Mickael2: my brother, you deserve a hug. I have been saying the same thing, what is the use of winning possession if you will lose it almost immediately? well they said it a because of his synergy with Mikel but then Casemiro came into the real Madrid midfield midway through last season and he still got along well with Modric and Kroos so synergy is just a lame excuse. Ndidi was playing like Busquets yesterday, even better I must add, so why is he sitting on the bench for a Lazio reject? No offence Lazio reject!? |

ChrisKels: Sir, honestly I don't rate Onazi. His wayward passes are way too infuriating. People always tell us how workaholic he is, but my question is the use of him winning possession and lose it immediately due his inability to give a simple pass? Worst of all he ain't disciplined and he fails to understand his role too. I rate Azubuike okechukwu even higher...
U saw younger Ndidi doing his job as though he was a veteran today right? That's what he does week in week out, if u had been following the Belgian league. That's typical of a good DMF Commot Mikel, commot Onazi, Nigeria's midfield will fall yakata. |

How can he become good if you want him to feel satisfied with 7 goals in 22 Starts?
He can do better.
We are saying for now, we have young players ahead of him. Solanke should keep working hard to become a top player. Who are those young players ahead of him? |

I know it may be too early to complain but I remember Iheanacho scoring goals and impressing during the few early games he got with mancity youth teams.
I hope not but we may have over hyped this boy beyond his abilities. That Emmanuel Amunike's team is full of overrated players. I will only single out 1 player(although I like Michael) from that set. The rest na poho. How dey won the U17 competition is simply based on tik tak football. Seriously, the most valuable player in U17 is finding it hard to play in a second division? #AnalyseWithConscience When I said Iwobi is a Toddler to Solanke, I didn't blink an eye. Logical it is very correct based on some statistics. Iwobi was nobody in the English under age set up when Dominic Solanke was pulling the string. Iwobi was dusted again by Dominic Solanke in club youth setup. In all the youth competitions they both participated Dominic Solanke was better than Iwobi. He was voted England Youth player of the year ahead of Iwobi who was never nominated eventhough he was an English youth player as at then. He was chosen to play with the 3 Lions. He has gone to play in Champions League ahead him. Currently, he is a third striker in the fourth best club in the world. Do you think he bribed his way through like dey do here? |

Forgiveness is mistaking as a Bigot by Supernerd. It's obvious Forgiveness does mention Names related to Yoruba, but that ain't making him a Bigot.
The Names he has mentioned are Nigerians born outside the Continent. Forgiveness is simply a big Fan of foreign Born Players.
The other thing I noticed about him is; he's advocating for a national Team that respects Quota System. And he believes..... with the foreign-born Players, talented Players from other Tribes won't be an issue!
I hope Supernerd can retract the negative things he has posted to degrade the personality of Forgiveness, also I hope Forgiveness will seek for forgiveness from the Monikers he has offended. TheSuperNerd: Last I checked, there was never a time I lost.... But it's never about winning an argument for me.
It's about you watching who you term "fat liar".
It's about "Truth". So watch it....
Tammy was more prolific than solanke in youth football sef... (he played similar quantity of matches like solanke so why not use him then... Why nacho who played far far less)
Nacho played far lesser matches than both in youth football at man city and had a great goal ratio also.... so saying one is more prolific than Nacho when Nacho played less than 12 games and one of either Tammy or Solanke played over 30 games is not a true statement at all.
Trying hard to salvage something for your solanke.... How funny... *smiles* You won only once and it is because I had no time to cross check his data. I said that is 'a fat lie'. My statement was not active, it was passive. We are talking about Iheanacho you are talking about Tammy. Solanke was prolific than Iheanacho in youth club football. Simple. Or are you saying if Solanke is playing in EPL he would have scored more goals than Iheanacho? |

tbaba1234: EXCLUSIVE: Rohr Lines Up Dutch-Nigerian Ebuehi As Alternative To Musa Mohammed
Reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com by sources close to the coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr, has it that the German coach is making plans to call up Tyronne Ebuehi.
Ebuehi is presently one of the names under consideration as alternative to Musa Mohammed, who has been struggling to get games at Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.
20 year old Ebuehi plays for ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands, where he has made four appearances in the Dutch top flight league with a goal to his name.
Born in the Netherlands to Nigerian parents, his switch won’t pose most of a problem to Nigeria as he is yet to be capped by the Netherlands.
” The young boy who plays in the Netherlands Ebuehi, is seriously under consideration. He is doing well in a top league. Rohr is watching him at close quarters. Let me just say he could replace Musa Mohammed in the team” a source told Owngoalnigeria.com.

BlackAlbino6: Amokachi Says Nigerians Pay NGN250,000 to Play for U-17 Written by Amos Joseph
Ex-international Daniel Amokachi has alleged that Nigerian youth are levied up to a tune of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250,000) to be selected to represent their fatherland Nigeria at U-17 National team cadre.
Speaking at an event with the coalition of Civil Society Organisations, CSOs, operating under the aegis of National Support Groups for Good Governance, NASUGG, protesting in support of war against corruption in Abuja, as reported by Vanguard, the Bull as he is nicknamed pinpointed that corruption has eaten deep into sports in the country.
“My name is Daniel Amokachi. I have said I will support the movement, because in my field which is sports, corruption is endemic.
“Corruption has invaded sports so deeply that even in FIFA headquarters in Zurich, we saw how the world stood up and said.
“Enough is enough!” We saw how the president, Sepp Blatter was not spared. He was removed from office because integrity matters when it comes to the constitution.
“President Buhari is one who doesn’t take nonsense when it comes to fighting corruption. I concur with everything he says.
“For instance, in Nigerian football today, the youths, when invited to the national team, a coach will ask them to bring N250,000 each to get into the U-17 team when he already has the talent. If a person has talent, he should be allowed to showcase what he has in the interest of the nation.
It could be recalled that PageOne.ng recently wrote an article themed ‘Continued Biased Refereeing will kill Nigeria Football League’buttressing how the football federation in conjunction with the Referee body must take seriously the issue of referee to help the game.
Amokachi further noted “A small team cannot win the Nigerian league because all the people in Nigerian football are corrupt. If a referee is bribed and a match is won here, the match cannot be won there.
“The judiciary is not above the law. Mr. President is on a good path’’, he said.
Amokachi was former assistant manager of the Nigeria national football team and currently the manager of Finnish 2nd division side JS Hercules. It remains to be seen what this allegation will generate into both from the coaches who have at one point in time handled the National team and the Nigerian Football Federation itself.

Mickael2: nothing wey man no go hear. With the best coach? Conte is the best coach? With the best players? I thought you were talking about Chelsea since, oh wait you are, so who are the best players? You wanna compare? Costa to Aguero? Atleast Iheanacho is easily better than Bats-whatever who is actually higher in the pecking order than Solanke. De Bruyne to who? Hazard? Willian? De Bruyne got injured and the Man City train came to a complete halt, so if you think that Hazard is better at this point in time, then sorry. Or will you compare Stones and Otamendi and even Kompany to old man Ivanovic? Calamitous Cahil? Bunny Luiz? Who! If I play at Chelsea and I am in the 3rd choice then I am worth nothing. Which games will he play? None. I don't want to mention Arsenal because Ozil alone is better than all their midfield combined, when you add Sanchez alone that one na die.
Wait sef, this isn't making sense to me, what are we arguing? Solanke played in a far weaker league and played more minutes than Iheanacho yet he scored less goals, what are we still arguing? Ok, Gbolaham Salami has scored 15 goals in the Finland league, he is better than Solanke. Is Manchester City among the top 5 or 10 clubs in the world? Look below and tell me the answer.

Icon4s: See, this issue of "facts and statistics" is some times over-rated. If it is based on "facts and statistics" someone like Okocha no go come near Victor Ikpeba career-wise.
On the list of top 10 young players we voted for 2-3 weeks ago was Dominic Solanke there? As far as i can remember the counts Iwobi was in top 3.
And that same Iwobi is a toddler to Solanke? Forgiveness, sometimes abeg dey argue with conscience. Why Okocha no go come near Victor Ikpeba? What are the things used to choose best players without statistics? Of course, Iwobi and Iheanacho are good players who are lucky to be given the chance to prove themselves and they didn't disappoint by making use of the opportunities given to them. We can't say they are not good if they were not given the chance because we know they are good. So, seating on the bench for now doesn't remove anything from his talent. After all, 'it is better to train with the best players and best coach in the world' (in TheGoodJoe's voice) hahahaha! Abi no bi so una take tell me before when I said Iheanacho na bench warmer at the early stage of last season while Dominic Solanke was playing regularly for Vitesse? Now, the things he said then is coming back to hunt him. I no dey forgot thinks but I will always make sure I have evidence to back my claims. We know Iwobi position was due to the irregularities exhibited by our people. |
