To be frank Esther, only you can help yourself now. You have a good grade which will open job opportunity for you. PWC always recruits every year for graduate trainee and the job portal opens around february. Ey same thing around May if I am not mistaken. Kpmg opens all year round but you can only participate once in 3 years. Deloitte also brings out advert. You were unfortunate in 2020 because of COVID-19. Most advert came before march 2020. Limited Job vacancy posting during the lockdown. Please remember that applying does not guarantee a safe passage to job offer. You need to prepare to pass the aptitude test and interviews. Trust me the competition is there. Then trust in God, securing a job comes in God's time. Some ppl got their first job after 2-3 years POST NYSC. I just hope age won't be a barrier for you Esther880: Good day Nlanders. I am Esther by name, I am a Nlander but had to create this account because of these, am 23years of age, I graduated with second class upper from a university in nigeria, just finished serving in Jos, during my service I was able to do a professional course (ICAN), and currently need a job..
Please i need your assistance, i am a young graduate, chartered accountant and need to practice what I have always longed for thanks

I agree I think people are dropping too many irrelevant information on the platform like the cut-off mark, the board's decision, no interview just offer letter and soon. I think what we need now is to take a chill pill until somebody says I just received a success mail, an interview invitation or an offer letter. Conspiracy theories and info from the GMs are not helping at all. Just be patient, be prayful and all will work well. ThreeBlackBird: Sorry, but the board has failed woefully, starting from a simple test it could not contract to capable hands. And this should not even excuse anyone's failure because if it were a merit-based system as well, many of these same victims wouldn't make it.
Although, I'm not a part of this exercise but I grieve for the loss of the previous thread. According to findings, the overzelousness of many people who still wouldn't get the job cost us that thread. I mean, whatsapp group for what?
One of them insisted that the noisy whatsapp group the created is more useful than this but he wouldn't stop coming here for information. It's a big shame. |

Briemode: I don't mean to scare you guys but let me just tell you the truth, you're wasting your time and data going through the assessment and interview. Companies like these don't employ people like you they only employ those with well known referees. They already know who they want. What you're doing now is just for formality. You'd better start looking else where and stop wasting your time. It may sound harsh but I know Nigerians love hearing lies. Bye! After reading this, I am highly disappointed with people that jump too quickly to conclusion. Telling people, that the only way to secure a job in Nigeria is through connection. I hope this person's perception changes over time. Please keep applying for jobs like this if you have none. God will surely bless your effort. Stay safe |

A good question. Your interview performance is definitely separated from your test score. Well some organizations compare candidates' interview with the test score. It's good you had 99th percentile, I think you would be considered for the next stage. Well done bro quote author=stringsnchords post=83089008]Hi Everyone, I completed the video interview and I only got 5 questions! From what I have seen on the internet, people have faced around 11 questions. Did anyone else face 5 instead of 11? (They were all different questions) Another thing is, I scored on the 99th percentile on both the Logical and Numerical. Does that make up for the possible mistakes that a candidate may exhibit during the video interview? Thanks and I wish all of you the very best. I am a candidate from Asia by the way. This is a great place to discuss[/quote] |

What job role did you apply for? I don't think it's for the regular graduate trainee position. Nevertheless, prepare for situational and behavioural questions, do your research on the company, know their core values, mission and vision, various departments and what they do, etc. Analyse yourself and know what you can contribute to the company. You can learn on how to answer behavioral questions on google, YouTube etc. jessysparkles: Good evening all... I got an invite for a face to face on Monday, prior to this I didn't write any test. I was laughing at people worrying themselves on odvi invite. When shell is ready to send you an invite, they will and if you don't meet up with their requirements, just forget about the recruitment process. When shell team is ready, they will send the invites. You guys should just calm down. And for those who have done the odvi already. Just keep praying. Anything can happen and hope for the best. It's very logical that this stuff is in batches. |

I wrote on the 17th of July. Both the aptitude test and the work style assessment. I got a response that I have completed the assessment. Tell your friend who has not received a personality test to check his dashboard to confirm if he has successfully completed the assessment. If not, just mail shell straight up Ossaic66: Both of us wrote on the same day 17th July and that's Wednesday. None of received the working style feedback after the tests. I registered on 13th and he registered on 16th July. Today is my Day 6 after registration and his Day 3. I received mail saying what I said earlier that and he got a reminder that his deadline is fast approaching that he should take the test. |

All of you with 2.2 should not put your mind on this job. My advice is to not even apply. You may even be sent an online test but believe you me, you won't get to the interview before they weed you out. These positions are highly competitive. So many people have at least 2:1 in schools from abroad, public, private universities. You don't stand a chance. I am telling this not to have unnecessary hope. And if you have a first class, it doesn't mean you stand a better chance than others. So many first class graduates in this country lol. Well you will see them at the shell assessment day. |
