Hello great NL moms. This thread is for working moms who inevitably have to work and be separated from their babies at a very tender age, some as early as 3months

How did u cope or are you coping?? I am a first time mom with a 15months cute baby girl. I had to stop working even before she was born to prepare well for her coming and I have not gone back to work ever since because I want to play my part in the best way possible. Now due to personal family issues beyond me I need to return to work meaning I would need to enrol my child in a daycare.

I am scared to death!!! I need some tips and inspirations from mothers who are or have been in this situation. I want to hear the best and the worst. I need to know what to look out for when fixing her in a daycare, how to protect my baby girl even in my absence, how to ensure she is protected from abusers and how to cope with the anxiety of working an 8-6 job while your little one is away in the care of another

Please do not judge or preach about how i should personally care for my child at home, like a lot of other mothers out there I would have if I could but sadly this is the only option I have for now.

just because a lady is not a virgin doesn't mean she goes to bed with men freely. Sex for a woman involves emotions,besides she may have decided to wait,some people who aren't virgins can also be celibate.

Pls Teamies, let's endeavour to drop both BA and BS as soon as we can. God will strengthen us through the vigilante period.
We shall not suffer postpartum depression and there shall be no loss of any kind.

Teamies, I hope we still have our alarm on for our 3rd TT. Don't forget to keep the date as many of us will be next month by which we may be too busy to remember due to vigilante.

@ Mama chocome, niphmmy, olu21ola, bukunfunmi, divie, temmytayur, and luckygirl02, how are you holding on past EDD? Don't stop trying all the labour inducing exercise, fruits, food, etc. and always speak to your LOs. God will take absolute control.

Thanks able caPpo,we're taking it one day at a time as baby seems to be taking his time. I've been having mild menstrual cramps like pain and occasional sharp pains down below, difficulty turning and getting up at night,heartburn, other than these we're good. How are you holding up too?

After taking that my garden egg leave juice and condensed milk, my sisters, I start purge ooo. I kept on purging and purging. I took 3 bottles of sprite mixed with salt and sugar before I got myself back. Don't know if the concoction made me purge or my system just decided to purge itself. Next time, I will chew the thing, no juicing sef.
Just thought I should share since I posted it here before someone will decide to try it.

high blood pressure and pre eclampsia has been dealing with me, I take every hypertension drugs for pregnant women yet no change in the bp.. it is now as bad as my bp rises to 186/124... the group of doctors handling my case are just trying to manage me till 35 weeks to undergo CS so that this bp issue will be solved once and for all...I need your prayers...

Yesterday midnight, i have a serious braxton hicks that i thought it was labour.

I started purging since midnight till this morning too but after 0RS water this morning, it subdued.

I am just begging this lovely jewel to hold on till next month ooooo.

Good evening my people. May God see all of us through this journey. Please I have 2 questions to ask. 1. Am currently 6 weeks gone and need to travel to Lagos from Warri to write a job test. Can I make this journey by road? 2. Is there anything i can take or be eating to reduce nausea? I am always nauseous without actually vomitting. If vomit manage come out na only large amounts of spit but food or anything dosent settle well with me without having that contant feeling of throwing up. Thank you in advance for your answers.

you can (I did) but try to get water and light foods/snacks in your bag and other things that can help you manage the nausea.

it is,I've been having them for days now but they're on and off. When it's the real deal you'll know,nobody wee tell you.

I am thanking God for life, for his goodness n mercies, for his love for me and my family, for d grace to be who I am today, and for a peaceful home. I thank God that despite 9 yrs plus of ttc, I and dh cld still hold hands and laugh, my marriage is waxing stronger each day against d wishes of d enemy. I thank God for healing and restoring my joy. I lost my job last year and lost all my life savings and was in a huge debt. I was so depressed, and i lost touch wd d world. I almost left my home. Thank God for a loving, caring and God fearing dh. Yes, God fearing dh. He exhibited great maturity and love that overwhelmed me despite all that i did, he showed me love. Looking back, I am greateful to God that we are still together today. I thank God for all d lovely people he has blessed me wd. Not forgetting my wonderful e-family. I cannot quantify d strength i drew from here during those dark days of depression. Thank you for ur love. My prayer is that d promises of God regarding fruitfulness will be made manifest in d lives of each and everyone of us IJN.
I used to be very sad on a day like this because of ttc but guess wht? i choose to be happy today courtesy of dh. May God bless him. He cooked dinner for us b4 i came back from evening service and he prayed some wonderful prayers for me. He sd i shd watch out for surprises. Hmmm, i can't wait. I am blessed. It may not always be heaven, but I knw d match was definitely made from there. I return all glory to God Almighty for everything. I knw God is not done wd me yet, i knw he will perfect that which concerns me, i knw he will comfort me on every side n grant d desires of my heart, for d thought he has toward me is for good.

Every Prayer Monday since this month began I've been asking God that as mamas drop BA this month our sisters here too will announce their BFPs and I know HE is faithful. It is well mama.

discharge in trickles,are you sure that's not your water breaking gradually? When's your next ANC so you can tell your doctor and be checked? You've not come this far to take chances o! Abeg.

so i was taken to the labour room and given pitocin.I was asked to lie on my left see pain ewo.I was like that till 4hour later I was checked again and was 6cm.I was just praying the doc came back 4hours later and I was still 6cm. he said I am not progressing despite giving me two pitocin drip. he said he would have to remove the baby through cs before the baby gets distressed. meanwhile the baby was no longer cephalic he had turned so it was difficult for him to engage into the birth canal.he called his colleague who came and broke my water. then the pain just intensified. I almost cried.after an hour, the doctor came and said I have to be wheeled to the theatre to save me and my baby.I just stood up and started following him to the theatre.I was giving spinal kiniko(dunno how to spell it) then they tore me and I heard my baby cry immediately.I was just thanking God I couldn't belive it.I just turned my head to watch my baby cleaned while the sewed me up.he was taken to my husband outside and I was carried out of the theatre . baby was given Nan.I was shivering cos of the injections(so they said)./baby weighed 4kg. thank God for his mercies. cappo Phlakkeys wehdone ma.
