Guys if you're not a chemical engineering graduate and you got an invite to the dangote refinery test. Don't bother going. The test is 120 minutes as stated in the mail. Two sections - chemical engineering section and general aptitude questions consisting of numeric 80% and verbal 20%. Each section is 60 minutes. Just prepare wide |

Just try your luck. There was no age restriction in the job post. Probably the offer maybe better. You can never tell. farouk111: I equally recieved the invitation, but they said it is for chemical engineers only, and I read Electrical, and I am more than 30 years as people are saying, I don't know what to do.. |

I did mine without printing the sop. They have the sop you uploaded on the site. If you didn't upload it then you have to submit a printed copy. Don't go and waste your money to print 5 copies. When I did the interview, I saw people's sop as a waste on the table. SorbariIgbiri: Guys.. plsss are they using the uploaded SOP or we need to print and make photocopies?? pls kindly respond... is it same with proposal for PhD?? we just need a little guide plss guys.. |

Do you know how many they will pick per state Newcastle2023: I learnt from a PTDF staff that it was only 40 persons per state that made it to the interview stage for MSc category and 30 persons per state for the PhD category. I wish all of us here all the best. I was also told the process is strictly merit based. That any other consideration is outside this particular process. |

Yeah you're right. You still have great potential NemB: This is just to let everyone know that although i gained so much knowledge... so much.. (NBC trains you in so many aspects of engineering, its unbelievable ) ...anyway... my guy that joined kpmg while I joined NBC currently earns "current NBC salary plus 156k" (minus those their lump sums)
...just incase anyone else finds themselves in this position in future...
I dont regret my choice still. I dont think i would have had enough knowledge/time to pass my msc scholarship exam if I was in kpmg |

Lol I hope you're not from my state Minnieny: Which of the awards was accepted? Is it the volunteer award? Cos I have a volunteer award also and two others, and they accepted all the three awards I gave them. They even accepted a grant proposal write-up that I gave to them in other to cover up for my publication cos I have no publication yet, to which they told me that it was very good. The proposal was published on the Elsevier site (for being among the top 50 proposals) because they hosted it. But I don't know if they shifted it to award or left it in the publication section. My interview was at Ibadan. |

TRS meaning Tax regulatory services, is tax related material Epique: Guys...so there’s something I do not seem to understand. I applied for Tax and Assurance. However, you’d notice that the pdf sent was only for Advisory and Assurance and even in the latter, nothing was mentioned on Tax. So at what point do they group/separate Tax from Assurance. Do we get to choose? And who has anything on operations of the PwC Tax unit so as not to leave any stone unturned. Thanks and happy Easter. |

Calling in batches, well is possible. I just don't want people to put too much hope. No need to type here and speculate that it will be in batches. Just wait let them decide and send you an invite mail first. The competition is high. Just keep praying and have faith that something will workout for you. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Halliburton by Fremaxx: 10:30pm On Apr 13, 2019 |
Candidates for this last interview would be up to 80. I don't know how much in January. Some in January has got employment already. The prospective candidates were interviewed by 2 or more PSL using the group tasks. They didn't disclose their departments. For those who have not received any mail from them. They may probably be ghosting you. My advice is to move on. The competition is high there and there are limited spaces. |

It's totally true. I just didn't include graduate intern. I was not sure if banks do that. petrusson: Hmm... This your info is not totally true. Have you not heard of GRADUATE Internship? I know so many people that are doing both GT or Internship. Even the class of degree falls down to what the company wants. I think the major difference is the duration of employment |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: UBA Aptitude Test: What To Expect? by Fremaxx: 11:06am On Mar 25, 2019 |
Good question. The three are different. Internship is for undergraduate students without certificate or NYSC or for ND graduate looking for internship in finance line. Entry level is most time admin work/customer service line, it requires less qualification like HND or Bsc with 2:2 min. Graduate trainee is the lowest executive cadre requiring more technical and logical skillset, min requirement is BSC 2:1. As you can see the hierarchy, that's how they pay well. Employers pay graduate trainee more than entry level and entry level more then interns. Interns sometimes don't get paid as voluntary service. And there is another which is junior staff like cleaners, drivers requirement is just waec result. I hope this helps slimbless: Please can someone differentiate between Entry level internship and graduate trainee. Thanks |
