lol nevermind, just pulling your legs! |
I haven't flown with Albarka, But my Experience with IRS was an eye opener for me. That fateful evening, we were flying from Port Harcourt to Lagos when we got into bad weather. Men!!!! The aircraft was tossed up and down like a kite in the sky and the aircraft descended like 10,000ft before stabilising. The man beside me was like" Brother, so this is the end". I was just there sitting and not thinking of anything at all. The only thing I remember doing was holding on to the arm rest tightly as if my life depended on it. When we were out of the woods, one of the pilots came out to address us. He was pretty shaken. I can't forget that day. IRS planes are a little bit better than those of chanchangi, I don't know if you flew on any of defunct oriental airlines more like their planes and their customer service was almost that of chanchangi. I would put them in the same group. Most of the airport touting are majorly done by this 2 airlines. On the day in question, I travelled under someone else's name. What are your experiences with them? |
well, you seem to know ARIK very well. Methinks you work with them, but you didn't include Owerri and Accra, Ghana in your list of destinations for ARIK. Like I said, At least 8 brand new aircrafts, could be more, plus they have other aircrafts too that are not brand new, but fairly used,completely refurbished and in top condition. Considering the number of destinations being covered by ARIK, It is only natural that they should have more than 8 aircrafts. I think presently ARIK has almost 20 aircrafts both brand new and fairly used. but I have a strong hunch u work for these guys. ![]() |
funkybaby:I hail you |
suffice it to know that not all ARIK planes are brand new. Arik boasts of about not less than 8 brand new aircrafts which includes Boeings and CRJ jets(about 70 seater aircraft) which was, I think one of the first brand new aircrafts they started with. For proof, try flying any of these ones I mentioned earlier and you will be convinced! I was opportuned to fly them when they were just "tear rubber". BTW, an aircraft that has been flying for a year now or so cannot be seen as a brand new aircraft. |
funkybaby:I totally agree with you. Flying molues and coffins they have. I think you should mention chanchangi when we are talking of The Ekene Dili Chukwu and Ifesinachi transport companies. Customer service sucks as hell. I wonder why Nigerians still fly them though ![]() |
I think Arik is the best because of their brandnew toys. Also, they have expatriate pilots which to me I think are more safety conscious than our Nigerian pilots. On a scale of 10, i will give them 8 |
@dcorios Bimmer for life!!!!! |
For all those that are saying it is going to work out, i have a question for you. Have you seen it happen in your lifetime, "a husband goatseller and a wifey banker?" mind you these wifey bankers can be very snooty |
Hell no!!!!!!! |
If it must be a live in househelp, then i suggest they go and get a relative of the man, that way you hang a bone around his neck unless he is fool enough to sleep with his relative. |
I wonder what chelsea fans have got to do with this thread. Please these Mourinho suckling babies should leave this thread. @ poster Your leaving Gunners or staying in Gunners does not affect Arsenal in any way. Infact you have proven not to be a Real Arsenal Fan and you are a good riddance! We don't want to have chicken livered fans like you in Arsenal. Do you think you are the only one affected by that avoidable loss to Liverpool. You can hit your head on the wall for all i care. For the rest of us that still believe in Arsenal, It's ARSENAL FOR LIFE!!!! But I wonder why Wenger likes to play that skilless Diaby |
The updated information says that the signal was coming from a helicopter in the Niger-Delta region. Here is the info below: I just got a call from Nigeria advising the HEX ID of the missing craft. It did not match the one we just detected. That we have found out is coming from an oil platform in the Niger Delta, possibly from a Helo. The signal has was not detected on the last satellite pass. So, the word could have gone around to the owners. We are still working on the HEX ID of the Aircraft in question. The details have just been made available to us. From experience, it is not uncommon to find a distressed aircraft way off its planned flight path. On one rare incident, a KingAir flew past its destination without contacting the Air Traffic Control. Guess what happened when we intercepted it, both Pilots and passengers were all unconcious! There was nothing that could be done in the air, except follow them to where the auto-pilot took them to. Needless to say what the outcome was! Another reported conducting an Instrument Approach in IMC conditions within the vicinity of the destination airport and disappeared. We found it way off the Instrument Approach path. We don't take chances when it comes to Search And Rescue. We work with every bit of intelligence we can get. I am very impressed how effective this forum is and the high level of concern people show towards helping one another. |
The problem of Nigerian National team is far from being over. It appears we have a set of incorrigible block heads called NFA. Whatever happened to their sense of judgment. By my standards, Eguaveon is better than Amodu. We are watching. ![]() |
tyna1:I totally agree with you. You have said it all! |
I wouldn't want to marry a woman who is barren because I would like to make babies. But if I love her that much as not to have children, then I guess I will have to take that long walk down the aisle. ![]() |

@ poster, There are sensitive issues you don't bring to nairaland, otherwise you get whupped by nairalanders. Concerning you sisters-in-law, they should look inward and search themselves very well where they are lacking, not restricted to academics but also in character. I am very sure there is a problem somewhere. Commiting it into the hands of God is very important. |
