This Car Tracker is just a sham!!! My suggestion to everyone is to stop buying flashy cars!!! Who wants a dead scrap-like looking car. Infact, you will even find people ready to give you money to move out of certain places ate. So forget Car tracker or Train track, Just follow my advise and go to owode and get a correct car. Robbers go dey even give you chance make you pass sef!!! |

Car Talk › Re: Where Can One Buy Premium Fuel ( High Octane )? by fotodaddy: 8:51am On Jul 03, 2008 |
nkc: On d 1st July, i got my thinner from lagos, thanks to FOTODADDY, who procured d exact thinner that has only toluene and xylene.
on getting the thinner, i immediately proceeded to d fuel station, as i had 3/4 tank of fuel, so i filled up, and drove like a granny home,
i got home in d evening, knowing that my tank is 62liters approx 60liters, i proceeded after full research, i poured in 500ml of d thinner into my 2002 Vw Passat 2.8 4motion Glx.
for those who know what additives do to fuel, there will be no noticeable change, when u start, because d fuel in d line has to burn out first and d thinned fuel, come into play, which may take 1mile to 5mile, depending on yur driving skill, to burn out completely and kick in, so i decided to drive spiritedly, for a while and came back home.
In d place where i live , there is a little hilly stretch while driving out, if i drive like a granny, i wont hear any pinging, if i drive like a racer i will hear a ping that disappears in a Second, ( by then d car has retarded timing and power reduced)
so i said that with this thinner, i will know for sure, if it has an effect, so after a while, i entered my Passat , and decided to drive like a racer out of d estate, well all i can say is that God Saved Me, Cos D car disappeared from d hill in a second no pinging, it was just like it had a fresh life in it, i was impressed.
so to this end i will be using 500ml every tank full or as i deem fit
CAVEAT EMPTOR ( please read all d links and do some reading before u venture into this, its not for d faint hearted, so don't call my name if yur car packs up, remember too much toluene, will make your fuel not to burn, enjoy, as for NKC & FOTODADDY, we r good to go ) Experience is the best teacher. Tolded them!!! |

sosodat, your problem is similar to the guy who cant make up his mind between a king sized bed and a queen size bed. I know it is not easy to choose from 2 good cars but in this case its also something to do with size. Decide on what you want na and let people talk. |

Car Talk › Re: Help.diff/advantages Of/btw Petrol And Diesel Engine Catrs by fotodaddy: 8:24pm On Jun 30, 2008 |
dpresident: 1. Diesel engine cars get to the top speed faster than petrol engine.
2. Diesel has more energy than petrol, hence the use in lorries and petrol in cars. Though some cars use diesel.
3. Diesel engines do not use spark plug while petrol engine use.
4. Diesel engine is safer in cases of fire than petrol.
Lastly I rest my case 4 others to add or correct Oga, I beg no vex but this side no be the side over which you be president!!! Ol boy go to www.howstuffworks.com and do your research |

Car Talk › Re: What Is Odometer Vs. Kilometre by fotodaddy: 9:33pm On Jun 29, 2008 |
So I don dey do the work of Dictionary!!! OK na, but you go square o!! You know say egunje spoil Lagos Odometer is the device which measure distance covered in your vehicle. The unit of measurement will be either metric (kilometer) or imperial (mile). In most cars you have at least 2 odometers. The first keep a record of all the distance covered from the manufacture of the car. This cannot be reset except by "SPECIAL" means. The second one, also referde to as "trip meter" can be reset to indicate particular distances. You are are talking or 2 things, the measureing instrument (odometer) and the measured parameter's unit (kilolmeter), Mileage is another word you might come across and this refers to the odometer reading in what ever unit that is measured. I hope it helps. |
