Uhmmm.... I hope you're aware you made no sense.... Looollllll... You're just one talkative funny clown honestly.... Skipping facts and quoting other facts and then twisting others... Look... Anyone is free is talk okay but know this:

"When it comes to Records and The Truth in the beautiful Game, You can't run from it.... All you can do is deny it like it doesn't exist... But the truth remains" smiley

Nonsense remains Nonsense no matter who says it... Live with the "whole" facts... And not "some"
E pain am! grin Record pass records.

Has Kanu Nwankwo ever won AFCON best player of the tournament? grin

Has Kanu Nwankwo ever won highest goal scorer in League? grin

Has Kanu Nwankwo ever won the highest goal scorer in a competition? grin

Has Kanu Nwankwo ever made AFCON team of the tournament?

Did Kanu Nwankwo qualify Nigeria to BIGGEST FIFA ORGANISED COMPETITION IN THE WORLD which happens to be the WORLD CUP? grin

Did Kanu Nwankwo ever scored in FIFA BIGGEST ORGANISED COMPETITION IN THE WORLD(not Europe or unrecognised Olympics for U23 TATAS)? grin
Now, this is making sense. grin

Are these not records and truths in the beautiful game of football?

Indomie noodles generations will never rewrite the history of Nigerian football. Sorry. grin

No, 1 Rashidi Yekini, no 2, grin

Do you read at all? Do you understand me at all? Have I been saying Yekini isn't a super legend. Chaiiii.... Stop the "garrulousness"... wink

I could ask similar questions as to where Yekini was when Finidi and Amuneke were hitting big heights themselves but that would mean I am putting down a legend. I refuse to do that.... smiley

I don't wanna talk too much. The records and accolades and achievements in both "Green&White" and "Club football" are there for all to see.... KANU IS TRULY NIGERIA'S NO.1... MIKEL IS EASILY NIGERIA'S NO.2 AND FINIDI IS NO.3..... YEKINI, OKOCHA, KESHI, ENYEAMA, AND THREE OUT OF THE MANY SUPER LEGENDS WE HAVE MAKE UP THE REMAINDER OF THE TOP 10.

I do this by combining all known parameters. The records put together do not lie... smiley
I thought you claimed without those players he could not had scored. grin Chai! I exposed am.

I hope you agreed they contributed nothing during those era. Sorry. grin

Well, it is only indomie noodles generation that will ask 'where Yekini was when Finidi and Amunike where hitting big heights'. In Europe? grin

Sorry! We no dey watch European football leagues in the 70s/80s because African football league was great and that was where African footballer of the year emerged then. Even Pele can testify to it. Sorry. grin

Kanu did not play top nine. At Ajax, there was Kluivert. At Inter, there was Ronaldo De Lima and Ivan Zamorano at Arsenal, there was Wiltord, Henry and Bergkamp.

He was more of an architect of the brilliant attacking plays of the teams he played for.
Oga. Kanu played as a top nine. He sometimes came from the bench to replace Kluivert.

At Inter Milan, he was just a ball boy because of his heart disease. He added nothing to that team..

At Arsenal, he was just part time player nothing more. He holds the record of 115 substitution from the bench. The 3rd in EPL history.

TheSuperNerd needs to shout Yekini is a Super Legend 500 times for some to get it. He agrees Yekini is one of Africa's greatest but Kanu is a bigger one. So telling him Yekini is great justifies TheSuperNerd's stand.

He respects and adores Yekini. He just points out Kanu is greater.
Kanu is not even in top 3.

We are not talking about laurels won by attachment but laurels won by individual impact. grin

Yekini wasn't even our stand-out performer at USA 1994. Or u wanna say the contrary?
Was Finidi there when he was the 2nd highest goal scorer in 1990?

Was Amokachi there when he became the highest goal scorer in 1992 AFCON?

Was Amuneke there when he scored all the goals to become highest goal scorer in 1994 AFCON? grin

That is based on looking at Yekini's records in Africa and counting out Kanu's influential works in Europe.

When you look at accomplishments, Yekini is not in the top three.
Point of correction. It is based on Yekini's records in Africa and Europe combine.

So, you don't know he won Prata de Bola in Europe and scored Nigeria's first goal in the biggest FIFA ORGANISED COMPETITION? grin

Europe is Continental and not international, so is Africa.

But nope.... You go blind to certain facts and open your eyes to the ones that support your points.

So what facts do you speak of coz I know you too well... You talk from both sides of your mouth.

If Yekini had Kanu's allround achievements, That is the angle you would be arguing from. Haba!!! Egbon... U sef!!!

Look, "Yeking" (I call him that smiley ) is no doubt One of the very top legends we have in Nigerian football but there's no way he's no.1... He's not even top 3. #fact. He's most definitely Top 5. So save it.... wink

Though not in support of some guys and ethnocentric comments on football discuss, which remain the only sector bereft of ethnic brouhaha.

FCIfeanyiuba today have almost equal yoruba players to igbo players + other foriegn players!

However, In just 16years Enyimba has surpased what ever record 3SC must have recorded!

Heartland, Rangers and Enyimba have won more league titles than 3SC but 3sc still have the edge over heartland and Rangers @continental records! Enyimba still remain Nigeria's most succesful clubside
Is 4 greater than 5? The last time I checked, 3SC won the League 5 times which makes them the 3rd behind Rangers and Enyimba, while Heartland only won the League 4 times.

Enyimba is the most successful clubside in Nigeria followed by 3SC based at continental records.

Those are my two favourite clubs. I don't know why Oyo state government doesn't want to sell the club to nairabet. I believe if they sell it, 3SC go do something.

Roger Milla is a legend and we adore his contribution to the development of African football.

Compared to Eto'o come on. From the top of my head.

Nations cup in Nigeria Ghana 2000. The Sidney Olympics in 2000. The Champions league, La Liga and Copa Del Rey Under Guardiola at Barcelona, the treble under Mourinho at Inter Milan.

Haba. Eto'o was remarkable.
You may go ask any Cameroonian and they will tell you Roger Milla. Because he brought more glory to them than Eto in terms of national team.

Why do you think they called an 39 years old man from retirement to represent them in the world cup?
