RomanceRe: Can You Really Tame An Extravagant Man? by freeman11(m): 9:50pm On Oct 13, 2012
vivian chinaza: Hi guys, ok I met this guy sometime ago, he is a nice guy tho not perfect. I wasn't in love with him anyway but I just decided to get close to him and see if the love could develop.

When I got closer to him I found out he is an extravagant spender, he just jumps into things without planning them. He can begin 5 projects at a time without a proper strategy/planning and some of the money he uses for these project are bank loans. This aspect of his lifestyle did not go down with me. I kept talking but at the end of the day he will do what pleases him.

You dont know what life have in store for you. I started poor untill i got married i never knew i was a heavy spender not untill i made my first buck.
Notwithstanding my wife channelled that habit to acquiring assets.
The truth is that men who spend are very emotional and such quality could be used to tame them or redirect that flaw

The one that broke the camel's back was when he bought a flashy car while he was yet to complete his buildings at the village and city respectively, he bought the car and made a commitment of over 1m just for tourism/travelling around and staying in 5 star hotels.
I just knew that moment he wasn't for me, this guy really loves me but I'm a careful spender and I love planning things before I do them. So I told him to stop coming cos it won't work out between us. And I moved on and even forgot he existed.

Today he called me probably to find out how I'm managing the flood situation, we got talking and somehow we ended up talking about what happened between us. From his voice I could sense his love and desire for me,,,,,,,,but,,,,,,,

How do I deal with this aspect of his life? Can I tame him? Is it really possible? Not that it will guarantee any relationship cos I'm yet to developed feelings for him. But I just wanna try, take this baby step and maybe reconsider.......they say love grows right?

Mature advise pls........
I dont see what the big deal is here. I doubt that bill will be as common as 1000 and its predecessors.

Secondly, Nigeria will go cashless soon whether or whethant.

I guess the whole idea here must be politically backed. They are sick of looting huge sums in visibly large quantities and they rather steal the nations wealth easier. Imagine 4 bundles of that will be 10million naira

why wont they think we are dummies?

A lot of married women i know that got married at that age cheat on their husband. they come with the excuse that they were naive when they got married.

even if she humble now and or timid, just let her be cos she is still developing and trying to place her needs. first hand info.... she will cheat on you later in the relationship even when you have wooed her into marrying you.

abscond!!!!

EducationMerit & Demerits Of An Online Education by freeman11(op): 7:22pm On Sep 01, 2011
Please NLs, I am an HND holder in mechanical engineering but want to run an online program in project management (Msc- distance learning). My inquiry revealed the program is accredited in the university of Liverpool.

What are the benefit (aside the fact that I work and need flexibility), and dangers associated with such programs. And does anybody have any information about the school?

I would appreciate sincere and Frank exposition

FamilyRe: Is My Salary Enough To Get Married? (N45,000) by freeman11(m): 7:35pm On Aug 22, 2011
i am interested in this topic cos we young ones, in the quest of financial stability lose our grip on a love one, and after we must achieved that status start looking for that missing rib;

i got married with an average monthly income of 35,000. that was 2008. we saved up for 6months and went ahead with the wedding. the truth is that we decided not to involve children because my friend, you want the best for your children, from a one room to a self-contained, to a 2-bedroom, to a , the rest is history

the secret lies in finding the right woman THEN you would discover that 45,000 is even more than enough for your NEEDS.

Nairaland GeneralA House Or A Business, Which Should Comes First? by freeman11(op): 6:37pm On Aug 17, 2011
Hi NLanders,
I am a salary earner, comfortable for now, isha allah. i am faced with an option of either erecting a family house as i stay in a rented apartment, or starting up a business as a second income and letting my wife run it (i am married with a son). another problem is that; though my wife have agreed to run the business if started, but she is not really enthusiastic about it as She would rather look for a job after her NYSC (she is currently serving)

so two issues here;
1- which do i start first; a business or build a family house
2- do she really need that much persuasion to leave her pursuit and join me

i would really appreciate your frank suggestion. there have been a lot of talk lately about multiple streams of income. there is one i am passionate about, so?
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is A Very Weak President – David-west by freeman11(m): 12:55pm On Jul 31, 2011
Tam west and all his NL contributors shuld shut up and not talk because there is a cheap avenue to contribute huh
TW is invariable telling us he was the elder, th ND militias were looking upto.
The problem with Nigerians is that we want cheap salvation when in our little Corners we can't event contribute meaningfully. We need a SYSTEM that work not abracadabra leadership that would be very beautiful on the outside while empty inside.
I think GEJ in building a system, not a cinema.
