I don't want to Carry over my BS into the new year....

On exactly 37weeks 4days, I was supposed to start my leave but they didn't approve it; I was livid, ready to quit if I had to cz I could feel baby was close. That night I laid on the couch and woke up midnight with a start as I felt I had wet myself but I wasn't sure...did I pee on myself? I cleaned up and moved to the bedroom but I kept dripping. I suspected my water broke so I headed to the hospital in the morning. Did a scan and was told the water was adequate and cervix closed. Dr did a vaginal exam and said I was 2cm but could see my membrane bulging that I should fall into labour anytime soon.
I went back home and waited. Come 4am, my water started flowing nonstop, I picked my bag and headed to the hospital. I was checked again, still 2cm but bp was high and I was placed on bp drugs to bring it down then the waiting started.
I was on the bed for 24hrs and no major contraction came, I was just leaking fluid... Early morning Monday (exactly 38weeks) I panicked and requested for the doctor, I was literary screaming the place down. I couldn't feel my baby's kicks/movement like before, I was given some meds and sent for scan at daybreak.
The scan man said madam, your baby is at risk, the fluid is about to finish and your baby is not even well positioned again... Pls get this baby out asap... I asked how long do I have and he said hours... My body shuddered... I couldn't even imagine anything happening to my boy...
I practically flied back to the ward and lost the rest of the fluid on the way, ran into the group of doctors on ward round and collapsed into them,gave them my result and before I could say Jack.... Head consultant was at my bed with a Doppler, we couldn't hear my baby's heart beat but he insisted that it was there but just faint... I was rushed into the theatre and an emergency cs was done... My lil Prince came into the world at exactly 38weeks,Dec17...12:05pm.. I cannot describe the joy I felt when they showed me my baby... I felt a burst of energy from that moment until the end of the surgery.
Recovery was hard but easy with God... I was up same day, walked in the morning and was back home on the 4th day... Vigilante is real ooo... I don't get to sleep well and my lil boo loves breast milk like what I don't know... Surgery site pains is hell but my baby boo makes it all worth it...

My prayer to all my GTC Mamas..... God will bless you with your bundles of joy in the new year.. This happiness will go round... Not one shall be called barren...

December teamies... We are grateful lord... I pray for strength for us all..

It's has not been easy o....
Up until 12weeks, no problem.... No spitting, no vomit, no Ms.
As I hit 13 weeks, I landed in the hospital. Had serious chest infection and blood stained sputum. Thanks be to God, I'm okay,discharged and back home, in fact resumed work.
One thing is that for a week after, Ms wanted to finish my enemy... I was diagnosed with hypermesis gravitum bla bla bla...nothing could enter my mouth. I would vomit even the air I breathe. Yellowish green vomit.
Haaa... This pregnancy ehnnn

Hurray!!! We started from the bottom now we are here .
Yes, we saw 1st trimester and ms dealt with us like it wasn't going to pass.
Some of us had to swallow chilled Eba, had special bowl for spitting, brushing our teeth was a vomiting session but look at us now , we've been there and done them all. Great is our God.

Congratulations on coming this far teamies, it hasn't been easy but definitely worth it.

We all are now safely in the 2nd trimester, may the rest of the journey be easy for us all. Amen
Our routine drugs are a vital part of this journey, please let's not forget that.
Stay faithful to it, its actually our partner on this journey.
I guess some of us must have had our 1st TT shot. For the rest of us who hasn't, our hospitals will let is know when It's time i guess.

My office has a lifetime store, and all staff are entitled to a certain discount on all things. I'm not sure of the bench price but I got it for N2000.

I started in early March, I'm not sure of the exact date.i used it all through but I noticed the difference immediately, ewcm, even af came on the 26th without pain. So after the next cycle began, I stopped immediately after O in April bcz I read it somewhere that it's safer to do that . Na that cycle I still dey so as Af has been sent to 9months leave.
