Their 20% commission still seems too high sha.

I was online since 7pm, went out for about 45min' came back, had to refresh the page and login again, only to see SproutGigs at the top.

Honestly the commission is high, withdrew $30 last month and a whooping $5+ commission was deducted. The higher the withdrawal the higher the commission (Be like na to dey remove $5 every week o )

They should have done it in a way, once you get a certain level, your commission drops, it shows you're consistent and you'll want to get to that level cus you know it will benefit you thereby working hard and visiting the site regularly. They get their traffic, you get a reduced commission. No be win win be that?

My major issue and cos for delay in progress is my phone lagging and my inability to switch from different apps seemlessly over my phone, trying to get OTPs and all other things that get me off my browser, it's really annoying how bad a poor device can limit productivity cos most times I would even hold a job and end up spending more time than necessary to get back to finishing it and then it's lost and over, time wasted for nothing.

I can understand the frustration that comes with using a low-end device.

Let me add an advice to @bolded, first off, before you pick a job, try to understand the job requirements and put your phone into consideration, what your phone is capable of doing. I use a Tecno W2 Lite - 1gb ram, and I can tell you I've been left frustrated on many occasions until I understood what I needed to do.

Most jobs that require I close Chrome for more than 3minutes to open another app, I tend to ignore, reasons that pages on chrome have a limited time-lapse when the app is closed or minimized and your phone not having enough ram to keep it running (that why, when you come back, your browser restarts, or the page reloads and you're logged out).

Another thing, try to give certain apps permission to chrome, that way you can open certain apps already installed on your phone without having to worry about restarting or reloading pages on chrome.

What I mean is, let say a job description says go to YouTube and watch a video for 4minutes, and the link is given, when you tap on the link chrome gives you an option to open YouTube through the app, or copy the link and paste in a new tab, when you click open through app, chrome grants YouTube app permission to open the link, and you can watch the video via the app, now you can seamlessly switch between apps without the fear of one closing.

Also in situations where the link is not given copy whatever word you would search on YouTube and open youtube via a new tab in chrome don't minimize your browser to go open YouTube, your phone might not have enough ram to accommodate a new app and close the already existing apps that are open to give more space for the app you just opened (Lol hope I made sense here, and you understand )

Hopefully you'll get a new phone and achieve your target.

Side note: I have a Laptop so I'm not to bothered about my phone misbehaving or lagging, I mostly use the phone for social media tasks, at least that doesn't overwork the poor 1gb ram phone

You can start with easier jobs like social media where you'll be asked to either follow, like or comment on a particular post or pictures. From there you can work your way up.

Familiarize yourself with submitting proof through these social media jobs, as each job requires a certain kind of proof, there are not hard but getting use to it will help and save you time.

Search on YouTube for videos to help you out.

You can, If you put in extra work (A whole lot, I might add) you can achieve this if you spend more time on the Sign-up category, they pay more in that section as you're required to sign-up for apps, websites, some require you do KYC (here's where the work lies) some might need you to use your credit/debit cards for free trials. The one I love most is Gmail account creation.

The pay ranges from around $0.90 to $2, some pay up to $4 but the job is engaging and limited (Fastest Fingers).

About offers and Surveys, I'll advice you stop as they're mostly time consuming. For some reasons in this part of the world, offers seem to be a problem, it could be network or region related. I personally don't do offers cuz all the times I tried, I wasn't successful.

Survey should be done on the MicroJob section not the Survey section as you'll mostly not be successful if you take up the job, most times you may not fit the description of what the company wants. Surveys on the MicroJob sections are more straight forward.

Now you get my point, that has been my argument all along, that's why I made it clear on items that cost below 20 USD. What ever tactics the seller intends to use to bring your product to you via free DHL is up to him. But note that some maybe scam, a guy recently complained about free DHL, 3pages back, he was giving a wrong tracking number. The tracking number was for someone else's order under DHL.

As per the other part of free DHL being real in some instances, I recall when I got a gate opener from a seller, he had two different adverts of the same item in his store. Then, the dollar was still around 350 naira. First advert gave 45k cost price, 66k FedEx shipping. The second advert gave 119k cost price, free FedEx shipping. Note that the second one is 8k more than the total of the first advert even though it is tagged free FedEx shipping; and from the same seller ó.

@bolded, I also made it clear in my previous post, I don't have a problem with free DHL if the cost of the item is high (expensive) like you earlier said, the cost of shipping has been added to the item, no problem. Like in your scenario the free shipping was a tactics used by the seller to lure customers, not every one will pick out the 8k increase like you did, so in dis case the 8k I think is for the seller will the original FedEx shipping cost is added to the item. I'm sure if you take away the 8k, the price of the free shipping and the paid shipping will be the same.

In both scenarios painted (yours or mine), due diligence is key because I could have paid more to that seller if I jumped on the "Free FedEx shipping" tag.

This is not entirely true. The fact is that every seller has different prices for the same item. So that a seller writes "free shipping" against an item doesn't mean that the shipping is free, even with the usual AESS, Cainiao etc etc. It only means that the shipping fees (which may be negligible in the case of the latter) has as a marketing strategy been added to the cost price of the item. So as a buyer, you're drawn more to items with "free shipping".

DHL shipping may be "free", but the truth is that the shipping price has been added to the cost price which will be increased. You pay the seller that cost price, he deducts the shipping fees and pays DHL or FedEx as the case may be, then he keeps his cost price on the item.

This however does not rule out some sham sellers which put "free" against items to draw buyers but in reality they are fake. This happens both with DHL and other regular shipping methods.

I want to ask you a question;
If the price of shipping is been added to the items you intend to purchase (which I'm not arguing is not done, I believe it is) would you pay an outrageous amount for an item you know isn't worth the price? What I'm trying to say... if you follow that link above, you'll see a screenshot for an item that cost $1.20 and DHL shipping cost is N25000.

Let do a little math, let say the seller offers free DHL shipping having in mind (from what you said) the seller will bargain with DHL split the bills (settling DHL) then keep the rest.... Now if the seller was to add the original DHL shipping price of N25000 to the $1.20 item, would you buy the item?

People have laid their frustration and worry here of how sellers offer free DHL and after transactions, item never came or the tracking number issued was fake or it belonged to someone else and when seller was contacted a new tracking number was issued or seller never responded.

Anyway someone asked for advice, I decided to help out with the best of knowledge I've gathered from these thread, it's left for folks to pick or leave. I can only say the negative testimonies of using free DHL shipping out weighs the positives 10-1.

OK, I stand to be corrected. That being said. Let's analyze a little..... I'm sure you're aware of the outrageous shipping price tag DHL or FedEx attached to products, even when the cost of shipping is 20times more than the actual product you bought whether the product cost 5usd of 10usd.....

Based on what you said, let's say I buy a product that originally cost 10 dollars and I pick DHL as the shipping line, I'm most certain DHL shipping price for that product will b more than 15 thousand naira and the product doesn't even weigh up 1k or 1g.

If I'm to add that 15k to the 10usd do you think I would buy that product for that amount, the answer is HELL NO.

I'll plead with you, please take just 10min' of your time go on AE and search for products less than 20 USD, products you know worth the price tag, and select DHL as you shipping line, tell me what you observe, if the seller were to add the cost of shipping from DHL you would look else where.

I can understand if the cost of the product you want to purchase is high and you need it asap, then you decide to opt for DHL or FedEx, no problem. But a seller offering you free DHL, nah... no way.

One more thing, please try to check if you will see Free shipping and DHL or FedEx is involved. Like AE offering you free shipping and under the list you see DHL or FedEx..... There's a reason why that is at least from what I've seen.

Below is an image of an item that cost 1.20usd, I opted for DHL shipping, you can see the cost of shipping, not just DHL alone even EMS cost is high. With only the shipping fee I can buy that product 100 times.

If the seller was to offer me free DHL shipping then something will definitely be wrong somewhere, don't you think?

Chat up the seller and explain yourself, the seller may understand and offer you options on how to go about the payment.

Also note not every seller will agree to split payment for his product. Good luck

One more thing: take caution on the mode of payment the seller offers, anything outside AliExpress, kindly decline. If the seller offers you pay for the products outside AE, refuse the offer, payment should be done within the walls of AE.

Kindly exercise a little patience and wait for the timer to elapse. I'm sure then the option for dispute will come up.

Bro the only solution your bank will offer you is to get a dollar card and a domiciliary account, that way you can save in dollars and transact in dollars.

Login to your AE account via PC/Desktop, computer version. You'll be directed to verify your AE account, after the verification you can transact again.

Dollar limit on most of these cards are marked at $20 USD, except for GTB which folks have testified to carrying out transactions worth over $100 USD.
Note: not everyone has been lucky enough using GTB card.
