Gabrielshow24:It's written right there. Your choices are NOT truly your own though you'd swear they are - as in a hypnotized person |
How come in the old days and biblical times, no genotype, yet no problems |
1Alex:You sure have a good memory, or you keep very good records |
Nigeria AND Yoruba? I thought Yoruba was a tribe in Nigeria? |
Wahala, Wahala, Wahala, in Portable's voice Portable, Ole! - VDM |
giftson102:We have our grand and great grand parents as evidence. And all those women in the Bible. You hardly hear of any of them dying in childbirth - despite no genotype, no ante-natal, no c-section, etc |
thepathoflogos:Some of us don't know how blessed we are until someone else complains of not having something we take totally for granted, something we don't even realize we have |
What I don't understand is why in the old days they had no c-sections AND no birth issues. |
Sonnobax15:I disagree with you. It is an enjoyable song and it shows he has another dimension to him. I never knew he was into music. Like play, like play, im music career go blow |
Goodlady:All in a bid to reach 40 characters! Thanks a lot Seun! ![]() |
Gabrielshow24:Like I've said before, we can't go into anybody's head and see if they truly have freewill. We can only infer from what we observe. If a hypnotist has a subject conditioned to jump every time he hears a whistle, the subject could very well have fee will and be doing it intentionally, but we observing will have to conclude he's under mind control. Same way, if Peter is told he'd do what he would never normally do, exactly 3 times in a few hours. He could very well have done it intentionally, or "circumstances could have been configured to match his actions", but we observing will have to conclude he was under some sort of mind control, or he was acting out what had somehow already happened (as in that my clip). So, same way, we don't know how God does his thing. It could very well be he "has an advanced means of configuring circumstances to match his words based on your actions" like you said, or he bends the whole world to match whatever you do, or you always find out what he predetermined and then use your free will to do it. All good and well, but we as observers see it as what it most likely is - your choices are not truly your own! Gabrielshow24:Bottom line: you can't answer the question and you're trying to camouflage with long chess goobblydygook. So it is settled: You CAN'T 100% MUST be at a certain place at a given time (you have no choice), and at same time 100% don't have to be there because you have freewill and can be any place you choose! |
Gabrielshow24:So Mr Boomark what do you have to say about this? Dtruthspeaker also. As for my prepared long response, I've decided to discard it and state only this one point: You are taking the LIVING God (Father,Son, HS) out of the equation. Trinity doctrine would not have survived this long if God were not behind it. I know you'd mention other things that have also survived, but this is different - it pertains to God PERSONALLY. Same way Christianity could not be stamped out by Rome because God was behind it, same way Arianism was popular even after Nicea but eventually had to die because God was not behind it, the LIVING CHRIST is involved in these things and alive in people's lives. A lie about him personally would not have survived and thrived for this long. The Bible is great, but it is still only words in a book - a book that has been handled and mishandled by many, many men for a long time! |
Dtruthspeaker: Gabrielshow24:How would you answer this below? I'm taking my time preparing an answer that will totally put the issue to rest Boomark: |
Dtruthspeaker:Maybe you're right. I haven't been seeing that "Nobody" lately |
Dtruthspeaker: Gabrielshow24:This is not a matter of too much grammar. Please calmly explain to us how God can know exactly where you MUST be at 3pm (you 100% can't be any place else), YET you can be any place else! So you can't be any place else, YET you can be any place else! Can't you see there's NOTHING you can say or twist to make it add up FROM HUMAN PERSPECTIVE?? Gabrielshow24:Does this statement make sense to you? An infinite God knows you MUST be at certain spot at 3pm today. It is part of His plan. Please explain how chess theory allows you to be another place at 3pm and thwart his plan!
|
Gabrielshow24:You don't understand, it doesn't matter chess theory or how many billions of moves there are, if you can ONLY make one particular move at a particular given moment, you can't possibly have freewill. Freewill means you have the freedom to put that piece anywhere at that given moment, including throw it away! Further, remember the underlined below as definition of freewill.

Dexlomo:Not sure. But below is cost of a month's supply which is what you need to prevent infection AFTER the virus has already entered you

Dtruthspeaker:What else could have happened to them? Everything he ever posted couldn't have been deleted without his consent. I mean people delete their moniker all the time and it shows as "nobody". |
Gabrielshow24:Nice chatting with you. It's just a matter of HONESTY and admitting you don't have all the answers, instead of claiming to know then saying something everyone can see is ridiculously false. From our perspective as human beings God can't already know what you will do, what you must do, and yet you have the freewill to choose to do it or not. It is IMPOSSIBLE from human perspective. It is either one or the other. And trying to twist words and things so that they are both somehow simultaneously true is called DISHONESTY! |
Dtruthspeaker:Actually they're not bans. That's why I wrote this before: Anybody knows why MaxInDHouse deleted all his 43 topics and all his posts? Maybe he quit JW or got disfellowshiped or something. I pray he's ok. |
