Should I be sad? Should I cry because she broke my heart? Should I jump down from the bridge opposite NNPC towers because she denied me in a crowd of people? Some many things running through my mind right now.

I met her, beautiful, young but naive. I tried to become her friend but she rebuffed me. All the scopings I scoped fell on deaf ears, it was more like I was talking to my self. I had to go the extra mile of getting her a gift for this christmas. A beautiful rose flower that had her picture grafted on it. I had on my best cloth, first time I was dressing in suit.

Got to her house, saw her younger sister, Temi, who I sent to call her. Temi wasted lots of time inside the house but on coming out, I noticed she was no longer bright. Her smiled had been replaced by a scowl. To ease the tension since she just came and stood close to me, I dipped my hand into my pocket and dashed her N500 for the Christmas. She was elated alright but she still had a message for me.

"She says you should not disturb her in your life."

Wow, I was astounded. Shocked beyond words and implanted to the ground with every muscle in my body going into hibernation. After what seemed like eternity to me, I opened my mouth but the only words I could mutter was...

"Eh"

Temi looked at me. The 9 year old girl had pity in her eyes for me. Maybe she knew I had gone through a lot to get her sister. Her next words, well...

"Some girls are not worth dying for."

Wow, no that was blunt. Coming from her own sister, I could not help to agree more. She was not worth dying for but I was already dead. How would I explain to my bro that I entered into his bag to scratch the N7,000 from which I had spent a little from to get her the gift which I was still holding? I prepared my mind because I knew my bro was surely going to use my face as his dough.

"Tell her I came."

I turned back and left not without dropping the rose flower at the gate. I walked away with my pains tucked right into my pocket. I turned to see her come outside quickly and pick the flower. I was gone forever.

Yesterday, I learned she got pregnant for the houseboy.
