Hi JideSM I mistakenly transferred 1000 data from a VTU line to someone who told me he doesn't use the no I transferred it for browsing that he wanted it in his other line. The SIM I transferred it was a 3g macro SIM and that he doesn't want to cut. I had to send transfer another 1k to his 4g micro SIM which he claimed he didn't see. I had to check through vtm.mtnonline.com for details of transaction for that day March 4th 2018 only to discover it was sent to him. I want to transfer my data back. How possible is that please.

Do u use coupon or voucher? ... Is dere a way to cancel confirmed order? Wen i try to purchase through d App " the products in your cart changed" keep pooping up and later "item sold out" until today i use their email address wen dey mail me today. However, I was disappointed bcoz I unable to use my vouchers and d delivery day stated hav change from two days to Lagos to roughly btw 21 - 35 working day.

I did not use any coupon or voucher...but some of their coupons or vouchers have time limit and you will have to purchase items up to a particular amount before you are able to enjoy some. I tried using the app the day I bought too but it didn't respond early enough so I used the my normal browser and it went.. .. As for the duration, I ordered on March 20th and what I see in the delivery info page now is that it will arrive Lagos on the 27th of March. That should be about 5-7working days.. Not bad if you ask me. I think the issue with yours will not be unconnected with the fact the flash sale time for that particular item was already gone.

The voucher here is for order of 50k and above and was to be used between 01-02.

That's true... Only Tom Tom seem to be common these days yet it's not in every home. Their most recognised product(Bournvita) seem to be disappearing from homes with no enough improvement and advert to push it back.

It depends on the bank...First bank would want you to feel the form @least as day of the week before auction week. In Stanbic or GT Monday or early morning on Tuesday of the auction week is fine.

I asked her for the current rate she told me that Cbn has not publish that they will do the bidding when it's out.. So I left the form with her.. Today I logged in with my app and I discovered that m having only 4996 naira.. I didn't see my upfront interest and I don't no the rate she used ..what should I do tomorrow when I get to the bank?

Simple.. If you have her contact call her and if you don't, you will have to visit her to ask the questions you asked here..

You can decide to liquidate before maturity and make money on it..(Capital Appreciation)

This is how banks and discount houses trade Treasury Bills. They dont hold all to maturity!

The trick is to buy when the Yield is high and sell when the yield is low!

Thanks Oga feelamong for this particular post. At least it will help clear the air on this particular issue because we have tried to discuss it without a reasonable conclusion. Since you don abandon us for here... Some of us here have the believe that anything that make you terminate before maturity you must loose money. At least this post will help us see that it is dependent on rate gotten from auction and rate sold afterwards.

Still on GTB, I put up my T bills actually due for maturity in 57 days for sale in the secondary market and to greatest surprise what was deducted from my initial face value is unspeakable. When I calculated it base on percentage, they are charging me like 30% for the 57 days. Simple language lets assume

invested N13,700,000
Date : 4th may 2017
Expected maturity : 3rd May 2018

Date my account was credited 8th of March
Amount paid : N13,058,000.

Currently I am out of town, I have been calling my account officer to know what happened but so far I have not gotten any reasonable info. I am loosing lose to 650k for just 57 days . Please expert in the house I need your advice on this .

The initial rate given to you at the time of investment and the amount given as interest upfront will help... Also you have to look @ your proof/certificate of investment and be sure GT does not have a some kind of outrageous charge for termination before maturity...

The money deducted seem to be somehow high.

It's like Cadbury took some cans of redbull yesterday..

Note : interest rate is not constant; it fluctuates. If its MMF your interest is credited daily except weekend where you will have to wait for it to be credited on Monday morning.

Better by far than what you will get in 2months Fixed Deposit.

Gurus in the house, is there a way by which i can get hold of these forms without been physically present at any First Bank's branch?

Try firstcontact@firstbankofnigeria.com you should get a reply after 24hrs. Monday morning will be better as today is as good as gone. Just send it very early in the morning before they get to the office.

You either call the customer care or mail firstcontact@firstbankofnigeria.com with the details of your transaction. I believe you will get a reply on the reasons why it's so and maybe rectify it. Since you not close to the bank right now.

It should be today.. Maybe they forgot and left the money if not first bank on normal days will debit you immediately you make the request but for other banks they'll debit tomorrow.

It depends how long you want to keep the money. FGN Savings Band has minimum of 2yrs and maximum of 3yrs tenure while TB has minimum of 91days(3 months) & maximum of 364days(1year) tenure. Between March-May last year when Feb Savings Bond started the rate was about 13.18% & 14.18 for the 2 & 3 years tenure. Then TB rate was about 17-18% for 364days tenure.
The last offer for 2-Year FGN Savings Bond due February 14, 2020: was 10.277% per annum. The last offer for 3-Year FGN Savings Bond due February 14, 2021: 11.277% per annum.
While the last TB auction offered 13-13.7% depending on your bank.

FGN Savings Bond interest is paid quarterly while the upfront TB interest can be reinvested almost immediately or used to solved other issues as soon as your investment starts counting.

If you invest in FGN Savings Bond your interest rate stands that way till its expiration/maturity of either 2 or 3 years depending on the tenure you choose. However if you invest in TB the rate may not be same for next year if you intend to reinvest. It could be higher or lower so the choice is your.

Their matter be like snake wey swallow wetin be pass am. Since they had an encounter with Oceanic Bank their ways of treating customers have never remained the same. I just wish I have nothing to do with them but somehow I am tied to them because it's so stressful changing salary bank account.

StanbicIBTC Nigeria Equity Fund is about the most volatile Fund in StanbicIBTC Mutual Funds due to the volatile nature of NSE. At the beginning of the year, NSE was bullish that's why you saw that high gains but now it seem mix of both . I am not sure there is guaranteed on your capital with this fund; meaning if the if the equity market goes down more it may not only erode your gains but may also eat into your capital. The minimum holding period without penalty is 90days. Try and mail them directly or visit them if you have the for a concrete explanation.
