I personally met d tortoise anf interracted with it. Its indeed old.
As a matter of fact, it understand some basic yoruba language like greetings and basic instructions. It has its own "orderlies" who tale care of its movement and feeding.
That creature is truly around dat age range.

I don't agree. Yes he won the election. Yes he was widely supported by Nigerians both in the north and south.

However, all these are not enough for us to say he would have been a great leader.

The problem is Nigerians have really short memory. This is a man that stole funds that would have helped the common man. Used the money to enrich himself. Came back spraying the money around because he had political agenda and the same common man who was robbed in the first place said he was generous. To me that is far from being generous.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we do not know if Abiola would have made a good leader. I for one would agree with Fela when it comes to Abiola because he wasn't wrong about Obasanjo who came back as a civilian president and was still a thief.

Obviously, u relied on too much hearsay. Y not pick literatures and do some interviews to understand how Abiola made his money?
The fact that he owed no one before becoming president was another reason that powers that be would not allow him. His allegiance would have been to the Nigerian people.

I am compelled to quote dis ur post because of a recent rant on my wall where a lady I dont even know who participated in my wife's maid of honour group during our wedding over 2yrs ago. She was complaining DAT d wedding was not top class, no enof wine and no plenty dance. Over 2yrs ago fa.
Truth be told, i spent less for d wedding but God has blessed me with a baby boy, a car and a developing building.
I was shocked and ask her to calm down, she responded DAT she wasted her time attention d wedding I apologised and let her continue d ranting.
One thing she said DAT made me quote ur post was DAT if she was my wife, she would not have agreed to marry me. 2yrs down d line, if u ask my wife she will reaffirm her desire to marry me. Now dis lady is still searching for d already made guy.
I just used dis small piece to advice ladies to look beyond d present, be ready to work hard and minimize unrealistic expectations.

We are all at liberty to believe whatever we intend to believe but the standard remains the SCRIPTURE.
It is appointed unto man to die once, after that, is judgment.
Have u ever pondered on the concept and existence of "familiar spirits"? Its basically their handiwork.
Instilling fear into humans by bringing memories and images of dead relatives.
Once in a while, the images of departed souls may come around in our dreams probably due to our lines of thoughts before sleeping but that does not validate their existence. They are all figments of our imagination. I have been looking for opportunity to see my late dad again since he passed on last year but till now, NO SHOW
He is gone and rested forever.........till we meet in glory.
Traditions of men passed across in movies, tales and write ups also contributed to the spread of this fallacy.
I have also watched many of such movies and have always pointed out to their inconsistent nature of presenting the stories.
Dear friends, a man is meant to die once, and NO COMING BACK

Presently managing same situation in my home. She came to greet, stayed few days, saw job advert and used my house as address. Job advert is in d state I redid while she stays in another far away state. Left after a week and came back for job interview, got lucky and employed. Now we are staying together.
How am I handling such? With the help of God, I "sister-zoned" her and make her feel like a kid sister @ 26 yrs. Of course she is. I tell her to her face dat seductive dressing is for cheap harlot and that everything i ever dreams of in a woman is in my wife (her sister).
Over time, all seductions disappeared and I became her relationship counsellor. We know our boundaries and limits. As a rule, her undies must not be visible around me, thats what I told my wife and she is abiding by it.
So With the help of God and clear conscience, you can overcome. But if all avenue fails, tell her to leave in the most understanding manner. U could help in resettljng her financially if needed. But bro,
U MUST BE TRUTHFUL TO YOURSELF

MKO Abiola never threw bible into the ocean. It was all propaganda. ITT was not his personal company, he was a staff that rose through the ranks and with a stroke of luck (helping the ITT corporation recover some huge debt from the FG) His personal company, RCN is still operating. The only issue he had was his political alignment with forces against the Late Awo towards the 1983 election. They both reconciled in 1989 where Aw christened him OMOBOWALE. That was what ushered him into SDP for the HOPE 93 Campaign.
MKO ABIOLA could not rule Nigeria partly because of his campaign for "Reparation" which did not go down well with world powers most especially, the USA and other well documented issues.

Had he been allowed to actualize his mandate, I believe our story in Nigeria may have been different

As much as i love the tenacity and optimism of the OP, the truth is that Egg dealership is becoming harder this days because farmers now sell directly to retailers and even consumers. And another point is that prices now go for around 1k per crate, even from the farm. So dealership is profitable only on a large scale where supply is done on a large scale and a unit marginal profit can make sense on the long run.
Though with God, all things are possible but realities are there for us to see.
