PoliticsRe: Converstaion Of A Yoruba Man & Igbo Man In London by frag(m): 11:39am On Aug 04, 2009
A well educated person wouldn't call everyone fools or slowpoke just only cos they have a different opinion to theirs.
Name calling changes nothing. If you have a better arguement let it out and let us be the judge of who is really the fool/slowpoke.
PoliticsRe: Converstaion Of A Yoruba Man & Igbo Man In London by frag(m): 11:32am On Aug 04, 2009
@Eziachi
An average Igbo man seem to believe breaking up the country is the only solution to their problems which is fair enough cause he/she knows no better. We all know the problem we face but some think breaking up is the only solution. As i said, its fair enough. Go if you will provided you leave us in peace.

Thank you Dr jaja
Thank you kobojunkie for digging it out with samparian. As the saying goes 'the truth is bitter.
In my Uni. days in Ibadan,i once participated in a demonstration that unfortunately turned riot. We were shot at indiscrimnately and eventually we got scared and abandoned the protest. I wasnt ready to die and so was many of us.We returned to the campus grumbling.
Dr jaja has spelt it out,we are too scared to die for what we believe in,i am guilty of this and so are many of us.
How possible is it for us to say we are not stupid for accepting so much oppression? I dont want to die,you dont want to die and yet people are dying everywhere and everyday of hunger and unnecessary hardship.

Nigeria today is the result of all your inputs in the past.
Those of you that has never voted.
Those of you who is indifferent about offering police bribe.
Those of you who cant queue for anything.
Those of you who think nigeria belongs to the politicians alone.
Those of you who would comit crime without remorse.
And mostly, those of you that will never stand up for the truth.

PoliticsRe: Us Deports 60 Nigerians by frag(m): 12:11pm On Mar 14, 2009
He is making a valid point. The number of Nigerians being deported is not comparable to any developed country in the world. There might be US/UK /FRENCH/GERMAN etc nationals living illegally in other countries but the total dont add up to the number Nigerians living illegally in the US alone.
Getting our acts together would generally reduce the wave of people moving abroad to find a better life. If given the opportunity,50% of nigerian graduates will want to move abroad. How do you explain the unbelievable amount of Nigerians queueing at the embassy to go to the US/UK.
Do you realise that nationals of developed countries dont need visa to travel to/fro within the developed west ie Australia-UK,Most europe- US and so on and so forth.
Nigerians like the rest of the developing/underdeveloped world will continue to face restrictions like this until we sort our acts together ,creating a situation where going abroad is no longer a do or die affair.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Scammers - A Contrary View by frag(m): 9:12pm On Mar 13, 2009
There is no talent in any form of scam.It takes just a couple of weeks with bad company to become as good as them.A good example would be a nigerian who has gone abroad serching for a better life. Left nigeria with the opinion that his/her life would never be the same again.Gets abroad to find out he is not allowed to work. Coming back home is not thinkable as he had already sold all he ever owned. He decides to hang around and see how it goes. Meets a couple of guys who has been hanging around too. Joined the bandwagon, gets into fraud.
All things goes, credit card, yahoo, offshore, washwash, workfromhome, relationship and e.t.c By the time he gets paid twice he is already boasting he is the best.Sending money home and telling his friends its so easy to make money abroad thereby urging them to do whatever it takes to make it across and join in. That is just the simple cycle.
PoliticsRe: Final Solution To Corruption In Nigeria by frag(m): 8:35pm On Mar 13, 2009
We need a better policing first before the so called agency of yours. All corruption in this country strive as a result of bad policing.
The nigerian police,i suppose, would be among the worst in the world. If the police does not know the difference between right and wrong how would they be able apprehend criminals? Majority of the present police employee would have to go.
We have so many unemplyed graduate who are very willing to replace them.
Lets start with that and see the difference.

I have 3 accounts. One with GTB and the 2 other are with some unbankable banks.I must tell you,i have never had a problem with the GTB. But for the others it has always been problems. As advised, please there is no need staying with any bank that is causing you pains. Move on and forget about the shit banks.

Make una fire am (the poster). Obama might not be well experienced but you know he is more capable than John Mccain. Obama is sound. And he is probably gonna be the liberator of the black race and the rest. Most of all,if he is not good as the poster wants us to believe Americans wouldn't nominate him over Hillary clinton. angry

MY BLACK QUEEN AND WHITE QUEEN HAS GOT THE SAME ABILITIES ON THE CHESS BOARD   IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE PERSON HANDLING THE QUEEN, IN THE GAME

SO APPLYING THIS SIMPLE CHESS TRUTH TO LIFE, i think it depends on the man handling the lady, and not on race or colour, if you are compartible and you show are affection her affection should be directly proportionate to yours, though i must admit WHITE are more ADVENTUROUS but adventure and forming activity does not mean affection!!

PoliticsRe: What use is the North Economic summit to Nigerians? by frag(m): 5:21am On Oct 03, 2008
Fhemmmy:
I have more respect for the northerners than for the south west especially the yorubas, i think they are the most complex people to deal with, they think they know it all, and yet it is so wrong, these people wants to get together and see how they can create wealth and stop depending on oil money.

I remember when Nigeria was being ruled by the military, people whine and complain, and yet when the hausa man was going into the NDA, the papas and the mamas of the yoruba and igbo people will be against such move, because they all see military as a death trap, now we have so many military in the high rank of Nigeria army and we whining.

Now they are trying to do something now to make north be on top again, instead of other tribes to follow the example and make somethng and stop using micro lense to look for oil in ilesha where all they have is gold that is not even enough to feed them.

And you! Watch your mouth o. Onja bo ju enu lo. angry
