Good morning guys.
Gurus please I need your help.
I intend reapplying next week.
Attached is the gcms note from my first application.
I have now changed the course to a PGC and have gotten my inlaw to move the money to my account, my inlaw has written a letter stating that he has moved the money into my account and will also be attaching scanned duplicate of the deposit slips.
Do I still need to ask my inlaw to submit an updated letter of introduction from his company? And/or updated affidavit of support or sponsorship again?
I have rewritten my SOP to capture why I changed the course from diploma to PGC.
Thanks for your detailed anticipated response.

Thank you very much. awys: Based on my own knowledge others can also give idea.Do a gift deed and notarize, since he transfered the money into your account also do the affidavit of support and notarize it and letter of sponsorship to back it up. Then others can also suggest other documents. |

Thanks boss Osemigho: From your GCMS note, I see your proposed program length is 3 years. I hope it is not an advance diploma. If it is, that answers the part you don’t understand. Advance diploma is lower than your previous education. This raises the red flag of educational history. I would advice you to look for a post graduate diploma or certificate in your previous education or work experience. If your proposed program is not an advanced diploma, what is it and are you sure it is a three-year program?
All the best. |

Good evening gurus in house! I hail
I had 2:2 in my first degree and obviously couldn't secure a University admission. So i do not understand when the VO said that 'looking at my educational history, my decision to study in Canada does not seem reasonable.
I want to reapply for SP. Course to commence January 2021. Is it too late to apply?
I have now gotten my inlaw to move the funds to my account.
I intend to attach a snapshot of the school's web page containing the course overview and career path and how it aligns with mine.
I INTEND SUBMITTING THE EXACT SAME FILE AS IN MY FIRST APPLICATION AND THIS TIME ALSO INCLUDE A LETTER OF EXPLANATION, MY NEW STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT, A LETTER FROM INLAW SAYING HE HAS NOW FORWARDED THE MONEY TO MY ACCOUNT. WILL THIS BE ENOUGH?
Please advise me.

I intend reapplying for a student visa again January 2021.
Do I need to write another SOP? Or do I just write my LOE and that will be enough?
What do you advice i look out for? |

Hi Gurus.. I hail o.
So i got my gcms note today and apparently have failed the eligibility stage.
Attached is a snap shot.
1) what if I move the funds from my inlaws account to mine. Will it help?
2) I applied for a PGD because I got a 2.2, why does the VO think that this is not a career progression? Will explaining to the VO in my next application that the PGD is a prerequisite to ultimately studying a masters suffice for career progression?
4) How soon can I reapply? Note: my application page is yet to be updated

Thank you. Mobi22: From my experience, did mine before covid. when you'll go there you'll say ahhh.. so there's money in Nigeria. Theyll check your passport before you go in. Then yall would be given a form to fill.. your name, email, passport number, signature and all.. Y'all would sit for a while then y'all would line in accordance to your appointment time and you'll be given your number... Its very and exhausting... when you finally hear your number.. you then go inside and take your biometrics then they'll give you a paper and tell you to keep it well... That's my own experience oo |

Thanks for insightas always. I appliedJuly 1st and I already applied for a gcms note. Biometric, Thursday. Frankrobbn1: The time is too short to request for a GCMS notes on your application. Its better you wait as your application is barely a month old and no much activity could have been done within this time.

Hello @Frankrobbn1, Can a Nigerianapplicant send a message to this email requestingfor feedbackon their application? Frankrobbn1: The chances of getting a refusal after medical request is passed and BVL been initiated is very slim. I have come to understand that at this stage in every TRV application, the visa officer has passed the ELIGIBILITY assessment of the applicant and thus awaiting for the travel restrictions to be eased by the Government of Canada as well as the VAC to reopen before passport request can be sent to the applicant. (This information is evident from the GCMS notes, I vetted recently from students and PR applicants)
No one can tell for sure how long the entire process could last due to the unforeseen conditions associated with the novel COVID-19 pandemic as various Visa offices are presently working with critical and limited staffs. Hence, the increase in visa processing times.
You can only be optimistic and keep sending emails to the Nairobi immigration department via this official email address nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca
In the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask.
It will end in praise. |

Good day guys...
I'm in a situation here.
I submitted a Web form about two weeks ago with no response. As at that time, my application was one month and a few days old.
Note: since application, July 1st, only got BVL and since then nothing.
Now, I went back to website in a bid to submit another Web form (enquiring about an update with regards to my application) but after putting all my details and clicking next, the page never advances. I have tried twice in the last one week. The same problem persist.
What could be the problem?
Thanks for your anticipated response. |

Thanks boss? Frankrobbn1: See the attached link:
AUTHORIZED IRCC ATIP LINK TO ORDER YOUR GCMS NOTE. Please note that you will require the information of an individual presently residing in Canada to assist you in ordering the case notes. The information needed for the process include the following:
1. Individual full name 2. Mailing Address in Canada 3. Phone Number. 4. Email address
On your own part, you will be required to fill a GCMS consent form using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Upon completing this form, scan, and upload it on IRCC ATIP platform.
The processing fees for GCMS notes goes for $5CAD. Currently, it takes about 15days to receive the notes delivered to you via email due to less rush for it. More importantly, you may use your email address as the requester, so you can receive the notes delivered to you.
In the absence that you don't have any individual presently living in Canada, you can make use of the third party GCMS note websites, which can be found on the internet.
I hope this information is useful to your enquiry.
It will end in praise. |

How does one request for GCMS note? fratermathy: Some Indians on another platform ordered their GCMS notes and found that they've since scaled through the eligibility hurdle even before AIPs were issued. Others without AIPs ordered their notes and saw that they were rejected as well (although no formal communication has come).
Maybe Nigerians with AIPs can also do the same and order their GCMS notes before they pay tuition. In any case, many universities have extended the refund deadline to late September or even October. This should ease worries on whether tuition would be refunded in the worst case scenario. |
