You re on a very long tin because legalization takes 8-12weeks at the embassy and couple with the time you will get appointment for legalization which is very hard at the moment and VFS issue with embassy again, you people always make one mistake applying for admission without legalized documents who does that, because you don't want to waste money for legalization and not been granted admission right but now that most iscte schools resumes by September what you going to do..., is better for you to defer the admission

Legalization takes 3-6 weeks to be ready if followed up through NUC, I have handled one that took only 3 weeks to be ready for embassylegalisation, it got back to embassy within 3 weeks after submitting to the NUC for verification.
If you can work on fastrack appointment date for submission, you will still meet up, alternatively find out if your sch accept notarized copy, just like other schs do then you can do notary public and use it get admission and legalise later, i did it for someone and many did that also, they got admission with it, so find out if your sch will accept it, as most do then you can do that likewise.
But make sure you authenticate your certificate first at moe&mofa and the public notary will be on a certify true cope not on the original certificate.
The issues between VFS and embassy will be over soon and embassy has been working since then, that is not affecting their operations.

You will have to be patient , the visa submission centre have been temporarily put on hold and embasy might likely go on break very soon.

There's no cheap university now, because of the exchange rate now..rubble now is very high..you get some in other cities except Moscow and St Petersbourg.

It start from getting invitation from Russia, most of the shool fees ranges from 1.2m-2.5m you will first start with language course, before you can go for your bsc or masters proper (which is the preparatory class), except schools in Moscow and other big cities which their tuition fees are high and the invitation takes 45 days to come out.

Yes but you will include your secondary school testimonial during its authentication at moe&mofa if you want to get eligibility or English proficiency letter and must have credit in your English and mathematics to merit those letters.

You are talking about approvals. How about pending work permit appointment. I know someone who has been waiting for 8 months

Getting work permit appointment is possible within 2 months, sometimes it goes beyond what you can do on your own.

Updates: Some staff have been change in the authentication office of the ministry of education, this was the reason for some delays been experienced of late.
And they are using 2nd floor now for authentication of education certificate, no longer 8 floor. But student can still pick their transcript send directly from their school from 8th floor.

Appointment Dates especially for study, Legalization is available and work too(but takes longer time now), I have 23th and 29th May, study slots available and 27th May for legalization slot.

And please note that the recent increase in denial rate from Embassy was as a result of the fact of inability of some students that suppose to resume let's say March last year but was unable to get appointment for visa interview but are getting appointment now, they are denied because of the fact that their resumption date have expired, that one of the reasons embassy are using to refuse them visa, that's what we are experiencing here now, but anyone that falls into that category, will have to appeal and will definitely get it
So it is advible to start looking for appointment once your admission is released unlike that of Work that have longer duration before expiration.

It is simply say you have to authenticate your o level certificate at MOE & MOFA, collect eligibility letter, then proceed to Embassy with Legalization appointment an then get them legalized by the embassy which takes 2 days
The you can use it to apply.

please how long does it take to get your certificate legalised at the embassy? I think embassy will get to NUC then to your school while it's taken back to NUC and then embassy. I want to know the period it takes o get that done

It takes minimum of 6weeks for verification and Legalization of our certificate at the Portugal embassy
Once your documents is submitted the count down start , although some cases exceed 6 weeks. However after your documents have been verified, embassy will contact u to come and Legalize that day after paying for the Legalization fee which is 20$ per documents(which is about 35000 currently as of the on I did earlier this week)
However verification of Bsc& transcript is free, why u will have to pay Verification fee for other documents.

The issue is that there are no appointment dates at the embassy for the PCC.
How can one legalize a PCC when u got a VFs appointment for May ?

But you can legalize your PCC a day before your appointment date..u don't have any issues on that.

You didnt do anything wrong but Appointment date for Documents verification/ Legalization at the embassy is not available now, although some do cancel theirs

How can one legalize a PCC with the current unavailability of appointment date at the Portuguese Embassy?

To Legalize your PCC you need to get appointment online and it can be legalize that same day in the Abuja embassy unlike other documents that ie marriage certificate, birth and academic certificates that undergoes verification which last 6 weeks before legalization.
