Ol boy, you get what you pay for. There are other bikes advertized on the forum. Have a look at them. All would be interested buyers, please not that I will not accept offers on the forum. If you are serious, then come over, look at the bike and then you can make an offer. ![]() |
EI:EI, why you dey cry na!!! You had ownership of the car even before the car came out of the port!!! Abi you don forget!!!! ![]() I think Jenju denied possession and not ownership. And EI, why you go dey vex na. This is business na. Jenju, you don try. Even as una 2 allow me be mediator (for nothing sha) I no go vex. Cos I for just go cotonou with car, sell am for 1.5M and use the dough buy my new bike!!! ![]() |
Siena:Not easy at all with a VW, Seat, Skoda or Audi!!! With these, everytime there is an incident, you are required to change the affected airbag, relevent sensors and the Airbag controller (sets you back quite a bit). You cannot even buy these items from them and the installatio0n MUST be carried out by their authorized dealer. The thinking is that these systems must maintain 100% integrity. (imagine an airbag that fails to deploy when itis needed. You wont be there to tell the story!!! ) |
The name of the coy is CHILEX, and they are on olowu street, opposite Mr Biggs. They are on the first floor of the building with shops on the ground floor. Now if you need VW, Skoda, Seat or Audi keys then you can talk to a friend of mine who those it (and he is much cheaper than Chilex). Get him on 08035977866. His name is bukky. All the best |
Touareg V8: ![]() Thank you for your suggestion. I guess what you are trying to say is that I am not a serious end user. Nor am I a distributor. And I do not not know the "best" product for the Nigerian market. Never the less, you still have not put a price to this!!! And I am sure I am not the only one who wants to know the price!! So bros V8; what is the price na ??Abi you dey fear to talk the price?? As a good trader, i would also suggest that you get a shop in ASPAMDA. This is the Nigerian Spare Parts and stuff "central". People come from everywhere in Nigeria and neighbouring countries to buy there. I am positive that with your trading skills, you will make significant inroads. |
And the price for 500ml is, |
In Lagos these kind of programable keys can cost you between 25 and 35K. There's coy on olowu that does it. If you got the dough I will be happy to give you the address |
Karami_J:Sorry sir, dont know anything about the model you are talking about. |
Hounslow, looks like your pathy is the 2WD version!!! I trust your price is very good on account of that. |
I wouldnt advise an enemy to get this car. Search the forum and you'll find so many of them plagued with gearbox problems. ![]() My advice; forget it!!! |
Guys guys guys, una never hear of "NISSAN FOREVER" I really don't give a hoot for Japanese cars. I am stuck with the pathy because I wont cough up 6M for an entry level G class or the X5. Like nkc said, I believe that there are no bad cars. Just two guide lines. 1. you get what you pay for and 2. your car is as good as the care you give it!! And that is directly and/or indirectly. Once naija mechanic touch am, no so so story you go dey hear. Things like "oga e no mean" and "Oga we go permanent am", wey the 13" are the things that usually start the story. The end is that you have a permanent seat in the workshop and start having nightmares. Anyway, thats my 2 kobo's worth!! @EI Ol boy, any day wey you don tire for the work you dey do make you know say you no go fit hungry. By then, you go begin dey give alibaba real run for him money! ![]() |
Siena:LMAO!! ![]() Siena, its one door per side!!!! ![]() |
Teejay07:There's no discrimination here OOO And am sure your 1999 pathy is more than good enough to join in the fun. Am sure you saw the pic of the Hilux. And it was driven by a woman!!!! So everyone with 4 WD who can pull their own weight is welcome!!! ![]() |
ben~jay:Which wan be Honda Signature again ![]() After we go even see honda ynash!!! ![]() |
igbonla:Ol boy wake up. Everybody cannot be like you. ![]() Some people like what others call wahala. Others have sentimental attachment to cars that make them do funny things. I have a friend who had a sigma, and went about trying to solve this kind of gearbox problem. It took him 3 years but in the end he car was perfect. At a point the car was jacked up for close to 18 months. He even imported the ECU for the gearbox from germany. Spent so much only to sell the car in the end. I use to yab him that he should plan to be buried in the car when he is old and dies. ![]() @Poster, I will get you the numbers of the garages I mentioned to you. I think they do the diagnosis for 5K but then it doesnt mean that they can fix the car. And in some cases, based on their work load, your car might be in line. You'll get the nos on wednesday when I get back to the office (by His grace) |
In my house now (for safe keeping )Dont worry!!! I didnt take it on our off-roading. See the following thread for proof: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-149936.0.html

Wey them!!! |
Siena:Them think say e easy. ![]() But seriously, back in 2000 or so, I bought this car for a friend from Germany. And the guy used it for 5 years before selling it and didnt have a day of bother. Witht he engine that is. Duriing his fourth year of ownership, he started experiencing gear box issues. (it was an automatic). Changed the box a couple of time till he got a good one and the car was back in business. |
Try Ladipo. There are boys who apply the tint there and all you have to do is choose the color you want. But then get ready with your 25K for police permit ooo ![]() |
In addition to mechanical problems, you night also have electrical issues. The automatics generally are controlled by an ECU (brain-box) If you were here in Lagos I would have suggested some garages where you could have a full diagnostic check done instead of trial and error. But the bottom line is there could be so any things that could be wrong, and without diagnostics, its like you are shooting in the dark. |
$$Rhino:I went with my 6 month pregnant wife and daughter. Another guy came with his son and daughter. Last week, the hummer was full of wife and kids. So i guess everyone is welcome!!! And now with our extra-long tow-rope, even nkc fit come with him passat ![]() |
And in the end some grilled fish to cool us down at the joint!!! ![]()
|
We just got back. Pathy, Avalanche, Sequoia, Hilux, Prado.

This was one of the cars on my list before I chose a pathfinder. I read up and found good reviews but after speaking with owners of the Freelander, I quickly changed my mind. They appear plagued with un-SUV like problems, are constantly disappointing and are generally unreliable. ![]() As of right now, I am yet to meet or talk to one owner of that model freelander, that didnt tell me of their disappointment. Hope it helps you. Keep in mind that this is Nigeria and you will be limited by bad roads, poor mechanics etc!! ![]() |
Emeka, what can you do for a Skoda Fabia with an invoice price of 1.5M?? |
I didnt tell you guys that last week I got stuck by the beach. Water almost carry the car go!!! But the hummer and a very long towing rope saved the day!!! Anyway, this time, we are wiser but pictures will tell the story better!! ![]() |
You all will see the pics by saturday evening or sunday. Na enjoyment we dey for now OOO!!! ![]() |
