rvp20182: Finally you've made him understand why Minerals has not helped other African countries and wont help Tanzania. Value-addition is what will help Africa. From agriculture to mining to natural resources. Africa has to create value/wealth in Africa. Africa rather than banning import to engage in stupid import substitution. Should ban export of raw materials. Force developed world to bring their factories. No export of any raw thing - not even crude oil. Then give the developed countries special economic or export processing zones near the port. Let them come there - and process the raw materials into finished products - and let it be written Made in Africa. At worse we should demand - all exports should be semi-processed. Nigeria did that to Elon Musk last year when he wanted to mine lithium without processing. African countries are beginning to leaen |

Mkenya2019: Waste of money and time. Nigeria installed capacity is 12,000MW. Nigeria can barely get 3,000MW. Problem is not generation. Problem is elsewhere.
Nigeria electricity problem will be fixed by metering everyone with pre-paid meters - and punishing any electricity theft.
Until that is done - you're going to go into darkness for another 30yrs.
Those guys will not turn on electricity when distro company doesnt pay them. Distro company will not supply when Nigerians are stealing electricity.
Create Nigeria Electricity Police Wing - disconnect everyone - connect them to prepaid meter - give huge fines for any illegal meter or tapping from electricity. I understand your point, but my post had nothing to do with fixing Nigerias power problem. I posted it to inform people Nigeria will soon start manufacturing solar CELLS. First in Africa |

I made a post about getting a Laptop with 50k before my account was banned here. Most developers here are telling me to still save it to 80k. This same advise I followed last year that made me to use money I have saved to do forex trading and lost the whole money. I have suffered in this life no doubt, and I have a also procrastinated enough to learn this web designing skill. I believe in what I can do when I am fully in tech by God's grace. If I tell you how I have been able to save this 50k you will cry for me. My house rent will soon expire I just need a laptop to start now and I am very sure of myself that I will get a job before the house rent expire cux the work I have been doing I use the whole money on transport most of the times, I don't even eat that much sometimes once a day sometimes just water sustains me. It hasn't been easy all the way.
@truecoder I saw your reply about getting 8gb ram that 4gb ram would get slower but what can I do ? If I am to save up to extra 30k is obviously going to take up to another 3months. My mental state is disturbed right now and I need to start and stop procrastinating I am currently learning JS with my phone and I also got a job offline. I promised the guy I will finish it this to tell you how talented I am in this with just little things I do with my phone but Laptop and suffering as been my limitations so far.
Please help me with your best advise. My mind is not stable at all. I feel you man, it's really not easy and I hope you can overcome your current challenges |
