Congratulations, you have just secured a new job.

So what happens when he flaunts laid down protocols? You can't fire him cos he might hack your system. Never hire this kind of engineer.

When a software engineer finds a vulnerability in your system, ethically, they're bound to report their findings so that the vulnerability can be patched. Exploiting a vulnerability is illegal in SE.

HBB1:
So Hollywood started before VHS, yeah?

With Cinema right?

So who started cinemas in Nigeria and who even made the first films?
Yes, but what you understand as cinemas today wasn't what cinemas were back in the 70s. Back then, cinemas were venues for watching stage plays and theatrical performances. I'm not saying that there were no motion pictures at the time but these films were typically owned and controlled by TV networks. Hollywood revolutionized this space and started broadcasting films on reels nationwide in cinemas.

There have always been motion pictures like Charlie Chaplin's shows broadcasted on network TVs, however, these were not Hollywood movies. Hollywood's ingenuity lay in the commercialization of the movie industry, which gave rise to independent motion-picture studios across Hollywood, LA. They established a production and distribution network capable of global scalability.

This same innovation is what led to the birth of Nollywood. Fortunately, the advent of VHS cassettes made the commercialization of production and distribution of Nigerian movies more accessible.

HBB1:
So Hollywood started with VHS films?

🤣
Hollywood can be traced back to the moment when some visionary filmmakers transformed cinemas into a thriving commercial industry, giving rise to the movie studios in Hollywood. There have always been stageplays in cinemas across every region, including the Muslim north. Nollywood is not about Baba Kareem documenting his stage performances. The keyword here is commercialization which gave birth to both Nollywood and Hollywood.

GoodLife4live:
talk say una no get VHS for house... Jaguar naa tv series not vhs
I'm sure you enjoyed Nollywood films on VHS tapes back in 1978, right from your village's Ifa Calabash. The fact that you didn't know movies were broadcasted from film reels speaks volumes. TV series ko!

Dem never even born u our mum talkless u... First televised movie was in 1973... A Yoruba film..

Jaguar in 1978 in bronkin English..
.
There was no commercial VHS cassettes in 1978, so where was this movie you mentioned recorded?

You guys need to take a chill pill, this constant supremacy battles are unnecessary. Nollywood, just like it's American counterpart Hollywood, means commercialization of film production and distribution.

Your country's foreign reserve is $3.7B currently and you're asking what is happening. undecided

For perspective, it means we do not have enough FX to import used vehicles alone, and Nigeria imports a lot of products.

FreeStuffsNG:
Smh. He just woke up. For almost 3 years, the state has advertised and announced severally and even set up a committee for members of the society to come forward and identify or report to them a missing relative, no one came forward for any of these bodies.

The state went further to spend millions to preserve these bodies while waiting for the families, particularly those alleged to be killed at lekkilies, still nobody came forward.

Should LASG continue to keep the bodies for ever or should we forever believe the lie that anyone killed will not have families, friends, neighbours, pastors, imams etc.

If Amnesty International Nigeria is serious, it should not have kept quiet but helped the government publicize the long drawn public announcement to members of the public.

I will support Amnesty if it will offer to bear the cost of the extra days the LASG will be keeping these bodies. It is not enough for them to talk, talk is cheap. What will amnesty undertake to ensure that the families are found and tax payers in Lagos does not continue to bear the brunt and cost of keeping these bodies for ever. They are in govt mortuaries at a cost borne by the govt for almost 3 years now, what does amnesty want to do to help Lagos?

Btw, if or since you have your family member or members among the dead there, accept my condolences, please go and claim your dead abeg. If you don't have a relative there and for 3 years have not seen a single person you know who has a relative yet talk about lekkilies, then you are ignorant and mischievous. Check my signature for free stuffs!
Where did the Govt advertised this news? Just the name and date of the advertisement will be enough.

DoTheNeedful:
A lot of Obidients thrive on conspiracy theories, lies and misinformation. Unfortunately, many unscrupulous elements are feeding on these weaknesses to grow their social media and YouTube following e.g. NedMedia.

We have been telling them that Obi didn't prove anything in court for the court to rule in his favor. He has not been able to show the court the number of votes that he was deprived of, the number of votes to be subtracted from Tinubu's and/or Atiku's votes. He has also not shown how the non-transmission of the votes to electronically has affected him. If you are familiar with court judgements about elections in Nigeria, you would know that these are usually the things judges base their decisions on.

I can bet with everything I have in this world that the court will not deliver victory for Obi, maybe a rerun at best. The very intelligent ones among the Obidients know this and that is why they are looking into disqualifying Tinubu based on other technicalities like the so called Shettima double nomination and so on.
Unfortunately, you don't have anything. Come back when you move out of your parents' for a start.
