigeria has failed to rediscover his goalscoring form he has during his spell in Belgium where he scored 35 goals from 140 appearances in Jupiler but Konyaspor is not treating striker very well in the last six months according to his agent, Haji Liammed Gafaar.

“Imoh has terminated his contract and he is a free player now,” Gafaar told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“All what he was promised by Konyaspor when he signed, none of them were fulfilled, and in those conditions it’s difficult for a young player like Imoh to thrive. He is a young player with a lot of potentials.”

Ezekiel signed a three year deal with Konyaspor worth £3.75m last summer from Qatari side, Al Arabi where gone to made 9 appearances and no single goals before he terminated his deal with the club.
I don't think there is anything wrong with his career. The guy threw away money to come down to Turkey but dem no wan pay am the small money dem suppose pay.

I think it is better he terminates that contract and moves to a better league or club.

Besides, it was only last season and 3 seasons ago he didn't play in Belgium because he obviously went for money since Nigeria is not interested in him even if he scorces one million goals in a season.

Yes he is, that's the position begging for personnel(s) in that midfield. If Sokari comes good (secures a move to France), then, we would have a better sub in him for John Mikel. The few times Ndubuisi Agu subbed Mikel, our midfield crumbled and it lead to calls for Joel Obi, Azubuike Okechukwu et al.

Come March, I would wanna say thank goodness for the emergence of Sokari.

Off topic; From an insider, Rohr is making progress with his pursuit of the German trio. I heard they were sent a template to study the plans of the coach and how they will fit in. Rohr is seriously considering the 3-5-2 formation and OLA Aina might miss the World Cup. It's a straight battle between Aina and Shehu whoever does better in the scrimmages gets the nod to join Ebuehi who has booked his ticket with his impeccable performance against Argentina. Aina is better going forward when we play four at the back but Shehu defends better, it's a pussle (Rohr's headache).

Fingers crossed ; if Rohr succeeds in luring these boys before March, then expect this rearguard against Poland ;

...........Ebuehi Ndidi Mikel Onazi Idowu

............................Moses Iwobi

I was expecting to get reactions from the @bolded but I was not disappointed there was no reactions.

However, when I mentioned Tosin Adarabioyo, Dominic Solanke, Lookman Ademola, Kehinde etc we saw negative reactions. shocked grin Maka why?

What is the difference btw these German boys to the Queen's boys?

Did they not all openely rejected us?

Tyronne Ebuehi Ranked Among The Top Five Right Backs In Eredivisie
Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi has been ranked among the top five right-backs plying their trade in the Dutch Eredivisie by Voetbal Primeur.

With the first half of the season almost concluded, the Dutch football website asked followers of the Eredivisie to pick their Team of the Season so far and Ebuehi has been shortlisted for the right-back position.

Ebuehi, who celebrated his 22nd birthday last week, was nominated alongside another Dutch-born Nigerian player, Kingsley Ehizibue (PEC Zwolle), who is being monitored by the Nigerian Federation, with a view to a call-up to the national team.

Jonas Svensson (AZ), Santiago Arias (PSV) and Denzel Dumfries (sc Heerenveen) were also listed among the top five right backs in the division.

This season, Ebuehi has started all but one of the matches contested by ADO Den Haag in the league, he was not available for selection against FC Groningen on December 2 due to the red card he received the previous weekend.

Ehizibue has been a key player at PEC Zwolle this term, starting all their seventeen matches in the league and clocking up 1,523 minutes.

The two players are represented by ex- Feyenoord star Wessel Weezenberg.

NFF Target Jordon Ibe Impressed Against Chelsea - Bournemouth Coach

NFF Target Jordon Ibe Impressed Against Chelsea - Bournemouth Coach
Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe was satisfied with the performance of Jordon Ibe in his side's narrow 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the quarterfinal of the League Cup on Wednesday night.

The Cherries were forced to make a substitution as early as the 17th minute when Ibe replaced the injured Jermain Defoe, and they were some positives from the former Liverpool starlet, with the highlight of his performance being the assist he provided for the equalizer scored by Gosling on 90 minutes.

''I think our squad is very well balanced and the players that came in impressed. We know the players that we can rely on and tonight’s performance will lift them and it will lift us,'' Howe told Bournemouth's official website.

''Jordon [Ibe] played more centrally today. It was a bit of a risk as he hasn’t done that much for us, but he showed his ability to find space and cause problems, with his pace a real threat.''

Jordon Ibe, 22, made his 20th appearance of the season against Chelsea, and has clocked up 1,058 minutes in total.

The former England youth international was approached by ex-Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh to play for Nigeria two years ago but his answer was negative as at that time.

Are you sure about the above? There are a lot of players out there begging to be called up and u want us to continue chasing the Queen's boys, from Ryan sanusi to Cyril desser even the one in NEC forgotten his name are begging for attention.
I will advise we leave the Queen's boys let them show interest first, don't want that Tammy embarrassment again.
These are German machine, not Queen's boys.

All are welcome.

Only Kehinde has expressed some form of interest(think his coach said he'd pick us). Tosin has rejected us twice already.
Solanke is a no go and a total waste of time. That guy doesn't give a shit about naija
Lookman is probably 50/50. Still think he will wait till he's a bit older before he commits.
NFF will not go after Tammy again. That one na closed case.
There was a time when Solanke beckoned to play for Nigeria but Nigeria ignored him because he played in Eredivise.

Adarabioyo can be approached now because we can convince him we need a Defender for the WC mundial.

Lookman can be approached now too.

bro...I will really doubt their allegiance...if they should come play for us...just to partake in the world cup...what happen after the world cup....?

you see the treatment we got from Moses at some point even pinnick had to talk about it....

that's what you get...when this lad are begged to come play for us..

let us carry ourselves wit pride alittle and let this lad long for us also....we are not dearth of talents in this country though we been having management problems......
Which pride?

Even America wey get pride dey follow drag talents, how much more Nigeria.

Which is more important btw allegiance and winning laurels?

Vicmo has always delivered any time any day. He was the one who helped us to win the AFCON and even qualify for the WC. His that not all you wanted?

So, what is the problem if these players can add something to the team?

Iwobi didn't reject Nigeria, same with Victor Moses.

Tammy Abraham's case is a serious one, he rejected and made it clear that Nigeria was never in his plan.

If we should accept him now , then his likes can go on and try their lucks in their country of birth and come back when they lose form.
Vicmo also did the same. It was after England ignored him he changed his mind to play for Nigeria.

Na Samson Siasia convinced him to commit to play for Nigeria.
