Kizmarty: i dnt buy your idea one bitYou've done some of the explaining yourself. Let's call a spade a spade. I know the stress I go through at airports, I know opportunities I've been denied or disqualified from just because of my passport. While I respect your entitlement to your opinion, Patriotism does not mean accepting mediocrity...it does not mean taking pride in shame and indignity. ![]() |
There are no dishonest professions, only dishonest people... |
Smh...the nigerian passport is more of a liability and sets you back way behind your peers globally... Its all we got anyways...and we all contributed to its status either by action or inaction. Congratulations to all in advance though ....cos it can only get better! |
...Jimi, beware of greeks bearing gifts... ...Ndigbo, at worst, any party you throw your purported 'weight' behind will lose...at best you'll be used and dumped. Either ways you still lose...and continue the whining cycle... We all know what they say about empty barrels...If they have as much relevance as they claim, they should be sought after and not hop around whining and threatening. What exactly is stopping you from developing your home states?!!!!! Put your money where your mouth is... Make your region the economic capital of Nigeria and command respect from there... |
The use of terms like 'slot', 'give us', etc already reeks of blackmail and conspiracy. I see nothing but Nepotism, plundering, proliferation and profligacy coming out of this. In a civilized democracy, votes are rights to be exercised and not bargained with. To what end do you want this position? Where is your manifesto? Where is your track record? A translated Yoruba adage goes, "A dressmaker who offers to sew you a garment should have a good one on himself". What have the Igbo nation made of their homeland? They should begin charity at home before offering to export it. I have met a crop of quite industrious, amiable and intelligent igbo folk but unfortunately they are a minute fraction of the lot. Studying them in the microcosm of a compound I once lived (where we had all three major ethnic groups of Nigeria represented), the igbo occupants gave the hugest amount of problems to all co-tenants and even the landlord...and contributed the least to developmental issues....cant go into gory details here. In the bigger picture, i am quite traveled (within and outside naija) and the absolute worst airports I have seen in my life are in their states. I would advise them to synergize their claimed resources, expertise, and population into creating an economically, technologically, infrastructurally and politically viable region. I dare them to make another 'Lagos' in the south-east. Then they can talk and we will really listen. One cannot argue with results. |
This is fantastic!...For every time I complained about my cake as a child, I render unreserved apologies to God and my parents... |
This guy should be stripped of diplomacy, arrested, and prosecuted with maximum sentences. |
![]() I would have joined but there's no light to make ice block . Let us start the pure water challenge instead |
Nanosilver hydrosol has been around for years. Some lady was privately advertising it as an ebola treatment some days ago...i guess because it wasn't approved then. Lets see how this pans out though. Check out http://drrimatruthreports.com/ebola-threat-dr-rima-recommends-nano-silver/ |
19 more LGA chairmen 19 more Local-First Ladies 19 more holes punctured in the the state treasury bag 19 more aibis to inflate the already bloated governance apparatus We need to trim, strengthen and increase the efficency and accountability of the existing structure first...and not burden it some more! |
naturalwaves: OP is a phool. The distance between the two adjoining soldiers is not the same in both pitures. If Obanikoro was cropped out, why is there a difference in the distanceEasy man. Take a closer look and you'll see what's left of the arm of the guy in suit just behind him... |
OP thanks for the article. Had a good read. The discussants have also done justice with their comments. "...Does not even nature itself teach you..."1 Cor 11:4 Seriously, I've been trying to wrap my head around the ideology of feminism with no success. I'm still very much open to any convincing, logical and disinterested argument for the cause. I believe men and women can coexist peacefully and cooperatively if they identify and fit in to their purpose and roles. We don't have ant colonies ranting about 'queen-antism', 'worker-antism', or 'soldier-antism', and that's why they are formidable. As we are wont to do especially in Nigeria, we import ideals and values without fully understanding the concept, origin, objectives or consequences. Majorly just to sound/look savvy or intelligent. Worse still we almost always outdo the originators. At the barest minimum, simply observing physiological and psychological differences between sexes show that we have different strengths, roles and capabilities. How about amicably harnessing and synergizing these for overall societal progress. We are not unequal, we are just different! or where exactly are we headed? When exactly would we have achieved complete feminism? When a couple draws a roster for sex change operations on alternately bearing and nursing children? The law and society indeed has a slant towards women in some aspects and I don't hear complaints about that from either sex. Recently, I heard about a bank account/loan scheme strictly for business women. Are we subject to different to different inflation rates or economic conditions? Like people rightly pointed out, the name easily gives away its core bias and proclivities...'feminism'. If it was a sincere and egalitarian effort as it ostensibly claims to be, it would be 'humanism' or 'equalism'. 1000 likes to princefunmi and bootybuttchic. *replaces earphones and continues imbibing yanni* |

Hey, I actually had to sign in after reading as a guest all day just to like your response. Nice one! |
timtom: I did a calculation and i realize that my monthly bill should be between N 1,500 and N 2,000. so i don't care about the bill they bring.I'm with you on this. I have unjustifiable bills too. Please keep me posted. Im suggesting all under IKEDC should file a class action ![]() |
Can bankers in the house please explain why it takes a few seconds to get debited and several working days to resolve and reverse a failed ATM transfer. Anyone knowledgeable on the subject and process can please advise. |
This is arrant nonsense at best...a poorly constructed, error ridden, unprofessional letter. For the HSE certification, you either have it or you dont, whats with the 'issues'? Addax has their administrative office in lagos, the contact person has only a phone number, not a company domain email address...the NCD program is vehemently discouraging the enagagement of expatriates except if absolutely necessary... too many unintelligent flaws with this letter...Even the title 'Job offer for Training Program'...such a shame. Abeg totally disregard please.... |
MMIA has a lot to improve on, but you aint seen Port Harcourt's Intl Airport. Certainly the worst I've seen ever! |
Unilag had this as far back as 2002. It was called valucard then. |
...could only imagine if it happened to our first lady... |
Please can I get a VIN check on JHLRE48388C013669. Thanks |
This is another indication that the police could be effective if well oriented and motivated. Guess the motivation for this is self-preservation though as he is alleged to have killed several policemen. |
This is arrant nonsense. Aircraft my foot. A country that still imports basic nuts and bolts? The proliferated okadas and keke napeps we use are imported from india and other asian countries. Let us start with that. Let us produce standard, durable, export quality bicycles first. Where are the foundaries, steel rolling mills, power plants to economically sustain these? In a country that still imports toothpicks and drinking straws? Let's get it right from the basics and gradually build our industry and technology from there. At best they'll import substandard aircraft parts and just assemble here and I still don't trust them to do that properly. That doesn't translate to aircraft production. |
I totally concur with @nairacountry. I believe this autorenewal thing is subtly fraudulent and is our most dominant complaint. Etisalat should make autorenewal of any product purchase optional fron inception and duly inform customers with clarity. They should also make opting out easier and less ambiguous. |
Two queries from 08173944805 1.How can I stop autorenewal of 200MB monthly data for smartphones.I want to do it manually only when needed. 2. A few months ago, I bought the 200MB data bundle for 1k,and it deactivated by BB subscription instantly which I renewed just 4 days earlier. Called customer care and they were just dilly-dallying. I had to pay annother 3000 for BIS service. Customer care promised to resolve it but I neither got my credit nor a BIS service rollover. ![]() |

I really feel him. And it's unfortunate he didn't get any help. It's so easy to judge, if you've never been there, where your emotional anchor fails. Its different for everyone and we all have varying thresholds of forbearance. His job might have been the gossamer string holding it all together for him, or might have been the straw that broke the camel's back. To the departed, RIP, and to those who still remain, God help us. |
Its symbolic. They want y'all to have a sweet xmas |
Totally agree with 2buff...a girl's instincts knows what's best for her...but she'll spell the opposite out verbally. Doing all the Op said is like feeding her only chocolate and ice cream. Its meant to be served as dessert... administered in little controlled doses...or else, its bound to run her tummy and guess who she'll blame and fight...YOU! You'll be the teddy bear softie and she'll desire a real man! |
Op, I'd also like a comprehensive list of what you'll do in return if you find such a boy. From empirical observation, girls take such boys for granted...they adapt quickly to all that, and then shift the goalposts. They give such guys hell, and save their niceties for the bad guys. ![]() |
Nairalanders in ondo should please feed us with live updates of what's going on there.... |

Moreover, what is the link between the story , opposition and Obanikoro? It is most likely that those pictures were taken at different times; 1)when Obanikoro was there and 2) when Obanikoro wasn't there. All these useless propnganda won't take us anywhere. Nigerians are the most gullible creatures considering the way some people rushed to make ninsense comments. Think!!!!! Nigerians think!!!!! Common sense is not truely common.SMH.
