personally i think starcomms is ok. but they have a tough competition in mtn now that it has come up with flexible data packages for both prepaid and postpaid customers, and the speed is nothing like i have experienced in any network:ultrafast! starcomms should upgrade and expand their EVDO rev O to rev A and to more areas. the market is just there. i don't know what's holding them back. right now i am sticking to mtn 3.5G. they have won me over.

Today my wife and my daughter lost a tyre to a puncture and she was actually by the road side changing the tyre.

I think this guy should be tracked down and dealt with. For that car I spent 10k for sealant. And from all indication, the crap he put in my tyres actually makes things worse. I know that when you have a nail you never loose air so fast that you cant get home. But with this stuff this people are peddling, your tyre will not remain inflated for even 10 minutes.

I really feel so bad. And all this while the guy has not even had the decency to even apologize.

Thats so much like "I told you so" but I guess you are right.

The thing is that I have used stuff like this in the past with fair results. Like I said, have it in my bike's tire (and there are quite a few nails and studs on it) with very good results. I have never had a catastrophic loss of pressure. Usually I need to put in some air every 2 to 3 weeks but even that on a count of a few PSI loss in pressure.

So to have this thing (at the cost that it is) fail so catastrophically is not only a big surprise but I actually feel like I have beeen duped!!

Thats why I have decided to share my experiences with others here. Everyone here can now make their own choices.

How far with your trip?? Is there a time table yet. September draws near!!

I got the MTN 3G!! UNBELEIVEABLE!!!!!

I get speeds that peak at 1167kbps (thats been today's peak). I watch movies on the internet without buffering. Now thats what I call speed. There have been about 2 or 3 days when it wasnt so great but for the 3 weeks I've had it, its been mindblowing. Calls on skype are like using a normal phone. All all that for a month access of 10K!!!

Vulture, our route is simple enough. At the end of Ligali Ayorinde, we go of the road and keep on running parallel to the beach till we get to Alfa beach. There we again follow the road to goshen and further on to the end of the road to the track you see in the pictures. We actually get the end of the track. On our next trip we plan to get to eleko and drive back , along the shore line to Alfa beach.

We are also exploring other routes in the immediate environs of lagos so if you get suggestion tell us. And make you no tell us make we come your house, even though I know say sometimes we need boat to reach there!!!

Deepzone, to answer your question; going through all, I can see that tobaco is permissible but not beneficial while alcohol is impermissible completely (except under certain circumstance eg medicine etc)
