inoki247:LOL. Isn't it obvious? Trader money Osinbajo shares before an election and suspend after elections. You have to register on the spot with your PVC before you're given N10,000. I heard PYO is ready to restart the scheme soon. Yeah, we're not fooled. |
ozo13:Agan some adults are shameless, not Obi's fault. Once they see money, they stretch their hands too hence Obi's focus on the kids he intends to give to. Find another point. |
IamWonderful:Let's see. Hand clinched, mouth curled. The facial expression of the man looks like he was just hailing Obi. Obi wasn't even looking at him but focused on the kids. Why do propagandist have to make a great deal out of an innocent photo. |
PROUDIGBO:He is obviously and I wonder why they went as far as cropping the original photo to hide the true identity of the kids. |
alanto:Do you even realize that the teenagers are not of voting age. Open your eyes and look at the kids in the photo. Why was their faces cropped from the original photo? What false narrative were they trying to sell us? Politics is truly a dirty game. |
How a harmless photo of Peter Obi giving teenagers money was cropped, blown out and turned into a propaganda tool that shows he's also corrupt is still a mystery to me. Like Chimamanda said, beware of the single story. Original photo attached. Note the teenagers he's giving money to. Peter Obi no dey give shi-shi.

I remember when I was arrested at Yaba for carrying a laptop. Police1: Oga wetin dey inside this bag? Me: My computer and hard disk. Police1: Oya enter this motor Police2: [Collects my bag and power on my computer] Open am, put your password. I refused to unlock my computer or my phone. I told them that I'll only do that in the presence of a senior officer. So I was taken to their office just after the bridge. I was led into the DCO's office who I suppose was educated but perhaps in other discipline. I explained to him that I was a software engineer and I was returning from work. He grabbed his phone, googled some stuff and said "OK engineer, how do you invert a binary tree, tell me" I almost chuckled.Anyway,I had to explain root and how binary search tree works before he let me off. Abeg make una no too blame our policemen, na wetin children go chop dem dey find. ![]() |
otipoju:A lot of Nigerians don't know that there is something called an inheritance tax in the West. Where the Government imposes a 40% tax on you for dying, thereby forcing your heir to sell off your estate in order to pay inheritance tax. To mitigate this, wealthy individual MUST secure their assets offshore through a trust. Anyone worth above $10,000,000 without a proper tax structure will learn a bitter lesson when they die. |
That's rich. I'll sell mine for a paltry N10,000,000. |
ygowon:I'm not sure if Nigerans know that Peter Obi is a marketing consultant by profession and that these brands he "brought" to Nigeria including Heinz, Ovaltine, International Breweries etc were through marketing consultation contracts. If a man can take an unknown foreign brand like Heinz and Ovaltine and make them household names in Nigeria, you gotta appreciate his capacity to build structures at scale. Nigerians will understand what structure truly means when the |
DryMouth:The law always support them. That recording was chilling. "Go ahead, call the cops. Tell them you were assaulted by a woman and see who they believe" Believe it or not women now controls the narrative for social justice. The law by default is on the woman's side, a man will have to convine the court of his innocence. It's a frightful time to be a man. |
It's about N20,000 in India. I believe it should be around 15k-18k per month in Nigeria. |
obedience4:Describe Component and Technology. Component parts make up technology and those component parts are mostly sourced from China because of the availability of precision and calibration specialists. No country in the world churns out precision specialists like Chinese Universities. If you move the EE factories in Shanghai alone to the USA, there'll be a shortage of P&C specialists. Feel free to verify. There is also no cheap labour in China, those days are gone. The advantage China wields over the world today is in mass production, not cheap labour. Chinese technology is the most advanced in the world. Their only lack is in the manufacturing of semiconductors which is fast becoming a thing of the past with their recent success in advanced 5-nanometer technology. You should follow China tech with an open mind. It's not what it used to be. The rift between the USA and China today is basically because of China's success in 5G and Semiconductor technology. |
gambojimeta:The ignorance! Which car do you drive? I'll list at least 10 components in it manufactured in China. |
So this is the best she can be? Selling ugwu by the road side. Women are so privileged, they feel that doing the barest minimum should earn them some accolades. Imagine if a man sells Ugwu by the road side and post it on Instagram as some sort of motivation. Just imagine it. |
blackboy:You be real island boy. Eru 1 - Hummer H2 Eru 2 - Mercedes Brabus Eru 3 - Grand Cherokee etc Amazing childhood memories |
newdawn2017:You seem to know the man very well. What happened to his wealth? I don't understand what he needs rentals for. He was so wealthy. |
pocohantas:Is this not Akindele aka Eru 1? Looks like him Wow that's Ile Eru ooo.. This man's tale is legendary. I looked up to this man growing up on the island. In fact, I was so close I see him everyday, even spoken to him a few times but I was closer to Alhaja, his mother. I liked him a lot cos he was so flashy and generous. The first time I saw a hummer H2, it was his. The first time I saw a Mercedes Brabus, it was his. The first time I saw a SAT phone, it was also his. and believe me, I saw a lot. In my Innocence I didn't know what he does actually. I just knew he was very wealthy and a respectable person on the island. Plus he has a lot of "boys" who could be ummmmm very violent sometimes. And the multitude of Alfas that comes to pray for him **Coughs** It took me a while to know what he actually does and I wasn't fazed at all. I loved him more. To me he was legendary. ![]() I heard he went to prison, is he still rich? What about pretty Toyin, did he marry her at last? We left the area a long time ago when it became extremely violent. pocohantas abeg gist me small. |

Noted however, beyond these benefits, LCC also brings some other detriments to society. Who turned off the lights and removed the security cameras at Lekki toll gate before the #EndSARS massacre? These are the questions Lagosians are asking LCC. We want LCC to give an account of their role in the Lekki massacre of 20-10-2020. Oh, you thought we forgot. |
